Hranice a vztah k jejímu okolí / Boundary and relationship to its surroundings

Linhart, Tomáš January 2015 (has links)
Linhart, T: The borderline and the relationship to its surroundings. [Diploma thesis] Praha 2015 Charles University, Faculty of Education, Department of Art Education, 71 p. (Attachments on CD: 2 illustration attachments). The diploma thesis features a theoretical study on the background of the author's own artwork. The text interprets the borderline as a horizon that would emerge and vanish. It presents the author's own artistic grasp of the theme in context of selected trends in fine arts. Author seeks to define the boundary of fine arts and art education to establish a foundation to his own pedagogic determination. He shows what theoretical frameworks take part on shaping his own professional direction. The didactic part looks at select situations from the author's teaching practice that already took place and reflects them in context of author's other pedagogic experience. The accomplishment and utility of the work lie in a description and interpretation of select situations from practice of a fledgling teacher and an educational complex, field tested, intended for gymnasium students.

Paasikivi a Kekkonen - silné postavení finských prezidentů pod vlivem SSSR / Paasikivi and Kekkonen - a strong position of Finnish presidents under the influence of the USSR

Placák, Václav January 2018 (has links)
Diploma thesis "Paasikivi and Kekkonen - a strong position of Finnish presidents under the influence of the USSR" examines the assumptions of the prestigious position of these presidents in Finnish politics. The underlying issue is the influence of the Soviet Union on the Paasikivi's and Kekkonen's policies. The theoretical premise of the thesis is the inclusion of Finnish among so-called semi-presidential systems. The Finnish Constitution of 1919 provided the President with considerable powers, for example making him a major figure for the foreign policy of the state. However, the arrival of Paasikivi and after him Kekkonen to the presidential office led to the strengthening of the presidential office. The personality of these politicians and their political vision, experience and practices had also a significant impact on this fact. Paasikivi and Kekkonen's policies were, however, very much connected with the friendship with the Soviets, so it is possible to monitor the Soviet influence on the position of Finnish presidents within the Finnish political system.

Vliv akalabrutinibu a ibrutinibu na účinek daunorubicinu v nádorových buňkách. / The effect of acalabrutinib and ibrutinib on the efficacy of daunorubicin in cancer cells.

Čermáková, Lucie January 2020 (has links)
Charles University Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové Department of Biochemical Sciences Candidate: Bc. Lucie Čermáková Supervisor: RNDr. Eva Novotná, Ph.D. Title of diploma thesis: The effect of acalabrutinib and ibrutinib on the efficacy of daunorubicin in cancer cells Leukemia presents malignant diseases of hematopoiesis, which essence is the malignant transformation of a hematopoietic stem cell at various levels of maturation and increased proliferative activity. Chemotherapy is the gold standard in the treatment of leukemia. One of the many treatments is the use of anthracycline chemotherapeutics, especially daunorubicin (DAU). Anthracyclines are widely used in clinical practice but have high cardiotoxic effects that limit their dosage. One of the main causes of side effects is the reduction of an anthracycline chemotherapeutic to the appropriate toxic metabolite, which accumulates in the heart. Carbonyl, reducing enzymes from the superfamily aldo-ketoreductase (AKR), and short-chain dehydrogenase/reductase (SDR) are involved in this reduction. At the same time, carbonyl reducing enzymes, has been shown to be involved in the mechanisms that cause tumor cells to be resistant to anthracyclines, thereby reducing the inhibition of the growth of these cells. In the diploma thesis we found that...

