Vytváření jednotného trhu práce v EU / The creation of the single labour market in the EU

Perglerová, Eliška January 2013 (has links)
In my thesis I deal with the question of how the activities of the EURES network helps to create a single labour market in the EU. I focus on the migration and labour mobility, because this is the main factor why the EURES network exists. Furthermore, I describe the activities of EURES and its development including previous SEDOC networks. In the thesis I analyse whether the reform of the EURES is successful and I also analyse activities of EURES advisers based on the results from questionnaire.

Rural-urban migration in Ghana: A case study of selected migrants from Tamale municapilty in Kumasi metropolis

Asante, Benjamin Owusu January 2019 (has links)
Studies have shown that rural-urban migrants migrate to search for employment opportunities in urban areas. Development disparities between the rural areas of Ghana and urban centres remain an issue of grave concern since independence. Undoubtedly, this situation resulted in seasonal and sometimes permanent migration of young people from rural areas to the urban-centres. Though the rural-urban migration in the country has received much scholarly attention concerning the causes and patterns of these movements, it is yet to be critically examined in terms of its causes, effects and problems encountered by migrants. The main objective of the study was to identify factors that contribute to rural-urban migration in the Kumasi Metropolis in the Ashanti Region of Ghana. Data were collected from 30 migrants in Kumasi, Ghana, using an interview guide. The results show that the reasons for migration are mostly economic and are linked to unemployment, low incomes, lack of rural job opportunities, climate change and worsening living conditions in the rural areas. Migrants mostly engage in informal activities in the city because of their low levels of formal education. The study recommends that the development gap between the rural areas and the urban areas of the country be bridged to limit migration

Debata o právní úpravě nelegální migrace v České republice a ve Spolkové republice Německo / The debate on illegal migration legislation in the Czech Republic and Federal Republic of Germany

Brehmerová, Martina January 2007 (has links)
Tématem práce je fenomén nelegální migrace, a to v Česku a Německu, dvou sousedních zemích a členských státech Evropské unie. Konkrétně práce zpracovává debatu o právní úpravě fenoménu nelegální migrace, tedy návrhy a postoje jednotlivých aktérů zapojených do diskuze o stávajících i chybějících právních normách upravujících oblast nelegální migrace v Česku a Německu.

Vnitřní migrace v ČR / Internal Migration in the Czech Republic

Krejníková, Linda January 2011 (has links)
This work explains the prevailing trends of internal migration in the Czech Republic, which have a major impact on the population and the overall development of individual regions. In the analysis of some key phenomena of internal migration, there have been formulated and tested four hypotheses, which were supplemented by more detailed analysis of population data. The results of hypothesis testing indicate that in the Czech Republic: (1) dominated internal migration from rural to urban than in the opposite direction, which means that they are manifested desurbanization processes; (2) total internal migration before 1989 was different than after this year; (3) are not all regions equally attractive to migrants; (4) internal migration does not meet certain defined conditions of the selectivity of migration.

Charles University in Prague Faculty of Social Sciences Institute of Political Studies Bc. Kenneth C. Stein Viktor Orbán's National Hungarian Identity Construct: Securitization of the 2015/2016 European Migrant Crisis as Existential Threat? Diplomová Práce Praha 2017 Autor práce: Bc. Kenneth C. Stein Vedoucí práce: PhDr. Vít Střitecký M. Phil., PhD. Oponent práce: Datum obhajoby: 2017 Hodnocení: Abstract: The current paper examines Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán's speech acts based on the preface that his language communicates political will, power, and serves as an outline for potential future political avenues. Orbán has been one of the most outspoken critics of the European Union's failure to adequately address the ongoing migrant crisis, as well as Europe's immigration issues. The aim of the thesis is to examine the language tools utilized by Orbán according to securitization theory. Utilizing elements of Wodak's Critical Discourse Analysis in combination with Tajfel and Turner's Social Identity Theory, the thesis provides analysis of the texts through the lens of Orbán's creation of a national Hungarian social identity construct as referent object being securitized against the migrant threat. Moreover, the thesis provides an overall analysis of Orbán's brand of Hungarian social identity...

Použití bioscannerů a videotechniky při studiu migrací ryb / Application of bioscanners and videotechnique for studies of fish migration

Porš, Jaroslav January 2015 (has links)
In recent years there has been a significant decrease in abundance and species diversity of migrating fish. A significant decrease was recorded especially in diadromous fish species such as Atlantic salmon (Salmo salar) and eel (Anquilla anquilla). A significant population decline was also observed in potamodromous abundant fish species. Transverse barrier which prevents fish migration in rivers and impaired water quality are considered as the main causes of this situation. At present there is being improved a surface water quality, habitat rehabilitation and restoration of the possibility of free migration of aquatic animals. Design and construction of fish ladders are the most important factors to improve conditions of the fish migration. Closely related to this is a migration permeability testing of these fish ladders while the biological function and the activity of a single technical solution is evaluated. A non-invasive automatic monitoring method using a bioscanner Riverwatcher was selected to assess the functionality of fish passage on the river Ohře in Kynšperk nad Ohří. Bio scanner was installed at the end of the track of fish passage. Riverwatcher camera system, a product of Vaki Aquaculture Systems Ltd., was used in the Czech Republic for the very first time. Direct catches of fish samples in the river using an electric unit (section under fishway) were also used for the data collection. Size and species selectivity was tested at the fish ladder. The influence of external factors affecting the course of migration, such as flow rate, water temperature and light, was monitored at the same time.

Diferencovanost demografického vývoje v regionech ČR / Differencies of demographic development in CR

Pavlík, Jonáš January 2016 (has links)
This thesis analyze demographic development in several regions in years 1993 - 2014. The thesis describes the differences in demographic behavior between populations in this regions. Comparison is based on indicators of birth rate, mortality rate, marriage rate, divorce rate and migration. First part is focused on theoretic description of demographic indicators nad methods which are used in statistical analysis. The second part contains the analysis itself based on the dates gained from Český statistický úřad. Prognosis of future development was calculated for indicators of marriage rate and divorce rate.
