The present research seeks an understanding about the process of including people with disability in the organizational environment, considering all its historical aspects involving the meaning of the concept, which reflects on the current understanding. Mainly because of labor laws’ recent requirements – Lei de Cotas, regulated in 1991, which involves the entrepreneurs to fill a quota of people with disability in the organizational environment. Since then, companies have been through difficult periods. The majority do not comply with the current regulation, and end up suffering several penalties. All of the inclusion movements’ accomplishments, the advanced studies about people with disability’s rights and the main difficulties for society to promote a real inclusion in the market place make it obvious how far we are from getting to a more diverse workplace. The discussion whether to make companies fully responsible for complying with this regulation as well as educating their employees to be more thoughtful is fairly new; after all, the work environment is not only meant for a job, but also for developing empathetic human beings. Due to this new regulation, a spontaneous engagement by some companies and their employees can be noticed. This involvement does not echo responds as quickly as the market dynamic of people with disability and the labor law need. Thus, the moment to propose a new way to promote inclusion effectively has arrived. It has been identified, within the theory of Integral Approach and the spirituality in the workplace, the crucial concepts to promote an organizational environment that develops conscious and engaged people in this matter. Additionally, spirituality in the workplace provides the appropriate atmosphere to encourage individual connections, once its concepts contemplate people’s development through the awareness and connectivity with themselves and others. Through theoretical findings, an empirical research was performed, based on a semi-structured interview script, with approximately forty participants, representing large companies from Porto Alegre area. Amongst the participants, there were leaders, peers of people with disability, people with disability themselves and HR representatives in each company. Every organization involved in the present research had initiatives to promote inclusion of people with disability, but not necessarily a formal program. The findings have provided a comprehensive understanding of the current diversity scenario in the organizational environment as well as have offered a different possibility of promoting it, which suggests a new way of seeing the subject. Firstly, with the action of the main agents involved in the cause, individuals and companies start developing people to build a more inclusive society: through a model of inclusion named integral.

La dimensión humanística en la formación del contador público / The humanistic approach in the Public Accountant EducationDextre Flores, José Carlos 10 April 2018 (has links)
The objective of this article is to show the importance of the humanistic approach of the accounting student considering the social orientation of accounting knowledge whose main objectives are the preparation, interpretation and assessing of the financial information of the different economical events. These reflections results from three years work devoted to the preparation and implementation of a new career program based on competences for the Facultad de Administración y Contabilidad of the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (PUCP) and the result of a research about the needs and interests of the academic, social and business agents related to the accounting field. The career program adopted take the graduated of the career to prepare moral positive judgments and to understand that the occupation training is just a part of the human approach.

On the theory of TM- electromagnetic guided waves in a nonlinear planar slab structureYuskaeva, Kadriya 22 March 2013 (has links)
TM-(transverse magnetic)guided waves, propagating in a lossless, nonmagnetic three-layer structure (substrate-film-cladding) are studied. Two types of the dielectric permittivities (I and II) are analyzed. All three media of the waveguide with the permittivity of type I are assumed to exhibit a local Kerr-like tensorial nonlinearity. Maxwell's equations in this case are reduced to an exact differential equation leading to a first integral, relating two electric field components so that one component can be eliminated. The other one can be found by integration. Combination of the first integral with the boundary conditions leads to an exact analytical dispersion relations (expressed in terms of integrals) establishing a link between the parameters of the problem (in particular, thickness of the film, the propagation constant of the travelling wave, the electric field components at the interface substrate-film). The film thickness and the propagation constant satisfying the dispersion relation (by given electric field component at the boundary substrate-film)are associated to the possible modes travelling through the waveguide. Numerical evaluation of the corresponding power flow derived using of Maxwell' equations and the first integral processes straightforwardly, without known wave solutions at first. The waveguide with the permittivity of type II consists of the film with the dielectric function depending on the field intensity (Kerr-type nonlinearity) as well as on the transverse coordinate (spatially varying permittivity) situated between the linear, isotropic substrate and cladding. The problem in this case is reduced to a system of two integral equations. Using the Banach fixed-point theorem it is shown that the solutions of Maxwell's equations exist in form of a uniformly convergent sequence of iterations. The conditions of the Banach fixed-point theorem are derived and used to estimate the quality of the approximation. The exact dispersion relation is derived. Results of numerical evaluation of the dispersion relation and field solutions are presented in the first approximation. Solutions of the dispersion relation, the field components and the power flow obtained using the method for the permittivity I are compared with these found using an integral equation approach (the permittivity II but without the coordinate dependence) - the consistency is remarkably good. The proposed methods seem to be applicable to permittivities more general as considered.
