This diploma thesis is about renumeration employees in the context of motivation, evaluation and benefits applied in a financial institucion, as one of possible ways of motivating them. Motivation is the moving power of any human activity and if an employer wishes to maintain high performance of his employees, he needs to be concerned with multitude of different ways of motivating and stimulating them. Complexity of processes is that, people have different needs, goals and ways of reaching them and this results in considerable complexity of motivational process. The theoretical part is anchored aspects and rules, including an analysis of contemporary remuneration. Furthermore, the paper deals with the comparison of contemporary and proposed method of remuneration. In the final part of the thesis is applied to a specific strategy of a new method of remuneration based on the survey.

The main subject of this master’s thesis is motivation of employees in company DCom s. r. o. This company is dealing with wireless communication technologies development and production. The primary goal is to analyze company’s motivation tools and to improve them. The thesis is divided into three parts. First part contains the theory, which is connected to motivation. In the next part is the company DCom s. r. o. shortly introduced and after that are the motivation tools analyzed. The analysis was realized by using the questionnaire. The last part describes a suggestion for the motivation tools improvement.

Title of diploma thesis: Role of Motivation for Physical Activity in Treatment of Addictions Abstract: Motivation for a healthy habit in the form of physical activity may be beneficial for patients seeking abstinence. Physical activity take part of the treatment program and can improve the overall prognosis of treatment. It can improve an individual's psyche and prevent potentially harmful habits associated with drug abuse. The aim of this study was to determine the motivation of patients for physical activity during three-month treatment at the Department of Addictology in Prague. The research group consisted of 72 patients in standard 3-months inpatient treatment. Following measures were used for data collection: 1) Behavioural Regulation in Exercise Questionnaire (BREQ-2) and Personality Inventory for DSM-5 (PID- 5); 2) anthropometrics; 3) body composition data from "InBody 230"; 4) training diaries. According to the results, 72 % of patients were treated with alcohol dependence. Excellent internal consistency values of the PID-5 facets and satisfactory to good internal consistency values of BREQ-2 on the item level were obtained. Significant correlations of the PID-5 facets and domains of the BREQ-2 confirm criterion validity in terms of motivation. Type of motivation significantly varies according type...

This thesis focuses on motivation for volunteering in the humanitarian and development project Czech hospital in Itibo, Kenya, which operates under the patronage of Adra, o. p. s. The thesis selects main motivations leading to the decision for volunteering in Africa. The qualitative research is based on the VFI (Volunteer Function Inventory) theory and inquires into the motivations of doctors, medical students and the founder of the project, Aleš Bárta. Data collection method consist of an interview and the analysis of the pre-departure essay of medical students. But the aim of the thesis is to describe not only the motivations which are a part of the VFI theory, but also those not defined by VFI.

The first part of the work is focused on a clear summary of basic knowledge about adult education and motivation. This part introduces concepts such as lifelong learning, adult education in the Czech Republic and at Czech universities, the master's program Management of Education, types and basic theories of motivation and motivation of adults to learn. The second part of the thesis contains a description of the methodology and the results of the survey. The survey is based on semi-structured interviews with students studying in the master's degree program Educational Management at the faculty of education at Charles University. The interviews focus on what motivated adults to study in the master's degree program, why they chose the Education Management program, what is their current motivation to learn, what benefits of studying they perceive, what barriers they perceive during their studies and what plans they have after graduation. The evaluation of experiences of interns at the Czech representations abroad

The diploma thesis deals with the evaluation of the experience of interns at Czech representative offices. The thesis is divided into two parts. The first part is devoted to the definition of diplomacy, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the history of the Czech international policy, the organizational structure of the Ministry and foreign offices. Also, the practical part of the thesis includes statistical data of the course of internships at foreign offices, which were primarily obtained from the employees of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. An illustrative example of how to apply for an internship and the necessary post-admission documentation is also included in this work. The second part is focused on both the research methodology and the research part itself. The data were obtained from interviews with former foreign office trainees. The aim of the empirical part is to find the reason and motivation to choose a traineeship, overall assessment of traineeships and the impact of traineeships on future working life.