Role DISP3 v malignanci meduloblastomové buněčné linii / Role of DISP3 in malignancy of medulloblastoma cell line

Jarošová, Šárka January 2020 (has links)
In the search for new genes that are regulated by thyroid hormone, DISP3, a new member of the SSD (sterol-sensing domain) protein family, has been identified. Expression analysis showed that DISP3 is expressed in cells of neural origin, and our previous results indicate that overexpression of this gene affects cell proliferation and differentiation. Oncomine database analysis also showed that DISP3 expression is increased in medulloblastomas, the most common malignancies of the central nervous system in children. The subject of this diploma thesis is studying the effect of increased DISP3 levels on cell apoptosis and cell ability to form a colony. Cell lines derived from medulloblastomas were used in the work. We compared the expression levels of the DISP3 gene in different medulloblastoma lines by quantitative PCR and selected a line with low expression of this gene for further experiments. Some medulloblastoma cell lines can form neurospheres when cultured in serum-free medium. Using quantitative PCR, we compared the expression levels of neural markers in cells cultured both as neurospheres and as adherent cells. By transfecting cells with a plasmid overexpressing DISP3, we prepared cells with increased levels of this gene. We induced apoptosis by radiation at different doses. Apoptosis was...

Daktyloskopie - historie, současnost a budoucnost / Dactylography - past, present and future

Zapletalová, Karolína January 2019 (has links)
The aim of this thesis is to comprehensively analyze and describe one of the oldest methods of individual identification of individuals, which originates in ancient civilizations and consists of identifying a person on the basis of unique drawings of his papillary terrain. The dactyloscopy will be viewed primarily from a criminalistic perspective, although the text also deals with its expansion and use in other areas of human life. This is also a current trend, whose tendencies can be expected in the future. The thesis is divided into three basic chapters - history, present, future, which will gradually summarize the whole issue of this established forensic science. The text is supplemented with pictures and photographs with regard to practical use of this method. The first part of the thesis deals with the history of dactyloscopy from the discovery of papillary lines by ancient cultures to the gradual introduction of scientific approach to this discipline, either from physiological point of view or later from the criminalistic point of view. The text focuses mainly on important personalities who have helped to develop dactyloscopy and put it into practice. At the end of this part, the historical background and the development of the doctrine of papillary lines in the Czech Republic are also...

Využití isogenních linií barevné pšenice v pokusech s laboratorními potkany

Hadincová, Tereza January 2018 (has links)
A feed test was carried out on male “Vistar” rats. Four groups of rats, feed with mixtures with 70 % of wheat, differing in grain colour, were compared. For feed trials, near-isogenic lines of derived or recipient varieties of “Novosibirskaya 67” (N67) were selected. These were the N67 grains with white grains, “ANK-28A” with purple grains (Pp1 and Pp2 genes), “ANK-28B” (Pp1 and Pp3) and “Aoi Yu” (unfinished near-isogenic line) with blue aleurone (Ba1 gene). Feed mixtures were standardized to the same nutrient content. The feed trial lasted 72 days. Time increments and biochemical parameters of the blood were evaluated. Statistical differences in glucose (GLU), triglycerol (TG) and total protein (CB) levels were noted in biochemical parameters, with a higher GLU content in N67 and “Aoi Yu”. Higher TG content was recorded in “ANK-28B” and lower in “ANK-28A”. The higher CB content in rat blood was recorded in “Aoi Yu” and lower for all remaining wheat. No statistically significant differences were found in other biochemical parameters of blood (P<0.05). Interestingly, a higher feed consumption per pound was observed in the wheat mix with white grain (N67) and the lowest in “Aoi Yu” with the highest content of anthocyanins. This result is in line with the results of some other authors who have shown a relation between the high anthocyanin content in the feed and the reduced weight additions of laboratory animals.

Teorie politického spektra / Theory of Political Spectrum

Bonuš, Věnek January 2020 (has links)
Theory of Political Spectrum Proposed New Model of Political Spectrum in the Context of Political Changes Caused by Globalisation Major political changes are happening across Europe and the world during the second decade of the 21 century, represented by the collapse of traditional party systems or Brexit. Current models of political spectrum cannot convincingly explain these changes. In my thesis, I propose a new model of political spectrum which reflects contemporary political changes and contributes to their explanation. Main innovation of the model is the inclusion of political conflict based on globalisation. In the first part of the thesis, I describe historic and modern models of political spectrum including the well-known political compass. I analyse them, critically assess them and form general methodological requirements, which should be met by functional models of political spectrum. In the second part of the thesis, I integrate cleavage theory into the theory of political spectrum. Cleavage theory addresses the most salient political conflicts in political systems. Furthermore, I describe the decline of traditional cleavages and changes in party systems. I dedicate most of my attention to a new cleavage caused by globalisation, described as transnational cleavage. In the third part of the...

