The cooperation and parthership should be strenghtened by the inner organization of civil sector into the ubrella organizations and by the provision of their services. In this diploma thesis is realized the quantitative research which is focused on the fact what is the role of regional umbrella organization in the setting of cooperation and partnership with the regional government.

This diploma thesis deals with the impacts of the performance of non-governmental organizations (NGOs) on the effectiveness of multilateral negotiations in the World Trade Organization (WTO). In the introduction, I present the theoretical framework of the whole thesis which is based on the approach of Victor Kremenyuk and his definition of basic analytical elements of multilateral negotiation. Further, I describe the development of the relationship between the WTO and NGOs and I also introduce the various options of involvement of NGOs into the work of the WTO including the NGOs' activities by means of which they influence the negotiation effectiveness. Through the analysis of the NGOs' performance at the ministerial conferences in Singapore (1996), Geneva (1998) and Seattle (1999) I explore the participation, options of involvement and activities of NGOs. On a concrete case of NGOs' campaign for the acceptance of the commitment to respect the basic labour standards in WTO I examine the impacts of the NGOs' performance on particular elements of negotiation - actors and their strategies, issues, structure, process and outcomes of the negotiation. The theme of my thesis is "Civic engagement though the eyes of political parties youth wings." I chose three specific associations, which cover the classical political spectrum. The goal of the thesis is to discover what kind of relationship these young people have to civic engagement. Civic engagement is represented by the new type of engaged NGOs. I also wanted to know what was their motivation to join the youth wing and if their opinions about civic engagement corespond with the Party point of view. In the theoretical part I introduce concepts of political participation and civic engagemant connected with the third sector and political parties. In the empirical part is presented the analysis with the findings. I used qualitative research strategy and data were obtained mostly trom interviews. In the end the findings are summarized and connscted with the theoretical framework.

Environmental protection and the World Trade Organization Klára Šmídlová Abstract The theme of this diploma thesis is the relationship of the World Trade Organization (WTO) to the environmental protection. In its three chapters, this paper carries out an analysis of the historical aspects of this relationship and also of the questions, which are being solved in the present. The first chapter outlines the evolution of the relationship between the international trade and the environmental protection since 1947 when the General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade was concluded. The second part of the paper focuses on the analysis of the provisions of the particular WTO agreements, which approach the issue of the environmental protection in different ways. The case law established by the WTO bodies during solving of the disputes between the member states is especially emphasised in analysis of the provisions of the WTO agreements. Finally, the last chapter is devoted to the research of the relationship between the WTO and multilateral environmental agreements, above all those making use of the trade measures to achieve their goals.

It consists of four main chapters. In the first part, the relationship between state and law is analysed as well as the existence of the sports law itself. The chapter deals also with the specifics of sports rules and content concepts of sports law. The majority of rules in the sport sector is formed by the regulation which is not source of law in the formal sense. The diploma thesis Periodical Press in České Budějovice 1945 - 1948 focuses on the specifics of the development of periodicals published in České Budějovice in the post-war era from 1945 to 1948. The first part of the thesis deals with the changes in political, economic and cultural spheres in České Budějovice after World War II because it is significant context that influenced the organization and the structure of the national and regional press. For a systematic interpretation of the media situation the thesis captures the characteristics of the periodical press in České Budějovice published in the period between 1938 and 1945. The broadcasting of the radio station was very important during the last days of World War II, because it formed the basis of the regional editorial office of the Czechoslovak Radio. Therefore it was not possible to omit this topic.
