This thesis is dedicated to the creation of Balanced Scorecard for three nursery schools in Prague 9. The aim is the application of BSC in the nonprofit sector and its use in the current operation of these organizations. The theoretical part deals with the strategy, method Balaced Scorecard and also the characteristics of the nonprofit sector. In the practical part describes the kindergarten both in terms of legal, economic, but also their specifics. The practical part continues with PEST analysis, Porter analysis and SWOT analysis. The largest part is devoted to the creation of Balanced Scorecard, including evaluation and strategic map.

Dissertation thesis named Towards Creative Possibilities of Theatre Management deals with various possibilities and ways enabling the development of creative potential. First of all, it focuses on individuals, next it speaks about the role of creative manager, leading people in creative teams and finally it analyses a creation and stabilization of creative organization. These four topics create a core of first four chapters of dissertation thesis. The basic method of research is a synthesis of knowledge gained from various authors in the field of creative management, culturology, economy, psychology and psychiatry, neurology, from dramaturges, directors and managers. At the same time, the work is based on author´s teaching experience at The Theatre Faculty of The Academy of Performing Arts in Prague (Production Department). Author also summarises her own experience with discussed phenomenon during her work as a manager. This dissertation thesis does not aim at exhausting above mentioned topic. On the contrary, it puts facts into new relations, it makes new connections and above all it speaks about new sources of creativity and creative ways of problem solutions especially in connection to manager´s job. The thesis also focuses on the professional role of theatre dramaturge (fifth, closing chapter is devoted to this topic). The goal of this work is to prove the usefulness and purposefulness of creative approach in the theatre management, which has positive effect on people and the whole teams and organizations. Author believes that it is effective on qualitative as well as on quantitative level. This approach could be found in a management literature but rarely it is analysed in art management sources. The basic hypothesis of authors’ doctoral research is that the awareness and usage of methods of creative approaches leads to more successful organizations, it also leads to transition from creating new thoughts towards their articulation, realisation and evaluation. This can bring the inflow of new motivated people who enjoy their jobs first of all. This way, organisation can multiply the number and the quality of submitted projects and other outputs, broaden the web of co-operators, spectators and raise the level of financial stability and good media partners response.

Today?s dynamic world is full of changing. Companies which wants to be succesfull must react on the changes on the market very quickly. The main changes must be concentrate in the district of the organization structure. The organization structure is the building stone of every company. The aim of this thesis was to propose the optimal organization structure and the evaluate effectiveness and the economic contribution of these proposals. The analysed company is ALFA join stock company.This company is a longtime manufacturer of kitchen doors and currently produces fire boards, particle boards and panels, floor panels, foiled boards, profiles and vermiculite expansion. STEP, SWOT and financial analysis were used for the analysing this company. The changes were realized in manufacturing sector, strategic purchasing sector and in commercial sector. The company reaches higher competitive advantage with these changes. Design changes in the organizational structure were projected on the basis of the organizational chart, organizational structure, operating rules and other internal sources.

This work deals with the changes and their impact on organizations in the new Civil Code, effective from 1 1st 2014. Analyzes individual NGOs prior to the effectiveness of the new Civil Code, then analyzes these organizations on the basis of the new Civil Code and focuses the impact of these changes on individual organizations, both in terms of direct impact of the new Civil Code, and in terms of indirect influence, and it changed the terminology. Finally, it describes the proposal of a fairer taxation of non-profit organizations.

This diploma thesis deals with economical analysis the Administration of National Park Podyjí as governmental organization established by the Ministry of the Environment of the Czech Republic. The part of analysis is comparison with other national park which represents the Administration of the National Park České Švýcarsko, as a governmental department. Economic analysis of investigated subjects was focused on financial statement (statement of profits and losses) and selected economic indicators. The analysis was running in years 2008 -- 2012. In the diploma thesis were used basic characteristics of the time series (simple arithmetic mean, mean absolute increase, the growth rate and the average growth rate). The goal of the diploma thesis is evaluate and compare selected economic indicators of national parks.

This diploma thesis deals with the possibilities of financing civic associations and their accounting and tax implications. The theoretical part deals with the general characteristics of non-profit organizations then thesis deals with civic associations, their taxation and accounting. The following chapter deals with the sources of financing of civic associations and their capture in accounting and also there is mentioned the issue of fundraising. Own work is mainly devoted to the analysis of a funding specific civic association and subsequently evaluating the current funding with recommendations to raise additional funds. On model example is calculated the tax liability and are demonstrated impacts of the recommended changes in funding the civic association. The work also includes a short survey on the financing of civic associations.

Diploma thesis "Cultural diplomacy" examines a specific field of diplomatic relations in which culture plays the key role. It introduces basic terminology and theoretical outcomes. Later, it defines cultural diplomacy in the broader context of public diplomacy, nation branding, and soft power. The main part is devoted to describing and analyzing the environment in the Czech Republic - it defines institutions and instruments used in the Czech environment and specifies methods of cultural diplomacy. With respect to subsections of cultural diplomacy, it is primarily devoted to the performing arts. The following chapter describing the transition of cultural diplomacy to guerilla diplomacy constitutes a substantial part of the thesis. It introduces this concept as the first thesis so far. Further it explains it in detail and points to the possibility of its application in the field of art and possibly culture. The final part includes suggestions for working more efficiently with tools of cultural and guerilla diplomacy in the Czech Republic.

Pražské divadelní scény v ziskovém sektoru / Prague theaters in the profit sector

This thesis is mainly focused on a detailed study of three theatres in profitable bussiness sector in Prague. Considering sensitive nature of the economic data, some of the information about the for-profit theatres presented below are actually published for the first time. The author also studies Mestska divadla prazska (City Theatres of Prague), a contributory organisation of the city of Prague. On academic level, the author of this work suggests a dissolution of the union of the City Theatres of Prague. He proposes that the space of once freed ABC Theatre should be rented to a new keeper with a profitable legal personality. Thanks to this, the city of Prague would get considerable financial savings and could keep maintenance of the representative theatre in the very center of metropolis at the same time. The author actually offers three possible models of operations for this newly-emerged subject. He prepared programming and budgets for two theatre seasons for the three cases. In the last chapter he considers the most eligible model. Is it possible to run this bussiness model with profit? On what conditions?

The aim of this work is to evaluate the international activities of non profit organizations. In this work, there are specified non profit organizations, their activities and development. In the second part of the thesis there are foundations analyzed according to position, object of activity and foundation capital. Foundations are also divided by location into these, which are in the Czech Republic and those, which are operating abroad. After that, the work focuses on specific activities carried out by the foundations. The conclusion describes ten international foundations in details.

This diploma thesis deals with difficulties resulted from exercitation of the value added tax by municipalities and their semi-budgetary organizations. Those sub-jects must differ between economic activity and providing public administration while applying the value added tax. Diploma thesis explores impact of the value added tax within taxpayer and non-taxpayer; it explains its basic concepts which are connected to non-profit subjects. There is described and evaluated the cur-rent situations of three chosen municipalities and subsequently suggested ade-quate recommendations in accordance to valid legislation.
