Zpracování otisků prstů / Processing of fingerprints

Kazík, Martin January 2011 (has links)
This diploma thesis deals with the identification of persons by their fingerprints. In the beginning, there is a brief overview of biometric methods. The issue of fingerprints and their automatic processing is very extensive and addresses a large amount of literature. This work describes the various stages processing fingerprints from receiving a fingerprint scan through the methods of enhancing fingerprint, binarization, the detection of minutiae to compare two fingerprints. After a short introduction of biometric techniques is briefly introduced the history of fingerprints as an instrument for identification of persons. Subsequently, there is the description of problems of obtaining fingerprints from older methods that require the transmission medium, to methods of obtaining fingerprints directly into a digital format. There are described basic principles of sensors and the principle of their function. Next part deals with methods of processing digital fingerprint images. These are methods for fingerprint image enhancement, methods for image thresholding, thinning of ridge lines, detection of global and local characteristics of the fingerprint. The next section introduces the basic methods of comparison and classification of fingerprints. The practical part describes the specific implementation of fingerprint processing chain. For each processing stage is implemented one selected method. The result is an application that allows displaying the output of each phase, the comparison of fingerprints 1:1 and also finds a fingerprint in the database, by comparing one fingerprint with many.

Analýza a návrh informačního systému pro správu podniku / Analysis and Design of Company Management System

Reniers, Petr January 2010 (has links)
With arrival of the information technology new types of easily accessible web applications and systems developed on standard technologies have begun to emerge. Nowadays we cannot even imagine the companies and the world without these systems. They have garnished massive popularity among companies, users and developers while being created for the internet applications as well as corporate intranet applications. Considering an emergence of object oriented design and design patterns it is important to test these modern tools on development of an information system and to analyze situation on the market with small company information systems. This thesis acts just this problem. I develop company management system, which serves for better management of firms, cost reduction and gain enhancement.

Hodnocení napjatostního chování lepeného konstrukčního dřeva pomocí DIC analýzy. / Evaluation of load-deformation characteristics of glued timber using DIC analysis

Šot, Michal January 2015 (has links)
The work deals with issues of evaluation of the shear properties of timber structural materials, particularly CLT elements. The work contains an overview of extensive research so far presented scientific studies dealing with the characteristic shear properties of wood. In the practical part was carried out the experiment dealing with the failure mode of transverse lamellae of CLT elements that were exposed to shear stress. There were observed individual effects that this may affect the material properties. In the first part of the experiment were performed numerical models using FEM. In the second part, the test specimens were tested in three point bending. Here, attention was paid to the influence of macroscopic properties of wood on the distribution of stress cracks and shear strength, the tests were recorded using DIC system.

Flexibilita v prostorové kognici potkana / Flexibility in spatial cognition of rat

Staňková, Anna January 2015 (has links)
5 Abstract Cognitive flexibility is an ability to adapt a behavior according to a dynamic changes in an environment. It belongs to executive functions, along with the processes of working memory, attention, motivation and others. Flexibility is important in the process of changing "stimulus-response" contingency at the time when the initial stimulus no longer leads to reward. According to the nature of the changes we can distinguish three types of cognitive flexibility: reversal learning, intradimensional set shifting and extradimensional set shifting. The processes of cognitive flexibility take place in fronto-striato-thalamic circuit with numerous connections to other brain regions, especially the limbic system. Deficit in cognitive flexibility belongs among cognitive symptoms of schizophrenia, a psychiatric illness we studied in the experimental part of this work using its analogue in rat. The aim of the experimental work was to test cognitive flexibility deficit in the rat model of schizophrenia-like behavior in the Carousel maze in four versions of task with different cognitive load. Animal model of schizophrenia was induced by acute administration of non-competitive NMDA receptor antagonist MK-801 at doses of 0.05 and 0.10 mg/kg i.p. Reversal learning was not damaged in this type of task following the...

Psychologická budoucnost studentů gymnázia / Future Through the Eyes of High School Students

Hanzlíková, Tereza January 2019 (has links)
This diploma thesis with the future through the eyes of senior high school students, especially with its contents and time location of these contents. The theoretical part presents the most famous time perspective theories and the relationship between adolescents and their future. The emhasis is on introducing czech and also foreign research on a similar topic. The empirical part has four goals: find out which future contents senior high school students are dealing with, 2. where these contents are located in time, 3. how important are the contents and 4. what is the relationship between the future contents and student's past and present. They were done semi-structured interviews within the first and the second goal, then these interviews were coded and interpreted by using elements of grounded theory. To answer the other two goals students filled out questionnaire Ten most important life events by Cottle. The discussion part presents results of the research and comparison with the results of other research. The most senior high school students deal (in the context of the future) with university study, profession, travelling, independence and making their own family. Key words: time perspective, future time perspective, future orientation, late adolescence, senior high school students

Předávání hodnot v rodině / Transmission of values in the family

Bryknarová, Jana January 2011 (has links)
Thesis is concerned with the transmission of values and norms in the family. The goal is to quantify the level of transmission of values between children and parents. The second step is to identify what impact on transmission of value in the family has education of parents and parenting style, which apply to a child during adolescence. Underpinning the findings is the analysis of data file "Cultural and value orientations 2008", which is unique in that it includes real families (parents and their adult children). Attention is focused on the values for different levels of generality (the value frameworks, value orientations, attitudes and norms) and education in the family as a source of values. Analysis shows a high degree of agreement between parents and their children in the sphere of values. As the main variables that affect the transmission of values were identified education of parents and parenting style.

Tržní orientace a řízení vztahů k zákazníkům / Market Orientation and Customer Relationship Management

Frejková, Daniela January 2014 (has links)
The doctoral thesis is concerned with Market Orientation (MO) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM). MO and CRM have been under permanent focus of both theoreticians and practitioners in recent years as they are considered to be important for long-term business success. Surprisingly, these two strategic concepts have been examined separately. What is missing is research that would systematically analyse the possible interdependence between MO and CRM. The main aim of the doctoral thesis is to evaluate the existence of interconnections between MO and CRM. This doctoral thesis has been prepared on the basis of secondary research, as well as primary research activities. Both qualitative and quantitative methods have been applied in order to obtain a more complex view on the topic. The main primary research of this thesis was conducted through a questionnaire survey among aerospace companies in the Czech Republic. The hypotheses were tested so as to support the partial objectives, as well. The findings constitute a valuable contribution to broaden the knowledge of MO and CRM. The doctoral thesis has revealed that MO and CRM are interconnected. A tool for CRM measurement was proposed, and the level of MO and CRM in the surveyed companies was determined. The barriers to the implementation of MO and CRM were identified, yet the actual application of these concepts in practice of companies has remained an issue. The conclusions and recommendations were formulated and the contributions to the theory, practice and education were highlighted. The findings offer the possibility of further expansion of research.
