aproximadamente 17.000 m?.
No ASPSP registramos
microssismos prim?rios (PM) entre 0.04 - 0.12 Hz e microssismos secund?rios
(SM) entre 0.12 - 0.4 Hz durante 10 meses em 2012 e 2013. As an?lises
norte. Tamb?m ? mostrado que a maior parte do PM ? gerado no pr?prio
ASPSP.
clim?ticas e oceanogr?ficas no hemisf?rio norte. / Microseisms are continuous vibrations pervasively recorded in the mili Hertz to
1 Hz frequency range. These vibrations are mostly composed of Rayleigh
waves and are strongest in the 0.04 to 1 Hz frequency band. Their precise
source mechanisms are still a matter of debate but it is agreed that they are
related to atmospheric perturbations and ocean gravity waves. The Saint Peter
Saint Paul Archipelago (SPSPA) is located in the equatorial region of the
Atlantic Ocean about 1,100 km distant from the Brazilian northeastern coast.
The SPSPA is composed by a set of several small rocky formations with a total
area of approximately 17,000 m?. Due to its remote distance from the continent
and the lack of cultural noise, this location is a unique location for measuring
microseismic noise and to investigate its relation with some climate and
oceanographic variables. In the SPSPA we have recorded both primary
microseisms (PM) at 0.04 ? 0.12 Hz and the secondary microseisms (SM) at
0.12 ? 0.4 Hz during 10 months in 2012 and 2013. Our analysis indicates a
good correlation between the microseismic noise in the region and a seasonal
dependency. In particular, the winter in the northern hemisphere. We have also
shown that most of the PM is generated in the SPSPA itself. The SM source
location depends with the seasonal climatic and oceanographic variables in the
northern hemisphere

pesquisadores do grupo Discurso & Gram?tica (FURTADO DA CUNHA, BISPO, SILVA,
2013; MARTELOTTA, 2011).
fen?meno sob estudo.
subjetividade do redator e a quest?es intersubjetivas, envolvendo escrevente e leitor,
conforme Traugott e Dasher (2005).
We study the use of nominal suffixes of degree, such as -inho, -?o, -?ssimo, -?limo, -?rrimo in
written texts in Brazilian Portuguese, by focusing on semantic, cognitive, pragmatic and
discourse aspects involved in using these suffixes. In general, we aim to identify semanticcognitive
and discourse-pragmatic factors that motivate the usage of nominal suffixes of
degree and to contribute for the study of degree in Portuguese class in Basic Education. The
theoretical perspective underlying our research is the Lingu?stica Funcional Centrada no Uso,
as conceived by group of researchers of Discurso & Gram?tica (FURTADO DA CUNHA,
BISPO, SILVA, 2013; MARTELOTTA, 2011). According to this theoretical model, language
model uses the shape of the grammar of a language at the same time they are provisioned for
it. In this sense, speech and grammar influence each other. In terms of methodology, we make
an eminently qualitative research with quantitative support as evidence of use of trend. It is
characterized also by descriptive and interpretive bias of the phenomenon under study.
Empirical evidence from our analysis come from a corpus consisting of written texts from
Veja magazine, January to June 2011 issues, particularly Carta do Leitor e Gente sections, the
latter representative of the Coluna Social magazine. The results of our analysis showed that
the use of nominal graders suffixes are related to semantic-cognitive factors (construction of
certain text directions, the association more grounded aspects of concrete experience or the
more abstract meanings, for example), the discourse-pragmatic issues (range certain
communicative purposes, as critique, judge, mock, claim, involving the reader, seeking her
membership of a particular point of view). In addition, we found that the use of these morphic
elements in genres of the sample analyzed were related to the subjectivity of the writer and
the inter-subjective issues involving writer and reader, as Traugott and Dasher (2002). Finally,
we contemplate discussion about the approach of our object of study in Portuguese classes in
Basic Education.

