Vliv fanoušků na regulaci fotbalových profesionálních klubů / The Influence of Fans on the Regulation of Professional Football Clubs

The environment of professional football clubs has undergone numerous and considerable changes recently. The changes in ownership structure above else have brought the goals of investors - club owners into conflict with expectations of soccer fans and even jeopardized the survival of professional soccer clubs. The dissatisfaction of football fans has led to attempts to regulate clubs and give the fans a share in the management of the clubs. This dissertation attempts to analyze the conflict between ownership and fans and offers possible solutions. The core of the dissertation is an analysis of the influence of football fans on the sport and the ways in which they may use their economic leverage to participate in the management of clubs. Recently, fans have become more prominent as stakeholders in professional football clubs with the development of the supporters trusts in the British Isles and continental Europe. The dissertation analyzes the regulation tools of Financial Fair Play (FFP), and Supporters' Liaison Officer (SLO), created by the UEFA. It investigates the broader application of these and other regulatory tools for the sport. It offers a model for the measurement of value of fan support to a club. Research conclusions based on a survey of Czech fans are also included and added by recommendations that arise from them.

The thesis describes historical development of barter clubs/LETS, theoretically analyzes the barter clubs/LETS as full-fledged payment systems standing on an equal footing as any other form of market organization. Project of the thesis also includes results of a survey which approached individuals as well as legal entities operating in the Czech Republic.

The main part of the thesis is a detailed overview of fundraising for running a sports club, from grant programs from private sponsors and membership fees. After evaluating the revenue is followed by an overview of the cost of a comprehensive evaluation of the financial cycle in the sports club.

The diploma thesis deals with the tourism in the Bohemian Paradise, the emphasis is on the town of Turnov that is regarded with its neighbourhood as a tourist centre of the region. The thesis describes the last third of the 19th century and the period before the First World War. The first part of the work focuses on the phenomena associated with the development of modern tourism in the observed region, such as the growing sector of services, the advent of railways or tourist organization. This section also includes chapter on the genesis of the name Bohemian Paradise (Český ráj). The other part of the thesis analyses the town Turnov and its surroundings. After a brief introduction, the thesis studies technical and material base that the town offered to the incoming visitors. The attention is turned to accommodation and catering services, summer apartments or local guide services. The main part describes the activities of the local department of the Czech Tourist Club. Horizontal load bearing ceiling constructions are designed from an prestressed ceiling panels Spiroll. Foundations are designed reinforced concrete.
