České podoby Franze Kafky před druhou světovou válkou / Czech Faces of Franz Kafka before World War II

Soukup, Jiří January 2018 (has links)
The present study focuses on the analysis of the changes of Franz Kafka's reception in the Czech context before World War II, i. e. on the analysis of Czech translations and critical reflections in Czech language of his works. The study is divided into two symmetrical (in time) parts: the first one focuses on Kafka's reception in his lifetime (1909-1922), the second one on the reception after his death (1924-1939). In the first part, translations of Kafka's office publications are analyzed in the context of their origin, Kafka's part (as an author) in the formation of the original texts as a source for their translation and set in the context of his belletristic works; in the prosopographically oriented analysis the aim is further focused on the reception of Kafka's belletristic texts in his lifetime and on different strategies of translation by authors who translated his texts into Czech during his lifetime (Milena Jesenská, Milena Illová, Jaroslav Dohnal), Kafka's responses and how they are reflected in his work. The analysis in the second part is structured mainly according to the tendencies of reception whose focus shifts gradually from expressionist to surrealistic interpretations; the analysis of gradual changes of Kafka's image in the Czech press which reflects the changing reception of his...

Kritika monismu v díle Karla Statečného / The Critique of Monism in the Work of Karel Statečný

Vejvoda, Michal January 2015 (has links)
Summary: Kritika monismu v díle Karla Statečného The Critique of Monism in the Work of Karel Statečný Michal Vejvoda The dissertation, ''The Critique of Monism in the work of Karel Statečný'', has led to a systematic point view on the issue of monism and its outline in Karel Statečný's work. It was found out, that Karel Statečný discerned a danger in this point of view, not only for the Church and the Christianity, but also for the whole society. The biggest danger of the monistic teaching lies in the fact, that the monistic principle is based on human nature. Karel Statečný realizes, that monistic tendency is deeply rooted in human nature, and thus is also objectively correct. With regards to Karel Statečný's analysis on monistic teaching, was discerned its danger to human religious sentiments, particularly in ethics: emptying of religion, in the case of removing of the element the personal God. Further on was found out, that monistical issues elaborated by Karel Statečný, speaks also today, because this monistic tendency is natural to human thinking. Pantheism - a belief in impersonal God, is also widespread, and this have a connection with spiritual instability and empty ethics. Therefore, the study of former monistic endeavors, may be useful to contemporary theology, theological philosophy and ethics....

Jaunas ir senas žmogus Antano Vienuolio smulkiojoje prozoje / YOUNG AND THE OLD MAN IN ANTANAS VIENUOLIS SMALL PROSE

Mingailaitė, Lina 02 September 2010 (has links)
Bakalauro darbo tyrimo objektas – Antano Vienuolio smulkioji proza. [toliau žr. visą tekstą] / The object of bachelor thesis analysis – Antanas Vienuolis small prose. There are analysys of texts: „Grįžo“ (1908), „Išdukterė“ (1945), „Astronomas Šmukštaras“ (1950), „Samdinė Alena“ (1953), „Vėžys“. The problem of analysis is that the most Antanas Vienuolis prose were studying on soviet period. Soviet critics noticed important aspects, major insight and worthy of research questions. But most of soviet criticism are allready aged and are not topical. The other reason – there is a new position to authors prose changed by three decades. There are noted new angles, new problematic in Antanas Vienuolis works. It is important to analyse authors prose by new look, to go to the text, being independent from soviet canons. There are used tyrimo methods like analysis, interpretation and descriptive. The aim of bachelor thesis – to explore young and the old man representation in Antanas Vienuolis small prose. Tasks: explore how youth and old age portrayed opposite in author‘s works. Distinguish young and old man differences and similarities, describe the functions of the narrator under his age. The focus on Antanas Vienuolis texts were found in the new study materials: observed the changing role of the author, works of poetry and the semantic relationship, new interpretations of characters pictures. Critical ethics: transvaluation and critique of morality by Spinoza, Nietzsche and Badiou / Kritinė etika: moralės kritika bei pervertinimas pagal Spinozą, Nietzche ir Badiou

Patkauskas, Justas 06 June 2011 (has links)
This thesis argues the need for a critique of foundational values which are often taken to be unquestionable. Values and evaluations inform the decision-making of human individuals on a daily basis on all possible levels – the local, the national, the international, and the global. Yet for all the importance of values, their origin, functioning and effects are rarely brought to light. This paper opposes critique as a creative and genealogical endeavour against shallow conformist analyses that serve the established status quo. With the aid of Nietzsche’s philosophy, in its first part this paper establishes an outline of how a proper critique would look. The proposed method of critique – a transvaluation which seeks to determine the origin of values in order to interpret them in a novel and more affirmative fashion – is then applied via the philosophy of Spinoza in the second part of the thesis wherein the origin of values is questioned. The third part employs the philosophy of Badiou both to bring back the critique to a more modern footing and to juxtapose Badiou to Spinozist and Nietzschean transvaluations. This part also paves the way for a concluding comparative section where the key features of the three philosophers are contrasted regarding the foundational values which where perpetually criticized throughout the thesis. The overall purpose of the paper is to explore the possibility of an alternative method of critique to the seemingly dominant modern opposition... [to full text] / Šis darbas teigia, jog reikia užsiimti kritika pamatinių vertybių, kurios dažnai yra laikomos nekvestionuojamomis.

Jevtić Nevena 07 April 2016 (has links)

Feministická a literární publicistika Pavly Moudré / Feminism and Literary Criticism in Pavla Moudrá's Journalism

Słowik, Olga January 2014 (has links)
The thesis concentrates on the literary and feminist articles of Pavla Moudrá, which she published in the journals Ženská revue, Ženské listy, Ženský obzor and Ženský svět. An important part of the diploma is a complete bibliography of her texts issued in these periodicals. The analysis concentrates then mainly on articles connected to literature and "the woman question". It describes the author's opinions in their relationship with the peace movement, animal welfare, the anti-alcoholic movement and spiritualism. In all of these areas, she was involved as a promoter of spiritual values, leading to the spiritual revival of mankind, and for this purpose she also subordinated her journalism. She tried to thematise particular social problems, indicative of the decline of human morality, as well as writing more general texts, more metaphorical and strongly inspired by the theosophical movement. It influenced the way she perceived literature: she valued mainly the author's intention, which should be able to offer a positive example for the reader. She considered a poet, meaning a writer and an artist in general, to be a creature standing close to God and having the ability to see more than the average person. Also, a woman was, according to Moudrá, close to God: this relationship was given by the...