Remote acoustic sensing has been used to investigate several aspects of cetacean ecology and behaviour as occurrence, population density and impacts of anthropogenic sounds on communication systems. Nonetheless, the efficiency of PAM methods depends on the ability of researchers to detect and interpret acoustic signals and therefore on baseline information about natural features of the target species?vocal behaviour. The coastal waters off the state of Santa Catarina, Brazil, are an important wintering ground for Southern right whales (Eubalaena australis). Right whales aggregates in this area year after year, between July and November and protection measures are due to ensure the safety and health of this population. Aiming to build the required knowledge to use PAM as a right whale conservation and research tool in Brazil,
the objective of the present study is to gather information concerning the acoustic ecology of right whale mother-calf pairs off Santa Catarina. Bottom-mounted archival acoustic recorders were deployed in two locations at the Right Whale APA during the wintering season. 1427 right whale calls with SNR? were classified in 7 call classes accordingly to visual and aural characteristics: upcall (55.8%), downcall (12.9%), down-up call (12.3%), tonal constant (10.1%), tonal variable (6.7%), hybrid (1.6%)and pulsive (0.6%). Mean values of start, end, maximum and minimum frequencies, frequency bandwidth, peak frequency and duration were calculated. Temporal pattern analysis revealed no significant diel trend in the emission of
contact calls (Kruskal-Wallis test chi-square=5.86, df=3, P=0.12). Results may be linked to the predominant behavioral of whale groups through the period of stay at the wintering area. Using synched surface-behavioral observations and acoustic recordings, calling rates were obtained and the use of call classes in different behavioral states was discussed. Callingrates (call/min) were associated with the activity level of mo/ca pairs, greater in interactions and bonding and lower during travelling and resting. No calls were attributed to diving or nursing pairs. Upcalls and down-upcalls calls were attributed to resting pairs as well as traveling pairs. Constant calls were detected when a pair was swimming toward the research boat and pulsive calls were detected in the presence of dolphins in close proximity to the dislocating focal group. Interestingly, mo/ca pairs spend 20% of the sampling time interacting with other pairs and the greatest diversity of calls was recorded during such events. Pulsive (12%) and hybrid calls (13%-exclusively recorded during mo/ca interactions) are characteristics of agonistic behavior between whales. When bonding, mother and/or calves produced exclusively upcalls. The adaptative significance of previously described calls in mother-calf pair ?s communication is similar to what has been described for other whale groups. This dissertation brings significant information that constitutes bases of right whale bioacoustics in Brazil, and therefore will be vital for the implementation of mitigation, monitoring and investigation tools based on acoustic principles. Moreover, it contributed to fulfil the lack of behavioural and acoustic data of mother-calf pairs a highly vulnerable and vital subgroup for all right whale populations.

In this study, we focus on the relativization strategies, in diachronic corpus of Brazilian Portuguese (BP). Generally speaking, we aim to investigate the use of the relative in a historical perspective on BP, focusing on semantic-cognitive and discursive-pragmatic motivations involved and the correlation with the discursive traditions. The theoretical perspective underlying our study is the North-American Functional Linguistics, inspired by Talmy Giv?n, Sandra Thompson, Paul Hopper, Joan Bybee, Elizabeth Traugott, Mario Martelotta, Angelica Furtado da Cunha, among others, combined with contributions of Discursive Traditions, based on authors such as Kabatek, Koch and Oesterreicher. As for the methodology, our research is eminently qualitative, in the sense that it seeks to elucidate semantic-cognitive and discursive-pragmatic motivations related to the use of relativization strategies in BP; and it has quantitative support, with respect to measurable data aspect and characterization of the object of study and its frequency of use. For this investigation, we use the corpora of the project Para a Hist?ria do Portugu?s Brasileiro (PHPB), more specifically, the particular, official, reader and redactor letters written between the eighteenth and twentieth centuries, from four states: Minas Gerais, Paran?, Pernambuco and Rio de Janeiro. The results of this research reveal the variation in relativization strategies, in view of the increase in the relativa cortadora (prepositional chopping strategy) percentage in the corpus of this investigation, even though the occurrence of this strategy is more restricted to private letters. In addition, we found factors of cognitive nature such as reduction in cognitive cost and economy related to the occurrence of that relative strategy, principally in private letters; aspects such as the need for expressiveness and clearness related to the use, even if infrequent, of the relativa copiadora (resumptive strategy), especially in official letters; and factors of communicative order such as the public sphere of circulation of the sample letters, as in the redactor and reader letters, and the gap between the parties most directly involved in the use of the standard relative of our sample.

