KOLDOVÁ, Kateřina January 2015 (has links)
Diploma thesis called Josef Čapek (monographic study)focuses on Josef Čapek's literary discourse. On the one hand it deals with the meanings of topics and motives, which were crucial for Čapek's writing in the relation with the whole author's work, on the other one it concentrates on formal characteristics of Čapek's literary language. Thesis also attempts to answer the question whether Josef Čapek followed contemporary literary tendencies or whether his works differed and if they did, then how. The relationship between Čapek's writing and paintings is also important, therefore the thesis examines whether his painting activity somehow reflected in or even directly influenced his literary works. The whole thesis is divided into eight chapters, by which we suggest to structure also whole Josef Čapek's literary work itself into eight periods and areas. Bibliography, mapping published first editions of his texts, reception and reflection of his literary works, paintings and his own personality, is also important part of the thesis.

Komponovaná krajina Františka Josefa Schlika a "krajinotvorba" kolem roku 1700 / Landscape Composition of Count Frantisek Josef Schlik and the "Landscape Creation" around the Year 1700

Rychnová, Lucie January 2016 (has links)
This thesis describes the landscape composition of Czech Count Frantisek Josef Slik (Frantz Joseph Schlik, 1656-1740) and attempts to define the influences and principles which were involved in the formation of the landscape in the manors of Kopidlno, Stare Hrady and Velis- Voksice, now in the Czech Republic, during the life of the aristocrat. Frantisek Josef Schlik ruled the manors for over 60 years and during that time he was responsible for many architectural works with considerable landscape-forming and urbanistic potential. A series of visually interlinked chapels was erected in the Velis-Voksice manor. This series included the meierhof with a little palace in Voksice. This landscape composition has been discussed especially as regards its formal design, but its connection to the Count's motivation has been less well researched, as has been the broader social and, especially, religious context in the area. Another aspect that has been put aside, or not perceived within the context of the manorial landscape, were other structures which Frantisek Josef Schlik built or which were of essential importance for the activities in the manor. These structures, meierhofs, were also significant landscape components. This dissertation first attempts to provide a biography of Frantisek Josef Schlik,...

This study showed the importance granted to memory, in 1929-1930, which allowed using it as a key concept for the understanding of a major change that happened to Wittgenstein s philosophy in the early thirties (the abandonment of the thesis of the complete determination of sense). The understanding of this abandonment, through the perspective of the analyses of time, taking memory as a key concept, was used as a backdrop for the comprehension of some important passages from the book Philosophical Investigations, in which Wittgenstein deals with the problem of the language of sense-data and private experience.

Dětský hrdina v mezní situaci / Child´s Hero in an Extreme Situation

KLACKOVÁ, Jana January 2010 (has links)
This dissertation is devoted to the topic of Child{\crq}s hero in an extreme situation inspired predominantly by the Czech literature of the 1950{\crq}s and 1960{\crq}s. The essential material for my work was works of the following Czech authors: Arnošt Lustig, Karol Sidon, Josef Fuks, Jan Otčenášek, Ludvík Aškenazy a J.R.Pick. Besides them I also used books by the French writer Romain Rolland which I compared to the Czech works. The dissertation is divided into two parts. In the first part I devote myself to the concept of extreme situation itself. I try to define this concept from the point of view of psychology as well as to show its concrete manifestation in individual works. The second part deals with interpretations of the works in the framework of which I explore the issue of an extreme situation.

Piaristický řád v Čechách a jejich vzdělávací metody / The Piarist Order in Bohemia and their Educational Methods

Janušová, Martina January 2017 (has links)
The Piarist Order was established in Rome by St. Joseph Calasanz. Early after establishing, the order was invited to Czech lands. First, they were introduced to Mikulov (1631) and more colleges were established in Moravia. First college established in Bohemia was in Litomyšl. Piarists were not introduced to Prague until 1752 with contribution from a historian Gelasius Dobner. J. Calasanz dedicated his life to help his neighbours, primarily poor children. For these children, he established primary schools where trivium (reading, writing, counting) was taught. Upbringing and education were the most important to J. Calasanz which is why he wrote several publications on how to conduct schools. Over the course of time, Piarists opened gymnasiums and higher-education schools. The concept of gymnasiums was inspired by Ratio studiorum, a document published by the Jesuits.
