The diploma thesis is focused on the creation of a background analysis of the current life situation in Křtiny as a material for the planned town development program. The first part describes an overview of current issues with the help of specialized literature, where the basic concepts and specific methods used in planning and conceptual activities are summarized. Next part analyses the situation in town, which is focused on specific characteristics and supplemented by the preferences of local inhabitants. Their opinions are gathered in the questionnaire survey, then graphically evaluated and commented. According to these findings, a SWOT analysis is prepared. Recommendations for further town development are proposed as a conclusion.

My master`s thesis is going to deal with the financial economy of lower territorial self-governing units -- municipalities. I will pay attention to the revenue economy and especially tax revenues that consist of approximately half of total revenues of municipal budgets. In connection with tax revenues I will also focus on budgetary determination of taxes, its process and taking place intensive discussion related to possibilities its further direction. In theoretical part I attempt to sum up an economical and legal starting points of municipal status, municipal budget and its structure. In practical part I make the analysis of the municipal economy from the size category 2 -- 5 thousand inhabitants. Municipalities in this size category cash on the average the lowest tax revenues from the common taxes per capita. According to their own words they are getting to the edge of the economic potential. The aim of this work is to carry out the analysis of the municipal economy of given municipality where such danger can happen.

Subject of this dissertation is election, description of the way election funcions in big cities, and these findings are aplied to district of Prague 5. This theses focuses on results of public election from 2002, describes election mechanics in seperated election terms and presents their most inportant participants. This disertation points to instabiliti of political party coalitions and frequent suspention of office of mayor. Big attention is given to public election in year 2014. Theses describes function of civic sector in Czech republic proces of establishing and rules of function of civic associations, which are directly applied to civic associations acting on Prague 5, especially on Prokopské údolí. This disertation then focuses on establishing of political parties, which have elements of municipal level, but candidate in Prague 5, where politics on national level mostly occurs. This theses uses interviews with both actors of civic associations and citizens, who decided to establish a political party as form a protest against construction in Prokopské údolí.

The diploma thesis deals with local government municipal politics in the city of Písek. The work is focused on the development of local government in the period after 1989 to the present. The subject of the work is an analysis of the local political system as well as its activities in the field of municipal development. The work is divided into theoretical practical. The theoretical part explains the basic concepts that are related to local government and communities alone, such as municipal government, municipal elections controversy. The practical part then characterizes Sand historical, demographic socio-economic perspective. It also focuses on communal politics in this city, dealing with local political entities running the council controversies that arise here. The practical part includes analysis also municipal elections between 1994 and 2014 and describes the development of local government after the last elections in 2014.

Author has chosen "Political Aspects of the Management and Development of Selected Municipalities (Case Study of Vinařice u Loun)" topic.The work is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part explains and describes concepts related to communal politics matter. For example, government municipalities, municipal authorities, community development, municipal management, municipal budget, municipal elections, electoral law etc. The practical part describes characteristic of Vinařice u Loun village from demographic and socio-economic perspective - according to the current municipal budget draft, compared to the budget structure with another, equally large municipalities. Furthermore, there has been described a detailed description of local interest and local government, and the last municipal election to municipal council (2014). The main objective is to define the nature of the decision-making process of local government and compare the management of the village from 2000 to the present (2016). The Masters thesis characterises a case study (as already mentioned in the title of work). For data collection, analysis of documents, interviews and comparison of data were used.

The thesis deals with the development of local government in the village of Podlesí. The village of Podlesí is situated in the Central Region, approximately two kilometers from the town of Pribram. On December 31, 2015, it had a population of 1 097 inhabitants. The main objektive of this study was to identify factors that influence the character of the local political process in the village of Podlesí. This is a case study that shows the development of the local political process here from 1990 to 2014. Working initially in the theory explains the concepts related to public administration, local authorities, the function of elections and electoral systems, municipal electoral systém and the local political process. The practical part describes the village of Podlesí. This description includes Podlesí´s history, its development of demographic characteristics and social amenities. After that an individual comparison of individual results of municipal elections from 1990 to 2014, personal interviews with local political figures and defined the character of local political processes in the village of Podlesí.

The aim of my thesis was to describe and analyze the current state of the city of Příbram in terms of the efficient use of the European, state and regional funding and suggest new solutions for the city development.

This thesis deals with the financial management of municipalities with a focus on the analysis and implementation of the budget of Chomutov in the years 2010 - 2013. Theoretical part deals with the budget, its structure and classification according to budget classification, and the phases of the budget process. The practical part is focused on the implementation of the budget revenue and expenditure, creation and use of funds, and an overall assessment of financial management, including the financing of Chomutov in the monitored period.

The diploma thesis is focused on the issue of a real estate tax and its impact on the budgets of selected municipalities. The thesis shows the evolution of tax revenues of particular municipalities with a focus on collection of real estate tax between years 2013-2017. Further are also taken into account changes of budgetary desti-nation of taxes and changes in the legislation of real estate taxes and the impact of these changes on the budgets of selected municipalities. The diploma thesis focus-es on the power that municipalities have in terms of influencing the collection of real estate tax by determinating of different types of coefficients. In conclusion are suggested some recommendations on how to improve the collection of real estate tax and thereby increase the revenue side.

Master's thesis discusses possibilities of financing municipality projects mainly through EU structural funds. Goal is to find possibilities of obtaining financial means for investment projects in municipality Zašová, concentrated on project "Build of new civil center". Final proposal should follow previous analyses and theoretical knowledge of possibilities of municipality projects financing.
