Thesis „Motivation and evaluation of employees Komerční Banka a.s.“ is focused on motivation, evaluation and remuneration of employees. The aim of thesis is to propose changes that will result in improvement of the current situation in employee motivation. The theoretical part is based on findings of the literature which is aimed at employee motivation including evaluation and remuneration of employees. Beginning of the practical part describes the company and shows analysis of current situation of motivation. Next part is devoted to empirical investigation. Recommendations based on the analysis of the current state and resulsts of the empirical investigationwere designed for the enterprise.

The practical part contains results of a survey which was conducted at a selected bank. The result is feedback on the form of corporate culture as perceived by the clients themselves, compared with the ideas of the company management. Finally I verify the hypothesis and present a proposal of possible solutions which may help to resolve these shortcomings.

In the theoretical part, we show the concepts and theoretical principles which are necessary for processing the subsequent analytical part. In the analytical part of the work we will then present information about the Zerotin School of Music, and we will discuss the evaluation system and employee motivation. This thesis will conclude by making suggestions for improvements to existing procedures. The outcome of this work is to evaluate motivation and evaluation of staff at the Žerotín School of Music and make recommendations which will lead to employees being more satisfied and motivated.

The intention of the thesis is to uncover the inadequacies of the current system of motivation within the company and to propose recommendations which would lead to higher satisfaction, a rise in work morale and performance of the employees. The theoretical section marks out the basic terms in the field of human resources, motivation and stimulation of the work force. Ceska Zbrojovka a.s. is characterized in the analytical section and an analyses is carried out through a survey in the form of a questionnaire. The current situation is summarized according to the results and my own proposals for solutions on improving the system of motivation which will lead to the increase in employee satisfaction.
