Footnote: In the graduation thesis I focus on the study of activities of KSČ in the district of Ústí nad Labem in period between years 1945 and 1948. The basis of my work comprise study of sources and literature. I concentrate my interest particularly on following thematic fields: organizational activity, personnel administration, activities in trade unions and acting in bodies of local self- government (ONV and MNV Ústí nad Labem). Naturally I touch activities of other political parties with whom Communists clashed when they aimed to reach their goals. The work should globally depict and appraise activities of KSČ in the district and put them into wider context.

Title: Development and position of Beach volleyball in the Czech Environment. Objectives: The aim of this thesis is to describe and evaluate the Czech beach volleyball history since its beginning. The next aim is to delineate the way of organizing and integration of beach volleyball into the Czech sport environment. Methods: The paper used the methods of qualitative and quantitative research. Different methods of personal interviews are used to collect data about development and status of beach volleyball from athletes and officials. Computer Assisted Web Interviewing (CAWI) is applied to public. Results: I created a complete overview of the Czech beach volleyball history, as developed in the Czech sports environment, to the present. In the second part, I delineated an organization of beach volleyball and it's emplacement in our conditionals in detail - both in a public and the private sector. Master's thesis Cultural Diversity and its Protection in International Law focuses on the concept of cultural diversity within international law and examines the various means of its protection and promotion. Although the theme of cultural diversity is relatively new for international law, the issue developed significantly in the last fifteen years. This thesis therefore outlines the development of the protection of cultural diversity in an international environment and focuses on its current relevance. The first part of the thesis describes the historical development of the protection of cultural diversity from the perspective of international law. It focuses on the concept of cultural diversity within the framework of international organizations. The thesis then presents various means of protection and preservation of cultural diversity, be it earlier documents dealing with the protection of cultural diversity or the UNESCO Convention on the Protection and Promotion of the Diversity of Cultural Expressions from 2005, which is one of the most important milestones in these efforts. The main target of the dissertation is to analyse and evaluate the financial management of the three types of organizationally legal forms for theatres, namely the allowance organization, the public service company and the private body. The first part is focused on the general characteristics of the allowance organization, methods of financing and the issue of funds under the new legislation. The practical part is focused on the analysis of financing of Švandovo theater, Dejvické theatre and the Theatre in Celetná, whose founder is Gaspar, s. r. o. Followed by a comparison of certain indicators between the theatres and the determination of the impact of these indicators has organizationally legal form in which the theatres work.

The aim of this thesis is an evaluation of effectiveness of management in non state and nonprofit sector and confrontation of theoretical knowledge and praxis based on real example of a nonprofit organization. For the evaluation of effectiveness of management I use financial analysis indicators which are modified for the nonprofit sector needs. Throughout the thesis, a series of additional questions, regarding financial sources, financial reporting problematic and report manipulation, is addressed. A considerable sphere of interest are also state interventions, their influence on nonprofit, state-run organizations and financial crisis impact. First part deals with theoretical knowledge gained from scholarly literature regarding key questions of the issues in question. The applied part is opened with the financial analysis methodology, followed by financial analysis of chosen organization itself, which is done on the basis of its financial reports.

The Diploma thesis is focused on publicity and public relations in non-profit organization. The first part of the work synthesizes theoretic findings from the field of communication, marketing and public relations and is using them to generate an overview of instruments and procedures suitable for use in a non-profit organization. Based on this theoretic assumption is Analysis of current communication system used by the organization. The main aim of this thesis is to draft a brand-new communication strategy, including a new graphic design, a set of communication tools and a system of their applications. The subject of the research is the Club For Old Prague, a civic association with more than a century long tradition in the field of architectural heritage protection and preservation the genius loci of our towns. The new communication strategy should help the Club to improve coordination of the flow of information, and through to newly created, unified and unmistakable image gain more publicity and public support for Club's goals.

This thesis deals with the financial fundraising, whose task is to find for a non-profit organizations from various sources with sufficient funds to fulfill the mission of serving.The goal is to characterize the possible sources of funding non-governmental organizations and describe the ways how to gain support from different sources. They also point out other activities related to fundraising and supporting its success. The practical part shlould serve as the application of the fundraising practices of civil associations and also specific explanation of reasons for not using certain types of fundraising that other non-profit organization uses. In the theoretical part, there are explained the sources of funding, different types of fundraising methods and approaching donors (fundraising methods). Because of the close relation to fundraising, there is also the issue describes the budgeting. The thesis also deals with relationships with potential and existing donors. Later there is an issue of PR as Public Relations influence the views of potential donors to the organization and the decision granting or with holding allowance. Practical part serves as a practical application of usability practices in fundraising.
