Realizace strategie CSR v českém podnikatelském prostředí

The aim of this dissertation is the corporate social responsibility of small and medium businesses in the Czech Republic. It is based on a primary research con-ducted by a questionnaire survey of 477 respondents. Gathered data display that 52% of businesses perform CSR activities, with a potential increase of 17% on av-erage. Spearman's correlation coefficient shows a statistically significant (but low) positive correlation between CSR activities and business performance.

A study of financial sustainability factors of the SMEs in Ghana: A case study of Techiman municipality in the Brong Ahafo region

How to achieve financial sustainability is an enduring problem facing SMEs. This study examines four factors (public relations, networking, organizational culture and authentic leadership,) likely to explain the variation in SMEs ' financial sustainability. The study aimed to assess the funding patterns available to SMEs in the municipality of Techiman, Ghana. In terms of financial sustainability, following statistical work on data from selected SMEs in Techiman,72 survey findings show that public relations and authentic leadership account for 19.6% of the variance. The study found 17.4% account for public relations and authentic leadership respectively and 11.1% authentic leadership. Further analysis on ANOVA showed that 3 of the variables (networking, organizational culture, and sustainable growth rate) showed a difference in the organizational culture, networking and sustainable growth rate when grouped by location-based SMEs. The study suggests that SMEs need to use public relations matrices and genuine leadership to pursue financial sustainability. The above will do much better if they also adapt and work with the organizational culture of the Along Roadside organizations, the networking of organizations other than Outskirt of the market and the financial prudence that leads to the financial sustainability of organizations within the market. Managing change is based on Lewin’s model of change management in this work. The practical part will comprise two sections one of which will be devoted to the mentioned methodology of the strategy change management process and the latter to the application of the methodology to a particular company intending to change its current strategy.

The thesis deals with identification of barriers and risks of internationalization process using questionnaire survey. On that basis the maps of risks and barriers are created. To obtain sufficient information about analyzed problem the thesis is complemented by in-depth interviews that make a contribution to the identification of barriers of international trade, to the determination of the subsequent measures and to the fullfimlent of the objectives of this thesis.

The first, theoretical part, defines small and middle enterprise, also regional politics and program periods, where Czech Republic has taken its part at. Finally the general procedure og gaining grant is depicted. The second part, the practical one, contains, the introduction of concrete enterpreneurial subject and subject of investment, to which it requires support by meansof grants from EU depozits. Detailed enterpreneurial interision is described later, that is the basic part of the whole process. It creates the subctantial part of the thesis. Later, each step when gaining grants is being described there.

At the beginning of the 21st century it becomes more obvious that the established free market economics systems, even nowadays perceived as universal models, collide with the ecological boundaries imposed by the Earth’s biosphere. Protection of the living environment is also the topic of this thesis. This doctoral thesis presents the research results of investments made to protect the natural environment. The work focuses on the Czech Republic-based manufacturing industry. The doctoral thesis covers the following objectives: • Czech legislation and related information of the living environment protection are processed, confronted and evaluated in the analytical part of the work. This part also features a description of used Macro-economical approaches followed by an evaluation of externality quantification. The work even describes new trends in the implementation of Environmental Managerial Systems. This part presents basic procedures to assess the manufacturers’ environment protection investments. Strong and weak aspects of specific approaches are emphasized. • The environmental investments evaluation methods for the selected manufacturing companies are identified in the practical part of the doctoral thesis based on the primary data sources supported qualified research. Suitable criteria-meeting rating methods are selected, based on the statistical evaluation of multi factorial analysis. Furthermore, the work evaluates the influence and significance of environment protecting investments on the corporate goals. The final part of the work features a critical review of the discovered facts with suggested advanced procedures for the environmental protection investments evaluation.

The presented thesis deals with a specific definition of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the Czech Republic. It evaluates the status of SMEs in the Czech economy in terms of their position in raising funds, especially from the banking sector in order to ensure stability and growth. The thesis deals with the explanation of basic concepts and categories in the field of business in the theoretical part, the position of SMEs in the economy, their development, contribute to the economic stability of the country and the impact on employment. There is also a support concept in the years 2014 - 2020 characterized by the thesis. Impacts of the economic crisis on SMEs and intervention by the Government of the Czech Republic are mentioned as well. Financing options are presented in detail. The practical part is devoted to a financial analysis of the selected company, evaluation of resulting indicators and determination of conditions for granting business loans. Recommendations for the chosen company are presented in the conclusion part, with regard to their situation within the issue of financing potential investment in fixed assets.

Furthermore, the diploma thesis contains a SWOT analysis of IFRS for SMEs and number of recommendations.
