Plan de negocios para lanzamiento de una empresa intermediaria de información entre fabricantes y minoristas del sector tecnología

Rengifo Guerra, Rannur, La Rosa Liebminger, Eduardo Antonio 13 September 2019 (has links)
This present work is a business plan. Its aim is to present a solution to leverage the current opportunity within the communication between technology manufacturers and reseller market. There are many gaps in this communication, mainly because the large number of companies operating on the market, which provide various commercial and technical information about their products and services that are being permanently changing and / or constantly updating. There is clearly an interest of the manufacturers to improve communication problems and the reseller market dissatisfaction in the way they receive the information, as reflected in surveys carried out in the market research. A service integrating information of each brand in one place will help to improve and optimize the manufacturer's communication management with the reseller market. Therefore, as a value proposition, an online membership subscription service for technology manufacturers will be offered to corporate retail market, through a free of charge mobile application (App) that provides prompt, up-to-day and secure commercial information of each brand. In addition, this tool (App) will seek to support the increase in sales and margins of technology manufacturers, wholesalers and reseller market. Finally, we expect a return with a Net Present Value (NPV) of S/ 508,536.54 soles and an Internal Rate of Return (IRR) of 51.17% is expected. / Trabajo de investigación

Augmented Reality Approach for Marker-based Human Posture Measurement on Smartphones

Basiratzadeh, Shahin 30 September 2019 (has links)
Quantifying human posture and range of motion remains challenging due to the need for specific technologies, time for data collection and analysis, and space requirements. The demand for affordable and accessible human body position measurement requires alternative methods that cost less, are portable, and provide similar accuracy to expensive multi-camera systems. This thesis developed and evaluated a novel augmented reality mobile app for human posture measurement to bring marker-based body segment measurement to the point of patient contact. The augmented reality app provides live video of the person being measured, AprilTag2 fiducial markers locations in the video, processes marker data, and calculates angles and distances between markers. Results demonstrated that the mobile app can identify, track, and measure angles and distances between AprilTag2 markers attached to a human body in real-time with millimetre accuracy, thereby allowing researchers and clinicians to quantify posture measurements anywhere, at anytime.

Mobilapplikation för taxibeställning : Att ta taxibeställningar till nästa steg / Mobile application for ordering taxi : To take taxi ordering to the next level

Fält, Daniel January 2012 (has links)
This report is going to be focusing on the development of a promotion page and login system for the web production company Adoreyou. The promotion page and login will be parts of a new taxi application for iPhone that lets the customer book a taxi and drivers manage the requests from the customers. Taxi application’s that let customer’s book trips are nothing new but they are constantly being explored and developed. The most common practice is to let the customer fill in from what address he or she wants to be picked up and to where he or she wants to be taken. Then the price is set in the application depending on the distance and most likely other factors like weekday and time. Some of them do not have functionalities such as being able to choose which type of car you want to order or managing payments from the app itself. This taxi app will be developed to take it to the next level and utilize GPS to locate cars close to the customers. The promotion page will be constructed in HTML and CSS. The login system will be constructed in the PHP framework Codeigniter and connected to Parse.com through an API. The project has been using the so called waterfall model to develop the promotion page and the login system. The model has been used throughout the project and each stage was been checked with the project manager on Adoreyou before the next stage was initialized.

Smartphone Apps on the Mobile Web: An Exploratory Case Study of Business Models

Ford, Caroline Morgan 05 May 2012 (has links)
The purpose of this research is to explore the business strategies of a firm seeking to develop and profitably market a mobile smartphone application to understand how small, digital entrepreneurships may build sustainable business models given substantial market barriers. Through a detailed examination of one firm’s process to try to commercialize their mobile app, we identify various business model decisions and marketing strategy approaches that hindered the company’s efforts. The case study describes two distinctly different business models adopted in succession, as well as the various adjustments the firm makes to its target market, distribution and pricing approach that led to their current strategy. This research looks closely at business-to-business-to-consumer distribution arrangement for mobile apps and in doing so challenges the rising positive bias that exists for the app store as the dominant actor in the mobile value chain. For practice, this paper suggests unanticipated hurdles small digital entrepreneurs may face if they rely heavily on mobile advertising and the app store to launch and sustain their business.

”Andra kan tydligen se var man är” : En studie om hur lokaliseringsteknik påverkar användning och beteende hos datormobilanvändare / “Apparently, others can see where you’re at” : A study on how the location-recognition technology affects the behavior of smartphone users

Steindorsdottir, Rebekka, von Feilitzen-Roos, Veronica January 2011 (has links)
The use of GPS technology has during the last couple of years made significant progress. Today GPS is a standard function in modern cellphones. The GPS function in the cellphones enables tracking and is also one of the fundamental building stones in many smartphone applications. This essay investigates how users are affected by the GPS function in modern smartphones. Technology is always changing, smartphones and GPS are no exceptions. During the last year the sales and usage of smartphones has increased significantly. As the Internet gets more and more available and people have the possibility to go online with their mobile phones, the usage of smartphone applications also have increased. As of this, applications are now a well-known concept. Many applications need location data in order to function. It’s the smartphones GPS-functionality, built in to whatever application that provides data for positioning. Different social media provides users with their location, which can be used in status updates. A question that often comes up is about the personal integrity and monitoring that follows with GPS tracking. In this essay smartphone users share their comments about the technology. The primary advantages and disadvantages are discussed in proportions to each other.

Supporting Backpackers Needs and Travel Experiences : Design implications for communication technology

Helenius, Jessica January 2012 (has links)
Our society is becoming more restless and mobile, a symbol for this mobility are the backpackers. Backpackers are found everywhere in the world and represent a form of low-cost independent travellers. To experience as much as possible, seems to be a very important issue for backpackers and they have that as a motivation during their travels. Backpackers have been described as ”experiences hungry”. The term experiences, is today being used a lot in the tourism industry. To be able to predict what an experience is, can be hard and the term is hard to define. Mobile technologies are also becoming a permanent part of the our society. Communication technology are something that backpackers use more and more during their travels. This thesis identifies knowledge and design implications for a mobile application to support backpacker´s need when travelling and how backpackers define the notion of travel experiences. The result of the thesis have calumniated in a mobile application prototype that coul contribute in letting backpackers get more out of there journey. This in an interactive and social way, by giving backpackers the opportunity to be social towards each-other share information through a social medium. As the thesis have shown that backpackers wants to meet others on there journey and experience the world.

CHALLENGING PERSUASIVE PRINCIPLES IN MOBILE APPLICATIONS

Larsson, Emma January 2015 (has links)
This thesis focuses on persuasion and how principles of persuasion embedded within mobile health applications are there to promote attitude and behavioral change. It includes a background in rhetoric; beginning with the Aristotelian method for persuasion, then stretching on to psychological rhetoric, and finally how the Aristotelian methods have worked its way into everyday society, especially in marketing and games. The thesis then benefits from the rhetoric background as it explores Dr. BJ Fogg’s model of behavior as well as his principles of persuasion. An analysis of the mobile health application “My Fitness Pal” is made. After which the principles are transferred into a mockup designed to fit another context, namely education. This to challenge the authors hypothesis, that the same principles of persuasion used to promote and persuade the user to do a physical activity, can also be used to persuade a user to study.
