This diploma work deals with researching study of transport junction of main road I/38 and major road II/523 and than link-up of the proposed Outer ring road (VMO) and Southeastern by-pass (JVO) routes of region capital Jihlava, district of Jihlava, Vysočina region. Road structure will solve designed staged link-up of aboved mentioned roads according to their construction schedule. The design takes into account current roads and completed stages, with respect to minimum costs. Road structure is situated on Czech-Moravian Highlands. Its terrain is hilly, pondy and composed of agricultural parcels. The main purpose of this design is steady link-up of all considered traffic flows in the given locality.

My diploma thesis deals with a connection of Videňská street to the future residential district situated between Přízřenice and Modřice. The level of this thesis is a technical study. The main topic of the thesis is a design of an interchange on the Vídeňská and Moravanská streets. The thesis is focused on a technical verification of variable ramps’ connections from Vídeňská street to Moravanská street. Another important point of the thesis is an improvement of security quality of cycle traffic and a creation of a traffic junction of the city transportation system in this area. The SWOT analysis was applied to evaluation and selection the most advantageous variant of the variants. Depending on SWOT analysis, the thesis is focused on more detailed design of the most advantageous variant.

The aim of the thesis is to design a steel structure of the parking building in the center of Brno. The plan dimensions of the building are 29 x 77.5 m including a missing corner of the dimensions 5 x 12.5 m in the southeast part of the construction. The construction of the parking building has 4 above-ground floors with the same layout and the fifth floor situated only in the middle section of the construction. Each floor is 3.5 m high. The total height of the construction in the place of the roofed part of the fifth floor is 17.5 m, otherwise 14 m. A spatial frame is the main load-bearing part consisting of 7 fields in the longitudinal direction and 5 fields in the transversal direction. The spatial frame is formed of columns and longitudinal and transversal girders. Steel-concrete composite joists are pin-supported among longitudinal girders. The construction of the parking building is solved in three versions considering different placing of columns to the base structure and different placing of longitudinal and transversal girders to the columns. The resulting draft is worked out in details. Roof cladding will be made using sandwich panels and walls will be made out of glass panels. The calculation has been done in Scia Engineer 2014 program and by manual calculation.

Zahlreiche Projekte haben die prinzipielle Einsatzbereitschaft dieser Technologie für stationäre, maritime und mobile Anwendungen gezeigt. Der Markthochlauf steht jedoch derzeit vor einigen Hürden. Besonderes Augenmerk wird darauf gelegt, wie kleine und mittlere Unternehmen (KMU) diese überwinden können. Diese Hindernisse werden im Kontext der allgemeinen Marktsituation im Allgemeinen sowie in der Brennstoffzellenindustrie grundlegend analysiert. Möglichkeiten zur Kostensenkung bei steigenden Produktionsmengen und zur Sicherstellung der erforderlichen Produktqualität werden diskutiert. Die zu produzierenden Stückzahlen sind je nach Marktsegment sehr unterschiedlich. Ein universelles Brennstoffzellensystem, das nur einfache Anpassungen für verschiedene Anwendungen erfordert, kann hier eine Lösung sein. / Fuel cells represent an excellent solution for generating electrical power on demand because of their versatility, efficiency and system-related advantages. Numerous projects have shown the readiness of this technology for stationary, maritime and mobile applications. However the market ramp-up presently faces certain hurdles. Particular attention is paid to how small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) can overcome them. These obstacles are put in context by an analysis of the general market Situation within the fuel cell industry. Opportunities for the reduction of costs as production quantities ramp up whilst assuring the necessary product quality are discussed. The quantities involved are vary between individual market segments. Therefore it is imperative that production capacities grow in line with the actual demand for fuel cell systems and products. A universal fuel ce/1 system design which only needs simple adaptations for different applications can be a solution here.

The theme of the dissertation titled the Centre of Sport and Leisure Time in Brno is a design of a relaxing and sport site „Centrum Lužánky“. The subject of this project is architectonic-city-planning study, which deals with elaborating a concept of a sport centre behind Lužánky in Brno-Ponava. This dissertation contains details of the facility and the area of the current swimming pool Lužánky. The current state of the facility built in 1979 doesn’t meet requirements of visitors and sportsmen anymore. The main aim of this project is the reconstruction of the current fifty-meter swimming pool, a design of a new swimming pool placed under the ground floor of the current building, which will provide space for organizing international competitions, trainings of professional sportsmen, etc. At the same time the busyness of the current swimming pools would be lowered by building a new indoor and outdoor waterpark, especially for the group of recreational visitors. The attractiveness of the facility will be increased by the newly designed park relaxing area and proposed multipurpose area, used as a sports field in the summer and as an ice ring in the winter. Additional value of the facility is comprised by an indoor and outdoor café and large relaxing area on the roof of the waterpark. The whole area increases the community facility availability by a proposed wide range of services for health, relax and sport. The advantage of the whole concept is the mutual connection of all facilities. The entrance to the area is shortened by a designed pedestrian bridge, accessible from the south and north busy areas. The whole project is enhanced by increased number of new parking places, located particularly along the access road, the street Sportovní, going through a green zone. The road and parking places are proposed in the design of residential streets, respecting walking pedestrians. The area has a very rich sport history, which is dated back to 1922.