Due to the lack of semantic descriptions of the Web services, service composition
becomes a difficult task. To solve this problem, Web services can exploit the use of ontologies
for the semantic definition of service s interface, thus facilitating the automation
of discovering, publication, mediation, invocation, and composition of services. However,
ontology languages, such as OWL-S, have constructs that are not easy to understand, even
for Web developers, and the existing tools that support their use contains many details
that make them difficult to manipulate. This paper presents a MDD tool called AutoWebS

AutoWebS uses an approach based on UML profiles and model transformations for

on morphosyntactic and semantic-pragmatic properties, that AQUI (HERE), A?, ALI
and L? (THERE) are part of an emerging paradigm in Brazilian Portuguese
recently constituted and still developing of forms indicating specificity in indefinite
noun phrases (NP). The data that make up the corpus of this research were collected
in the following large Brazilian oral corpora: the Corpus Discurso & Gram?tica: a

Conversacional de Natal (FURTADO DA CUNHA, 2010), the Projeto Varia??o
Lingu?stica no Estado da Para?ba VALPB (HORA, 2005) and the Projeto Varia??o
Lingu?stica Urbana na Regi?o Sul do Brasil VARSUL (VANDRESEN, 2002). Firstly,
the behavior of the specificity markings AQUI, A?, ALI and L? is described with
respect to many factors of morphosyntactic and semantic-pragmatic nature: type of
construction in which the markers appeared; existence or not of intervening material
between the specificity marker item and the NP s nuclear noun; type of noun to which
AQUI, A?, ALI and L? are linked; syntactic function of the specified SN; informational
status of the NP to which the specificity markers AQUI, A?, ALI and L? are attached;
occurrence of conversational implicatures (GRICE, 1982) in the context of use of
these specificity markers. Next, a possible grammaticalization trajectory is outlined,
according to which AQUI, A?, ALI and L? would had gone from an early spatial deictic
indication to the specificity indication. The results point to the existence of forms with
varying degree of emergence in this new paradigm of nominal specification, with A?
being, probably, the item most grammaticalized, followed by L?, then ALI and AQUI,

Previous issue date: 2018-11-12 / Coordena??o de Aperfei?oamento de Pessoal de N?vel Superior - CAPES / The great majority of the roots present curvatures and the knowledge of these curves allows the clinician a better choice for endodontic therapy. Therefore, it is necessary to use methods that can measure these curvatures with good accuracy levels. The preparation of a glide path prior to root canal instrumentation is widely suggested because can avoid possible operative errors, such as loss of centralization and apical transportation, especially in curved root canals. There is no consensus concerning the methods that can be used to measure radicular curvatures, nor regarding the efficacy of glide path. The present investigation has the objective of performing two systematic reviews in order to answer the following questions: 1- What are the methods, described in the literature, used to measure the angles and other characteristics of the curvatures of the root canals? 2- The glide path is able to reduce the apical transportation and the loss of centralization of the endodontic preparation?
Also, how does the glide path - manual or engine-driven - result in minor operative errors? Methods: Using the appropriate terms for each review, electronic searches were performed on six databases: PubMed, PubMed Central (PMC), Embase, Scopus, EBSCO Dentistry & Oral Sciences Source (DOSS) and Virtual Health Library (VHL). We used studies published in English or in any language with Latin alphabet. There was no time limit for publications. In addition, in the second review, the included studies, the risk of biases was analyzed. Results: In review 1, about the methods of measurement of curvatures, 6,336 studies were obtained and of these, 31 articles that described innovative methods. Eleven studies described the methods used to measure only the angle of the radicular curvatures, for which they used 2D images. 13 studies also used 2D images, however, in addition to the angles, evaluated other features of the root canal curvatures (position, length, direction, height and shape). In addition, seven studies evaluated curvatures using 3D methods. In review 2, regarding glide path, 2,146 articles were obtained, and 18 studies fulfilled the inclusion criteria, composing the final analysis. 9 studies evaluated the glide path per se and 11 evaluated the impact of
glide path on final engine-driven endodontic preparation. Conclusion: Revision 1
suggested that most methods for root canal curvature measurement have potential
clinical applications; however, there is a lack of consensus on the ideal technique. In
addition to the angle, other features, such as radius and position of curvature, need to
be measured and should be considered when evaluating root canal curvature in both
clinical and research purposes. Revision 2 revealed that engine-driven confection of
glide path, when compared to manual, presents similar or better results of apical
transportation and maintenance of root canal centralization. It was also observed that
the preparation of glide path, prior to endodontic preparation, is associated with similar
results or with a reduction of the apical transportation and the maintenance of the
preparation centralization. It was also observed that deviations occur in all situations.
comprimento, dire??o, altura e forma). 9 pesquisas avaliaram a confec??o do glide path per se e 11 avaliaram a repercuss?o do glide path no preparo endod?ntico motorizado final. J? a
