Infiltrationsstråk byggs längs med gator i bostadsområden och har som uppgift att ta upp dagvattnet från vägbanan. Lösningen har fungerat fram tills idag då det har upptäckts att infiltrationsförmågan stegvis har försämrats med tiden. Examensarbetet har som syfte att undersöka uppbyggnaden samt analysera innehållet hos infiltrationsstråken. Arbetet grundas på fältundersökningar av befintliga infiltrationsstråk inom Växjö tätort. På platserna görs provtagning, analysering och utvärdering.

Superplasticerarens påverkan och ballastskillnader på betong med krossad betong som ballast : En experimentell studie om tryckhållfasthet, konsistens och fraktionsfördelningSelander, Carl January 2020 (has links)
Detta examensarbete är baserat på experimentella studier med avsikten att studera skillnaden som uppstår vid användning av superplasticerare på betong med krossad betong samt makadam och sand som ballast, med avseende på arbetbarhet, konsistens samt tryckhållfasthet. Fraktionsfördelningen kommer även analyseras på den krossade betongen i jämförelse med makadamen och sanden. Det utformades fyra olika blandningar där första blandningen var utan superplasticerare och hade makadam som ballast, andra blandningen innehöll superplasticerare samt makadam som ballast, den tredje blandningen var utan superplasticerare och hade krossad betong som ballast, den fjärde blandningen innehöll superplasticerare och hade krossad betong som ballast. Betongens arbetbarhet uppskattades på samtliga blandningar innan konsistensen mättes. Konsistensen mättes i form av sättmått med hjälp av en sättkon. Sedan tillverkades fyra provkroppar av varje blandning där tryckhållfastheten testades. Resultaten som erhållits visade att superplasticerare var mer effektiv på blandningarna med makadam. Betongens arbetbarhet och konsistens förändrades endast marginellt, dock ökade tryckhållfastheten med 28,7 och 23,8% för blandningarna med makadam respektive krossad betong som ballast. Den krossade betongen visade på bra fraktionsfördelning men skiljde sig någorlunda från makadamen, den stora skillnaden fanns i de finare fraktionsstorlekarna. / This thesis is based on experimental studies with the intention of determine the efficiency of Superplasticizer in concrete made with recycled concrete aggregate compared with macadam in terms of workability, consistency and compressice strength. The fraction distribution will also be analysed on the recycled concrete aggregate compared to the macadam. Four different mix designs was made in which the first mix was without superplasticizer and had macadam as aggregates, the second mix contained superplasticizer and also had macadam as aggregates, the third mix was without superplasticizer and had recycled concrete aggregate, the fourth mix contained superplasticizer also had recycled concrete aggregates. The workability of was estimated on all mix designs before the consistency was measured. The slump of all mix designs was measured to determine the consistency. Then four specimens were made from each mixture on which the compressive strength was tested. The results obtained showed that superplasticizers were more effective on the mixtures with macadam as their aggregates. The workability and consistency only changed slightly, the compressive strength increased by 28.7 respectively 23.8% for mixtures with macadam and recycled concrete aggregates. The recycled concrete aggregates showed good fraction distribution but differed quite a bit from the sand and the macadam, the big difference was in the finer fractions.

Purpose: The building industry has a big environmental impact. The timber construction can reduce the impact of the industry because timber is an environmentally friendly material. One of the biggest problems with lightweight construction is sound insulation. The aim of this report is to study two floor construction with different sound insulation materials from an environmental perspective. The materials that will be studied in this report are sand and macadam. The aim of the report is to create a clear comparison between these floor layers and to suggest an improvement proposal. Method: The methods that have been used in the report are literature studies, life-cycle assessment, document analysis and interview. The LCA, document analysis and literature studies are the starting point, based on these methods, the first two questions in this paper will be answered. Using the interview was able to conduct information for the last question. Findings: This study has shown that sand has a less environmental impact than what macadam has. The improvement proposal that has been suggested in this study is using sawdust with sand as sound insulations layer. Decreasing the amount of sand in floors can have a positive effect on the environment. Implications: As a conclusion of this paper, it is proven that sand as a sound insulation material is more favorable for the environment than the macadam. The reason is caused by the process of extracting macadam. The process is more complicated and more energy demanding. Another conclusion is that reducing the amount of sand and replacing the missing amount with sawdust can reduce the environmental impact and increase the sound insulation ability. A recommendation for similar papers more abilities could be included in the analysis to provide a more including and fair result. Limitations: This paper is limited to investigate sound insulation materials combined with CLT-slabs exclusively. The methods which have been used provided relevant data to help this paper create conclusions. The goal was to create an all-around answer so that the result could be applicable in other analysis. Experimentální navrhování asfaltových směsí / Experimental design of asphalt mixturesNěmec, Jan January 2016 (has links)
The diploma thesis is focused on an experimental design of low-noise asphalt mixtures. The theoretical part describes the problems of noise and methods for noise measurements. There are also specified the characteristics of various low-noise asphalt mixtures. The practical part addresses the experimental design of SMA 8 LA. Subsequently, the mixture is exposed to functional testing and the results are afterwards compared with the conventional type of stone mastix asphalt SMA 8 S. The second part is focused primarily on an experimental mixture design of a specific asphalt mixture type - coated macadam. There is especially solved the issue ofbinder drainage and the proportion of cracked grains during the compaction. The advantage of this mixture is the lower price demands cause by lower binder content and a smaller amount of fine aggregate. This mixture should be used as a base layer for low-loaded (traffic) roads. In the conclusion are thereafter evaluated the knowledge and the experience with the testing and designing of individual mixtures gained during the testing.
