ANALYSIS OF MARKETING COMMUNICATIONS BK LOKOMOTIVA KARLOVY VARY SPORTS CLUB Objectives: The aim of this work is to analyze the current state of marketing communication with the audience and sponsors for women's basketball club BK Lokomotiva Karlovy Vary and propose a strategy for improving marketing communications. Methods: In this thesis were performed using the methods of observation and personal interviews examined subjects Results: An analysis of marketing communication club, thanks to which it was found that it is not good enough, and some elements of marketing communication is missing. Based on these findings, suggestions were made and recommendations for improvement of marketing. The designs were created, so that feasible and beneficial to the club. Title: The Competition among major fitness clubs in region Prague Goals: The objective of the thesis is to analyze and compare clientele of Prague's major fitness clubs and to acquire proper data to characterize the customer base in Prague. Results from this research will lead to characterization of competitiveness in the field and recommendations will be proposed to clubs. Methods: The research was completed by both quantitative and qualitative methods. Data were required by questionnaire given to current customers of chosen clubs and by interviews with sales managers from those clubs. Results: Results confirmed assumption about intense competition on the market with providers of fitness services in fitness clubs. The importance of the right targeting was shown as well as the relevancy of the location of the club, because clubs have a tendency to contact potential customers who live or work in an area nearby a club. Title: Use of grants for development of the field hockey sports club Slavia Praha Objectives: The main purpose of this thesis was to set up preferred goals for the field hockey sports club Slavia Praha to ensure its successfull development, with an emphasis on the use of grants provided by the City of Prague. Another goal is to create a list of available grant programs for sports clubs in Prague. Methods: Two analysis methods were applied in this study. The first one was based on the analysis of the documents related to the application for available grants. Thanks to this method the overview of the available grants opportunities was created. The second method was SWOT analysis regarding the field hockey sports club Slavia Praha which contributed to the setting up of new partial and strategic task for the positive development of the club. Results: The field hockey sports club in Prague, which own or long term lease the sports real properties, can apply to the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports for grants. The other field hockey sports clubs can apply for grants of the Prague City Hall or its town disctricts. The goal of this diploma thesis is to evaluate economic situation of football club, which plays Czech football league (third higher football league in Czech Republic). The club is FK Spartak MAS Sezimovo Ústí in the legal form of joint stock company and civil association. The evaluation of economic situation is based on analysis of sport product at first, then there are applied methods and tools of financial analysis. These instruments make it possible to comprehensively assess the financial health of the company. The biggest benefit I see in this paper in describing and analyzing the economic situation of the football club playing the third-highest football competition in Czech Republic, because until now I did not find any study that deal with this issue.

Theoretical part shows the transition from traditional to contemporary professional sports financing with focusing on differences between european and american model. European union's attitude towards the problematics of professional sport is presented as well. Practital part of the thesis looks over the economics of professional football clubs in Europe. Revenues, expenditures and financing of the clubs are all examined in this part. Finally, thesis analyzes the potential threats to football clubs and provides with suggested regulatory actions.

In this part we can find a theoretical description of the company profile as well as external and internal analysis which determines the company strategy and describes the financial plan. The practical part follows the theoretical part which means that it applies the theoretical knowledge on to praxis. In the conclusion the author makes comments on the key questions determining the contents of the plan, summarizes other knowledge and outcome resulting from the work and finally decides if it is possible to realize the business plan.

Explore whether the environment of sport is so specific to their properties, that is better able to succeed in bad economic times than other sectors. The first part will focus and outlines the theoretical basis for the neoclassical theory of the firm, and behavioral. The thesis mentions specific features of sport companies (clubs) and diversification of their revenues and it analyzes what's the position of sport in the state budget and how much influence the sport industry has on economic performance. The analytical part will focuses on selected sport clubs. Based on information obtained it analyzes the changes in the structure of revenues and expenditures over the past few years and evaluate how much sport clubs were affected by the decline in economic cycle or not.

Both born in 1930, Hálek and Třebická were members of the original Činoherní Klub (Drama Club) company fiounded in prague in 1965 who through their craft, especially in ground - breaking works by Ladislav Smoček, Alena Vostrá and PAvel landovský, helped determine the shape of modern Czech drama, which in the late 60s and early 70s came to be admired and acclaimed throughout Europe.
