The methodology for investigation of drug-related crime is the topic of this thesis. There are a few reasons why I have chosen this topic. The issue of drugs, drug-related crime, drug addiction and also illegal drug traffic has become recently the worldwide problem which intervenes into many areas of human life and therefore we must constantly pay attention to it. Especially this fact, together with other reasons as my personal connection with drug issue (few-year-long involvement in the program focused on the primary prevention from drugs at secondary schools) made me to choose this topic. My thesis is divided into 6 parts. In the first two chapters I define the general notions related to the drug issue and I provide with the division of drugs into groups under chosen criteria. For the better orientation in this issue I have listed the most common types of drugs with the description of their effect on the organism of humans. In the third part of my thesis I focus on the criminal prosecution of drug offences and the historical development of the legal regulation of this issue. The main purpose of the thesis is a specification of so called COMPUTER or so called CYBERNETIC CRIMINALITY. The term itself could be defined in a restricted as well as in an extensive way. This thesis attempts to achieve a medium definition reflecting both these extremes. The thesis is divided into five chapters. Each chapter describes particular group of wrongful conducts. The crucial criteria for cathegorizing are similar features common to all these types of wrongful conduct. Each wrongful conduct is characterized by a detailed description of particular offense, its standard course and its legal assessment in accordance with the Criminal Act No. 40/2009 Collection of Laws, as amended by furher legislation. The first chapter deals with offences against computers and computer systems - in other words, offences against the data stored within the system or transmitted inside them. It mainly focuses on unauthorized and illegal interventions into data integrity, unauthorized and illegal penetrations into computer systems and attempts to restrict the availability of computer systems for particular time periods. The theme of this thesis is "Violent Crime and its Prevention". The violence can be seen everywhere, in the family, in school, at work or in the streets. Every day the media inform the public about violent crime. Is it true that the violence increases in our society or is it only a report interesting for the media? The purpose of this study is the answer this question. The thesis is composed of seven chapters and a number of subchapters. The first and introductory chapter defines basic terminology used in the thesis, for example criminology, criminality, violent crime, aggression and violence. Criminal and criminological aspects of ransomware spreading Abstract This diploma thesis deals with issues of ransomware spreading and examines certain criminal and criminological aspects of this cybercrime phenomenon. Ransomware is malware that encrypts, blocks or prevents access to the computer system or data in a computer system. In connection to this, it demands monetary or other ransom. This diploma thesis firstly describes ransomware from the point of view of its function and technical aspects, including its history, categorization of its variations and description of several notable infection examples, namely WannaCry, Petya, DoubleLocker and Vir Policie. Following section describes possible criminal qualifications according to Czech substantive criminal law, including the consideration of specifics of different ransomware variations and potential development of this criminal aktivity. Violent Crime and its Prevention Abstract This thesis should provide basic analysis of violent crime in general and main concepts which are needed to know when studying violent crime. Although it is difficult to completely describe whole question of violent crime in a scope of this thesis I would like to give at least a kind of introduction for understanding what is in fact violent crime and how we can deal with it. This thesis is primarily theoretical but contains also examples for a more comprehensive understanding of the issue. My thesis is composed of seven chapters. First chapter represents a brief introduction with basic definitions related to the topic. Second chapter is devoted to perpetrators of violent crimes, how they can be classified, what are their characteristics and by the end, to the psychological profiling which can be useful in cases of unknown perpetrator. The aim of my thesis is disclosing reasons of delinquency from the view of the offender. In the first chapter I focused on basic terms such as what is criminology, criminality, and what defines an offender. In the second chapter I summarized the relevant criminological theories. The next chapter is about typologies of offenders. The fourth chapter, I pay attention to the term "personality", it's structure, term BASIC ID and the motivation of delinquency. The last chapter deals with juvenile criminality, which increased exponentially after the Velvet Revolution in 1989.