Politické strany na pomezí civilizací / Party Politics in Intercivilisational Encounters : The Modernity Cleavage

Šimral, Vít January 2013 (has links)
PhDr. Vít Šimral, LL.B. (Hons) Party Politics in Intercivilisational Encounters: The Modernity Cleavage Abstract The thesis presents an extension of the Lipset - Rokkan model of cleavage-based party politics. It employs concepts of civilisational analysis, particularly the concept of multiple modernities as devised by Shmuel Eisenstadt, to describe the emergence of anti-Western fundamental movements in Russia and Egypt at the start of the 20th century. The introductory chapter discusses the existing literature and recent trends in mainstream studies of party politics, noting particularly the divergence between research into Western and non-Western political parties. The second chapter focuses on the Rokkanian branch of party studies and the use of the cleavage concept outside the political region of Western Europe. In the third chapter, the concept of 'modernity cleavage' is presented, based on theoretical assumptions common both to the Rokkanian agenda and to civilisational analysis. The fourth and fifth chapters deal with the empirical analysis of two cases, the Russian Communists and Egyptian Muslim Brothers, respectively, with the goal to extract findings from presented historical data through a basic-level comparative and ground-theoretical approach. In the final chapter, the thesis is concluded with a...

Regulace finančních trhů a úloha compliance v rámci České republiky / Financial market regulation and role of compliance in the Czech Republic

Panocha, Tomáš January 2022 (has links)
1 Abstract Financial market regulation and tole of compliance function in the Czech Republic The topic of this diploma thesis is the evaluation of the current legislative regulation of financial markets in the Czech Republic, the principles of their regulation and related supervision. The next part of the work is devoted to the complex characteristics of the compliance function and the concept of corporate governance inextricably linked with it. The subject of the compliance function is comprehensively analysed in the work to define its scope and the regulations by which it is defined. Although the compliance function is present in many areas of business activities, this work is focused primarily on financial markets and specifically on banking. The first part of the thesis describes the characteristics of financial markets, the need for their regulation and supervision. The second part contains an analysis of legislative and non-legislative regulation of financial markets, both at the national, international and European Union level. Special attention is paid to the CNB and its efforts to mediate legal binding for non-legislative acts and the associated analysis of their enforceability. The third part of the thesis defines the content and activities of the compliance and corporate governance functions,...

Studium cytotoxicity látek in vitro / Study on cytotoxicity of compounds in vitro.

Vašková, Lucie January 2021 (has links)
Charles University Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology Studentka: Lucie Vašková Školitel: RNDr. Jana Maixnerová, Ph.D. Název diplomové práce: Study on cytotoxicity of compounds in vitro The subject of this diploma thesis was to assess the effect of newly synthesized antimycobacterial substances on the viability of human hepatocellular carcinoma (HepG2) cells. The tested substances were esters (HE-nMe, HE-4PHOPH, HE-KARVA, HE-2NAFT, HE-METRO, HE-CH2PY, HE-8CHIN) and thioesters (HES-4H, HES- nETH) of antituberculotic isoniazid. Experiments performed with these substances have shown, that like isoniazid, the substances inhibit InhA enzyme in mycobacteria and therefore interfere with cell wall biosynthesis. Isoniazid is a drug standardly used in the first line of TB treatment. Together with other first-line antituberculotics, some hepatotoxic potential has been reported during treatment. To assess the possible cytotoxic effect of the tested isoniazid derivatives, the standard human hepatocyte cell line HepG2 was chosen as the cell model. Cell viability was assessed by a colorimetric method that measures the metabolic activity of cells based on the reduction of the tetrazolium compound MTS. Obtained values were quantitatively compared using the toxicological...
