The building of the monastery is located on the edge of the historic town of Prostejov. Currently unused and falling into disrepair. Work creates a new concept for functional use of the monastery and garden. The building opens up new entry from Vojáčkova Square. On the ground floor there is a function for the city's residents as a community center or gallery, pharmacy and smaller commercial areas. The rest of the object is dedicated to the center of multiple sclerosis. The facility is 27 beds, rooms for occupational therapy, physiotherapy. There's designed object of swimming pool and other facility needed for centre work . The area is a large garden for daily use patients and citizens.

Next generation sequencing is a modern method applied in plant virology for sensitive detection of previously characterized and novel pathogens without any preceding knowledge of them. In this study three novel and two already described viruses were detected by de novo assembly of Illumina single-end reads ( Hi-Seq 2500 system) from total poly(A) enriched RNA of diseased red clover (Trifolium pratense) and indicator plant (Nicotiana occidentalis 37B). The complete genomic sequence of novel Red clover carlavirus A (RCCA) was determined from Illumina reads, 5´, 3´ RACE, cloning, RT-PCR and Sanger sequencing. The presence of RCCV was also confirmed in mechanically inoculated tobacco plant.

The work is devoted to The Memorial of Master John Hus as his presupposed birthplace. The first part deals with the history of this monument, it brings the summary of proprietary relations and maps the care about this historical object and the looks of Hus{\crq}s house. It also deals with the honour to the personality of Master John Hus and its forms through the historical periods. There are the oldest mentions about this respect, some legends, celebrations and other forms of respect in various periods. The second part deals with contemporary effort of professional public which is aimed to preparation of a new expozition in the Memorial of Master john Hus in Husinec. This preparation started in 2004 - 2005 by means of professional lectures. Finally the work introduces the project The Restoration of the Birthplace of Master John Hus which reakts on professional discussions from previous years and which is the alternative solution of current renewal of actual expozition installed in 1975. There is also pictured enclosure prezenting previous and current looks of Hus{\crq}s birthplace.

The presented M.A. thesis pursues Jewish self-government in Bohemian towns and villages during the 17th and 18th centuries. Based on communal statutes of Jewish communities in Chodová Planá, Nové Sedliště, Rožmberk nad Vltavou, Rychnov nad Kněžnou and Tachov the study describes constitution of local self-government and agenda of communal officials. Even though the sources originate from communities scattered throughout Bohemia, we can find plenty of shared topics contained in the statutes. Thanks to this parallelism the study can outline common features of the Jewish self-government, of relation between Jewish communities and manorial lords and of everyday life in this communities.

This work is part of a project focused on the study of the variability of human cytomegalovirus (HCMV) among clinical isolates with the aim to map the geographical distribution of HCMV genotypes, reveal the relationships between genotypes and the severity of HCMV-associated diseases, and identify regions in the HCMV genome with a potential for use as diagnostic and therapeutic targets. Attention was paid to the development of the methodology for the preparation of the material for next-generation sequencing (NGS) from HCMV clinical isolates and evaluation of the obtained sequencing data. Blood and urine samples collected from hematopoietic stem cell transplantat recipients and congenitally infected children were analyzed. Samples suitable for NGS were sequenced by the Illumina platform and sequences were created by de novo assembly followed by mapping assembly. Urine samples in comparison to blood samples had higher yield of material for NGS. Of the samples positive for HCMV DNA (7 of 50) after amplification in the cell cultures, only one sample had high purity of the viral DNA (98%) while six samples had purity of less than 7%. Diploma thesis on the topic of New concepts and models of care for seniors in social service residential facilities is divided into theoretical and practical part. The initial three chapters are focused on problems of old age and ageing, needs of retired clients of social service residential facilities and concepts of long-term care for the elderly people in the Czech Republic. The fourth chapter forms a basic for this work. It describes selected approaches and models of the care that were applied mainly in western European countries and are being adopted by some of residential facilities in our country. The practical part of the thesis consists in quantitative research among social workers and staff of registered residential facilities. The aim of the questionnaire survey was to determine knowledge level of the individual concepts and models of care among employees and to find out to which extent the selected facilities apply new concepts and models in their everyday life. Because these new concepts and models emphasize an individual approach and constant improvement their application is considered a viral part of care for clients of old age. - 4 - ABSTRACT During the revision of epiphytic species of the Lecanora subfusca group in the Czech Republic, nine taxa have been recorded. L. cinereofusca and L. exspersa are reported for the first time from the country. L. circumborealis has been excluded from the list of Czech lichens. L. cinereofusca and L. horiza could be considered as extinct. L. rugosella and L. subrugosa are regarded as extreme morpholocial forms from L. chlarotera and L. argentata. These morphotypes corelate with ecological conditions: substrate (nutrient enriched bark) and habitat (eutrophisation effect). In case of L. subrugosa, this speculation was confirmed by molecular data (ITS rDNA sequences). Several new secondary metabolites have been discovered during the detailed research of chemical lichen compounds. These substances belonging to terpenoids are taxonomically important and very helpful for distinguishing single species. The abundance of L. allophana and L. chlarotera has decreased during last decades. Contrarily, L. pulicaris expanded slightly. The main reasons of changes in distribution are air pollution and acidification of substrates as the impact of acid rains. The aim of this diploma thesis is to explore the possible influence of the idea of the end of the world on the process of conquest and colonization of America. The author tries to answer this question through the study of selected images of the Last Judgment. The purpose aim of this thesis is not to describe or stylistically classify given works of art, but to interpret them using the methodology based on the semiotic conception of culture as public symbolical system that allows to interpret the culture and its expressions in their social connections. As the topic of this work is related to the question of death and finality, the chosen works of art are interpreted also in connection with A. van Gennep's idea of "rites of passage", which enables to pass from one life stage to another. The main source for analysis is the photographic material, which illustrates images and reliefs of the Last Judgment in their natural environment.

The graduation thesis is targeted at the issue of accounting methods for business combinations. The main goal of the thesis is to describe and compare tree basic accounting methods for business combinations -- purchase method, pooling of interests method and new entity method, especially in terms of the International Financial Reporting Standards and the U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. Essential part of the thesis is dedicated to the historical development of harmonization of business combination accounting. Changes in calculation of goodwill are also included.

The Purpose of the thesis is in the theoretical part to describe the complete marketing as a whole including marketing mix with a special focus on the new trends in the marketing having regard to the pharmaceutical industry. The practical part will be focussed to an aplication the new trends in marketing to the pharmaceutical industry with respect to the etic code and to the law in the Czech Republic.
