The topic of my dissertation work is The Competition Analysis of company Stroje a Mechanismy, a.s. As the main goal, that I staked, is to gather as many relevant information as possible about the issue, closely analyze the company and compare it with their main competitors. I´ll try to suggest several tips how to improve the situation and how to increase competitiveness based on my competition analysis. I choose this topic, because I think that the one of the most important thing for modern company is to actively checking competitors, assimilate them, and always be a one step ahead, and as a delivery company could be an attractive partner for its customers.

The diploma paper is in early part mainly focus on marketing, marketing research and possibility of marketing development in the field. During theoretical part thesis is working with specific problems of marketing in spa and hotel industry. Following chapter is talking mainly about charakteristic of specific spa hotel, its desciption, effects of environment, marketing strategy and competition analysis. Point of primary resaearch is analysis of customer satisfaciton survey during years 2008-2009 and comparing results with data form survey in 2004-2007. Base of this research, the last part of paper is suggesting several solutions in order to increase of parity of the spa hotel in upcomming years.

I concentrate myself on the results, which are realized by research made by copany Incoma, to improve the situation and position of the Konzum and Association of czech and moravian retail chains in the keen competition on the czech market because of the foreign retail chains.

By the way of retails, APPLE DAILY succeeded to break the marketing channel which monopolized by three newspapers for a long time. Its brand new layout and content not only brought lots of fun to local readers but caused the reorganization of newspaper industry in Taiwan. Under the impact of APPLE DAILY, the newspaper industry faced the competition from the same business. Moreover, the whole market became atrophy. It had posed serious threat to the newspaper industry.Therefore, the market was called “the new competition age of newspaper industry” in the thesis. In view of six representative senior newspaper jobholders, the researcher will carry on the depth interview separately from marketing environment, channel state, channel control, promotion strategy as well as the future challenge of newspaper industry and so on. Simultaneously, the researcher would unify the information collected by his participation and observation. The thesis would take the “Place” in 4P of Marketing Theories for the main axle to study the marketing channel state and conducts taken by the four newspaper agents in Taichung. Finally, the thesis constructed the marketing strategy which would be able to adopt in the future.
