Thomson, Liyana, Idrizi, Besarta January 2015 (has links)
Background: Of the population in Sweden 9.7 million are four to six percent injured by diabetes. Almost ninety percent of these persons have diabetes type two. In the nursing process includes support as a part of the nurse's work. In the nursing process includes education and to convey information as a part of the nurse's work. Research has shown that the meeting with the nurse is important for the person to be able to change their lifestyle. Aim: The aim was to describe people with diabetes type two experience of meeting with the nurse. Methods: The study was conducted as a literature study based on fifteen qualitative articles. The analysis was performed with the inspiration of Friberg (2012). Results: Presented in three categories with subcategories: the experience of the first meeting, the experience of information in the meeting, the experience of the nurse's teaching in the meeting. The important factors in the meeting that emerged were: cooperation, continuity, participation, education and individual information. Discussion: Three sections that were discussed; factors in the first meeting that promoted a relationship developed, the importance of getting individual information and the role of the nurse's teaching. Conclusion: There is a need to describe how people experience the meeting with the nurse. If the nurse are trained to give persons support and individual information and education can it lead to a better self-care.

Bergström, Anna, Törnefjord Weinreich, Åsa January 2022 (has links)
Background: In Sweden, approximately 110,000 – 120,000 babies are born every year. More than ten percent of all newborn babies born in Sweden are in need of care in neonatal care units. Breastfeeding has well-documented benefits and is specifically tailored to the needs of the individual child, providing benefits for both full-term and premature born babies. Aim: The purpose of the study is to shed light on factors that affect breastfeeding work in neonatal wards. Method: General literature review. Including a total of 16 scientific articles. All articles included in the results have been reviewed according to the quality template.  Results: Breastfeeding and breast milk triggered strong and mixed feelings in the health care workers. Healthcare professionals who had undergone some form of training in the field of breastfeeding were generally more positive towards providing breastfeeding support despite the impact on the workload. Bottle feeding was seen as a convenient option although the benefits of breast milk were well known. Conclusion: The extent to which breastfeeding support is performed and the quality of it depends largely on the healthcare staff's own experiences and feelings regarding breastfeeding. Since few studies were available, it is an indication that further research in the field is needed.

Especially in intensive care workplaces, where training for highly specialized and demanding care is provided. TP thus becomes a sensitive period in which the employee decides whether to remain in the workplace or even in the profession. Methodology: This is qualitative study with the main focus of the survey on the specific experience of preceptors with TP management. Data collection was performed using semi-structured interviews with preceptor nurses in one selected workplace of intensive care. Data analysis was performed in 4 steps, open coding and sorting of data into categories and subcategories were used. Results: Six main topics were identified: Preceptors' experience from their own transition, TP organization attributes, Evaluation and feedback, The role of the preceptor nurse, Critical moments and Factors influencing the TP. The experience of trainers from their own TP is a significant predictor for their individual way of training and leading novice nurses. Evaluation and feedback have a culture and should be performed regularly in cycles to achieve the purpose. The preceptor has many roles, participates in the creation of social relationships with the novice, he himself strives to establish...
