Open source intelligence (OSINT) has always been strongly tied to the information and communication technology (ICT) of the day. This paper is an examination of the current state of OSINT as it relates to ICTs by looking at overarching problems that exist across multiple types of collection methods, as well as looking at specific cases where there are issues, such as China and the Middle East, and ending with some minor recommendations on how to fix or minimize the issues highlighted. / text

Three global trends are about to greatly influence the world we live in; collaborate consumption, a strong environmental awareness and a third industrial revolution that includes 3D printing, advanced robotics and open source software. This project is addressing these changes in order to evoke new enthusiasm for cars among the general public and again be a creative and positive driving force in our modern society. The proposal is illustrated through a halo car for a local car sharing fleet targeted at the Norwegian market. The car seeks to create immediate attention through dynamic design elements as well as long lasting enthusiasm through non-compromised usability.

Σε αυτή την διπλωματική εργασία πραγματευόμαστε το αντικείμενο της αυτοματοποιημένης ανάπτυξης διαδικτυακών πυλών. Σχεδόν κάθε ιστοτόπος μπορεί να κατασκευαστεί είτε εξολοκλήρου με την συγγραφή κώδικα από την αρχή είτε με την χρησιμοποίηση ενός συστήματος διαχείρισης περιεχομένου (Content Management System – CMS). Στην εργασία αυτή μελετήσαμε τα συστήματα αυτά και αναλύσαμε μερικά από τα δημοφιλέστερα ανοιχτού κώδικα (open source) συστήματα. Κάνουμε μια συγκριτική αξιολόγηση αυτών όχι μόνο βάσει των χαρακτηριστικών τους αλλά χρησιμοποιώντας τα για την ανάπτυξη διαδικτυακών κόμβων εμπλουτισμένων με όλα τα σύγχρονα χαρακτηριστικά. Σκοπός είναι να δούμε στην πράξη τα πλεονεκτήματα και μειονεκτήματα των συστημάτων αυτών καθώς και να αναλύσουμε πότε αξίζει να τα χρησιμοποιούμε και πότε αξίζει η υλοποίηση ενός ισοτόπου με την συγγραφή κώδικα από την αρχή. Η εργασία αυτή ολοκληρώνεται με την υλοποίηση μιας ολοκληρωμένης, σύγχρονης διαδυκτυακής πύλης χρησιμοποιώντας ένα από τα συστήματα CMS που μελετήσαμε. / -

Diplominio darbo, kurio tema yra “Informacinių sistemų taikymas technologijų mokymo procese“ (toliau – darbas), tyrimo objektas yra VPU pažangiausių informacinių sistemų taikymas mokymo procese. Tikslas - ištirti taikomąsias programas, kurios gali būti naudojamos technologijų mokymo procese, jų realizavimo galimybes, atsižvelgiant į poreikius ir reikalavimus joms. Siekiant šių tikslų būtina atlikti žemiau išvardintas užduotis. 1. Atlikti VPU darbuotojų ir technologijos specialybes studentų apklausą anketavimo metodu. 2. Nustatyti, kokias taikomąsias programas VPU dėstytojai ir technologijos specialybės studentai naudoja technologijų mokymo procese. 3. Atlikti naudojamų taikomųjų programų paketų apžvalgą. 4. Parodyti taikomųjų programų paketų galimybes technologijų mokymo procese. 5. Pateikti rekomendacijas ir pavyzdžius taikomųjų programų (komercinės, atviros) panaudojimo konkrečių technologijų disciplinų mokymo procese. Darbo metu tiriama taikomoji programinė įranga, kuri galėtų būti panaudota mokymo procese. Tiriant jos galimybes, atliekami braižymo, projektavimo bei skaičiavimo darbai, kurie atskleidžia įrangos panaudojimo galimybes, ruošiant būsimus technologijų mokslo specialistus. / The study subject of the diploma thesis titled „Application of Information Systems in Technology Teaching Process“ (hereinafter „the thesis“) is application of advanced information systems in the VPU educative process. The objective of the research is to explore application programmes that could be used in technology teaching process, their feasibility with consideration to a demand and imposed requirements. In order to accomplish the objective it was necessary to fulfil the following tasks: 2. To carry out a questionnaire survey among the VPU magistral staff and students. 3. To find out what application programmes are currently used by the VPU teaching staff and students in technology teaching process. 4. To make a survey of the application programme packages that are being currently used. 5. To describe the features of application programme packages used in technology teaching process. 6. To make recommendations on use of application programmes (commercial or open source) and suggest examples of such programmes for particlar technology disciplines teaching processes. While drawing the thesis there was also made an investigation of application software that could be used in the teaching process. Exploring its features there were conducted drawing, design and computing works that disclose the software opportunities in training future technology specialists.

Šiame darbe supažindinama su kompiuterinių tinklų apsaugos problemomis, pagrindiniais tinklo veikimo principais. Išaiškinti pagrindinai kompiuterinių tinklų struktūros modeliai. Išanalizuotos ir išaiškintos pagrindinės kompiuterių tinklo plėtros, sujungimo, maršrutizavimo, vaizdavimo, valdymo ir monitoringo problemos. Išnagrinėjus esamas kompiuterinių tinklų problemas, buvo sukurtas naujas tinklo modelis, užtikrinantis lengvą ir greitą tinklo išteklių ir vartotojų segmentaciją, pastovų ir nepertraukiamą visų tinklo mazgų darbą, o svarbiausiai užtikrinantis didelį visų kompiuterių tinklo vartotojų ir išteklių apsaugą. Taip pat yra numatyta lengva galimybė dėl naujų ar kitų tinklo segmentų prijungimo ir to paties tinklo augimo ir plėtros. Atlikti eksperimentai su naujų kompiuterių tinklų modeliais, aiškinantis teorinius ir praktinius VLAN tinklų kiekius, kuriuos pasiekus ar viršijus, vertėtų atlikti tinklo segmentaciją ir aiškinantis jų įtaką maršrutizatoriaus apkrovai ir veikimui. / In this work you’ll learn about computer network’s problems and basic network operation principles, also the basic computer network’s structure models explained. Analyzed and explained basic problems about computer network development, connection, routers, monitoring and operation. After researching the existing computer network problems there was new network model designed. This model ensures easy and fast users and resources segmentation, constant and continuous work of all the network nodes and above all ensures the reliable protection for computer users and sources. Also there is the opportunity for the new or existing segments to hook up to the main network easily and for its growth and development. There were carried out the experiments with the new models of computer network, which helped to explain the theoretical and practical VLAN numbers. In case of reaching or exciding those VLAN numbers it is necessary to carry out network’s segmentation and clarify its influence on router’s overload and operation.
