The aim of this master thesis is to describe and analyze motivation and remuneration process in the spin-off enterprise of Siemens, based in Mohelnice. The theoretical part includes the definitions of basic terms in this field. The practical part deals with the company mentioned above and the analysis of its motivation and remuneration process. The output of this thesis lies in the findings of examination how the current motivational tools of the company work and how much the employees are satisfied with it. I provide the list of suggestions for improvement of the process with aim to increase the employees’ satisfaction in the conclusion.

Diploma thesis “Proposal of the Remuneration in the Company Zevos Ltd.” focuses on developing of new company wage control system targeting on higher motivation of employees leading to further company development. The aim of theoretical part of the thesis was to collect and study the theoretical knowledge in the area of wage systems and systems of remuneration based on existing technical literature. This theoretical knowledge was applied on present wage system in the company. The second part introduces the company itself and last part, the practical one, is divided into two parts - the analytical one and the proposal one. By using of the method of comparison of the theory with the analytics of current status some reserves in motivation function of the wage system was found and the proposals for improvement was done. This proposal is based on implementation of tariff system supplemented by personal remuneration and bonus system. The result of the thesis is a proposal of new wage system for Zevos Ltd.

The aim of this thesis is to uncover possible weaknesses in the company's motivation system and propose recommendations to improve the current situation. In the first part I combine theoretical knowledge concerning the issue of motivation, evaluation and rewarding of employees. In the second part I introduce the company, analyze the present system of motivation, evaluation and rewarding employees that the company uses and perform questionnaire survey. From the survey results, along with theoretical knowledge I will point out any shortcomings or errors and suggest recommendations that will contribute to improving the current situation.

This paper deals with the issue of gamification and its implementation in the Charles University Information System, by focusing on students. It describes the principles of gamification in relation to user needs. Furthermore, it analyses the process of consciousness, motivation, volition and flow. This paper presents personality typologies in the context of motivation and game elements. It works with Myers-Briggs types and Keirsey's temperaments. It contains a ranking of gamification elements that is based on the level of motivation in relation to personalities. It evaluates the educational system in the Czech Republic from the point of view of the use of gamification elements and focus on different types of personalities. The main part of the thesis creates a concept of the implementation of gamification elements in the Charles University Information System and gamification of a thesis. [Author abstract].

Title: The effects of extreme physical and mental stress on the human body Goals: The main goal of this work was to evaluate the effect of physical stress load in a five-kilometer-long race in cross-country skiing on physical and mental functions of high school students. Methods: The investigated group consisted of 10 boys of the average age of 16 years. To evaluate their level of physical fitness and circulatory responses during cross-country stress, the maximal treadmill stress test was used. Circulatory response before, during, and after the race was monitored by a Sport-tester. To evaluate the mental background and the actual condition under the stress load, standardized questionnaires on ability to cross-country skiing, stress management strategy, degree of physical discomfort and current mental state were used. Results: The reference file tested by a stress test up to the maximum proved an above-average aerobic fitness. The extreme stress situation was a five-kilometer-long race in cross-country skiing. The results were processed and evaluated with a statistical and factual relevance. A number of correlations were made. Experimental part of this thesis consists of the application the correspondence seminars through the current communication media (e.g. web portal or social network), directly in secondary schools.
