Villemin, Virginie 17 December 2018 (has links)
First and foremost the economical migration about Moroccan, Tunisian, Algerian is the items of various studies in France. Nonetheless the contrary is not much approach same if the migration France-Maghreb increase among pensioners. It s rational choice to come up to the senior. This thesis take place to reverse these migratory flows all migration accept area economy and the reference society juste as much the news society. Last but no least, this thesis is sociologie ask the border between the research and the producer.

Assessing the limiting factors for re-introduction of sockeye salmon to the Coquitlam Water Supply Area

Stuart, Scott 15 June 2010 (has links)
Prior to the construction of the dams, migrating salmonid species accessed the upper reaches of the Capilano, Seymour, and Coquitlam watersheds as an integral part of their natural lifecycle. There are multiple initiatives being undertaken by BC Hydro and the stakeholders to re-introduce sockeye salmon (Oncorhynchus nerka) to one of their natural habitat in the upper Coquitlam watershed. Concerns have been raised that the restoration may be in conflict with the drinking water mandate of Metro Vancouver’s watershed management policies. The research objective of this project was to investigate and assess the social, economic, and environmental aspects of restoring an extirpated sockeye salmon population. Through an exploratory case-study approach, the research concluded that the existing fish passage constraints and reliance upon re-anadromy to restore the population are limiting factors in sustaining the Coquitlam Reservoir sockeye.

Non-migrating tides in the Martian thermosphere

Kumar, Aishwarya S. 02 August 2018 (has links)
Previous studies have identified longitudinal structures associated with non-migrating tides in observations of the upper neutral atmosphere of Mars. MAVEN’s Imaging Ultraviolet Spectrometer (IUVS) observations of the upper atmosphere reveal variations in density with longitude at altitudes of 130 – 200 km, and can be used to identify non-migrating tides. These observations cover higher latitudes and allow for studying the local time variations of tides. The analysis presented here shows that the longitudinal structure attributed to non-migrating tides is dominated by wavenumber 2 and wavenumber 3 harmonics during the periods studied. Comparison with the Neutral Ion and Gas Mass spectrometer (NGIMS) shows a good agreement in wave amplitudes observed for the first two cases studied. The temperatures and 𝑂/𝐶𝑂# ratios from the IUVS L2 data files revealed an anti-correlation with the densities which confirms the theoretical interpretation from the linear wave theory. / Master of Science / There are waves internal to all fluids in our surroundings and daily lives, such as sound waves. Waves in the atmosphere are also fluid in nature. In planetary atmospheres, the scale sizes of some of these waves become comparable to the size of the planet itself. The waves interact with the structure of the surface of Mars to form a certain type of wave called “Non-migrating tides”. These waves have been observed in multiple previous studies in the upper atmosphere of Mars (~130 km and above). These waves cause the atomic and molecular content of the upper atmosphere to be displaced in a particular manner to form a unique structure. The structures formed are observed on a scale that covers the entire planet. It is by studying these structures in the upper atmosphere that it is possible to characterize the waves that control them and thereby understand their nature and impact. Understanding how these waves vary helps spacecraft to gain better control over mechanisms required to swing them into the desired orbit (location). This study uses the observations from an instrument aboard the MAVEN mission and compares it to the observations from another instrument aboard the same mission. The results of this study demonstrate that these “Non-migrating” tides play a vital role in controlling the behavior of the upper atmosphere.

No. of bitstreams: 1 ANEXOS Dissertacao.pdf: 241054 bytes, checksum: 20c1db33dd5d4f15e95f36f0ae939abf (MD5) Previous issue date: 2006-12-11 / Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior / The text presents an attempt of translation of the moments lived starting from the research that investigates the nets of woven you know-do and shared by the migrating students in the daily of a municipal public school of São Roque of Canaan, looking for to problematize the marks left in the accomplished curricula, before the multiples life space-times and of the established relationships with the contexts of the daily of those students. It appears for the need of problematizing such marks that are configured as tracks left in your actions in the curricula, expressing know, you do, feelings, cultures, languages, ideas, movements and they are placed for in addition it is allowed. They concern the to be-do forms, to the daily of life, to the cultural manifestations and, a lot of times, they constitute to the school a threat to the instituted, being silenced, excluded, marginalized. He/she/you tries to discuss a little of that that happens in the daily, of the experiences lived by the students that move for long distances for us to be at the school, with all the c, fears, fatigues and utopias that your daily courses demand. He/she/you assumes the characters of the research as " hybrid " subjects that inhabit the among-places, establishing negotiation practices and translation and leaving your marks through actions and uncontrollable experiences, in movements unable of fixation. It accomplishes the investigation with the daily and it uses methodological roads of qualitative character, with base in the studies ethnographic. It uses as procedures for collection of the data participant observation, glimpses intensive and analysis of documents, besides other resources, as: filming, picture, recording and field diary. He/she/you emphasizes that the curriculum would be accomplished in the daily relationships, with change manifestations, negotiation and in the several practices that involve to can, speech and creation of meanings. It still believes in the possibility of producing other-new movements in the accomplished curricula, that consider the differences among the subjects; the identities placed in displacement processes and escape; the manifestations and cultural articulations.

A Proposal for a Series of Studies to Explore the Phenomenon of the International Migration of Indonesian Nurses

Elison, Nila Kusumawati 16 May 2014 (has links)
On January 1st, 2014, Indonesia began implementing universal health coverage. Despite the fact that the density of human resources for health (HRH) is far lower than the International Labor Organization’s benchmark, the Indonesian government is ambitiously committed to providing equal, quality, and extended healthcare services to an estimated population of 257.5 million people by 2019 without putting them in financial hardship. In addition, the government expects to ensure a minimum of 85% of the health recipients is satisfied with attained healthcare services. With respect to nurses, the massive international migration of qualified and motivated Indonesian nurses that has taken place over the last decade is alleged to be one of the factors responsible for the low density. However, at this point, very little publicly available information exists that comprehensively displays the phenomenon. As such, to help stakeholders understand the phenomenon, mitigate the recurrence of massive international migration of Indonesian nurses, and make relevant data-driven HRH policies, a proposal for a series of studies to reveal the phenomenon of the international migration of Indonesian nurses is developed. An 18-month research project with various sampling methods, research instruments, and research methods will be conducted to explore four main international nursing migration issues from multiple study populations. The study populations include migrating and returning Indonesian nurses, nursing organizations both in Indonesia and in four foreign countries, local recruitment agencies, two government agencies in Indonesia, and several Indonesian embassies overseas.

Vícekriteriální optimalizace elektromagnetických struktur založená na samoorganiující se migraci / Multiobjective optimization of electromagnetic structures based on self-organizing migration

Kadlec, Petr January 2012 (has links)

Contribuições para uma teoria da discriminação nas relações de trabalho / Contributions to a theory on discrimination in work relationships

Lima, Firmino Alves 01 June 2010 (has links)
The main objective of the study is to uncover and examine the principal elements found in discriminatory conduct in work relationships, as a foundation of a theory of work relation discrimination. This thesis extracted concepts and antidiscrimination principles by identifying and studying the components of discriminatory practices. The investigations conclusions were based on both general and labor antidiscrimination law. The study begins with a search for the origins of the expression discrimination, in its pejorative sense, as illicit differentiated treatment. Later, it evaluates the meaning and scope of the duty of equal treatment, as well as it demonstrates the outstanding nature of the antidiscrimination norms. Next, in the study, the identification of components of discriminatory practices is done through a detailed examination of their main characteristics. The most interesting, doctrinaire, normative and jurisprudential concepts are presented in the same manner, which are related to work discrimination as well as to the most common discriminatory modalities. Some labor antidiscrimination principles, both material and procedural, result from the concepts here presented. Finally, the complex and preoccupying situation of the discrimination practiced against migrating workers is addressed, in light of the fact that this is a modality of discrimination which has become ever more difficult to combat. As a final conclusion of this study, a concept of discriminatory practice is proposed in work relations.
