Proces adaptace začínajících učitelů mateřských škol jako součást řízení školy / Adaptation process of beginning nursery teachers as a part of school management

The thesis deals with contemporary issues of beginning nursery teacher support. Especially it deals with their preparation for the profession and the actual process of adaptation to the working environment. The theoretical part is focused on the issue of support for beginning teachers in the Czech Republic from studies and defining the competencies of graduates to entry into the profession and adaptation as part of the school management. The aim is to create a draft of a new teacher's adaptation plan in a nursery based on theoretical knowledge and the results of the investigation into the needs and expectations of nursery directors and trainee teachers themselves. Theoretical basis is followed by empirical part - quantitative research survey consisting of questionnaires and interviews, which aims to determine whether the adaptation of beginning teachers is part of the school management and how experienced teachers are involved into the process, to determine agreement, expectations and requirements during the entry of beginning teachers into practice. Comparison of the results of research studies leads to recommendations for management education. Based on theoretical knowledge and the results of the investigation the conclusion is designed the adaptation plan for beginning nursery teachers. KEYWORDS...

This dissertation thesis focuses on life quality of visually impaired people. The aim is to give an answer to a research question which was: How an indepedent, unsupported movement activity influences the quality of life of visually impaired people. Research that is bases on defition of the basic theoretical concepts and attitudes including its terminology is realized in form of the analysis of available sources and in form of the regulated, controlled interviews. This thesis identifies the aspects of life improvement as a result of independent activity and of training of spatial orientation as well as the determinants that set and specify the extent and the degree of this improvement in the individual cases. Although nowadays, the situation and the visually impaired people s lives are being improved, it is necessary to continue this trend and to come nearer the vision of new coming inclusion. Všímavost u homosexuálně orientovaných osob / Mindfulness in homosexually oriented individuals

The focus of this work is to bring the idea of mindfulness closer, in terms of connection with other personality traits. Additionally it highlights the use of mindfulness in psychotherapy practice, specifically in regard to homosexually orientated clients. The study summarizes the main findings on the mindfulness phenomenon, highlighting the important aspects of adopting a new identity within this demographic. The study also monitors the connection of coming out process with particular aspects of mindfulness. In the empirical section the results of the FFMQ questionnaire, in which participated 294 persons of both male and female gender and of both heterosexual and homosexual orientation are compared using quantitative methods. By means of statistical analysis of variance (ANOVA) it was determined that the homosexually orientated do not differ significantly from those of heterosexual orientation. Furthermore there was no significant statistical difference in mindfulness between genders within the research sample. Changes in reproductive behaviour within the second demographic transition in the selected european countries Abstract The aim of this work is to analyze the changes in reproductive behavior within the second demographic transition in five countries of Europe. The Czech Republic, Estonia, The Netherlands, Finland and Portugal were selected. Each of them represents one of trajectories of the second demographic transition in the European region. Within theoretical concept of the second demographic transition the research of cultural factors was particularly stressed as they are considered to be the main factors of stimulation of the changes. Attention was focused on the analysis of value orientation of selected populations using data of the European Values Study (EVS) and the International Social Survey (ISSP). Analysis of reproductive behavior in those countries was included as well. It was found out, that changes in value orientation in the post-communistic countries couldn't have been the only determinant of changes in reproductive behavior. Moreover, the value change has been still taking place even in the countries where the second demographic transition started three or four decades ago. The diploma thesis focuses on special activities used with visually impaired individuals such as spatial orientation and independent movement activities. The thesis is based both on literature and questionnaires filled in by parents and interviews with children who take spatial orientation and independent movement courses. The first part of this thesis is characteristics of children with severe visual impairment. Next chapter is dedicated to visual defects and injuries of children, including special pedagogy diagnostics. The third chapter deals with special activities used with visual impaired individuals, specifically self-service, training of signing one's self, spatial orientation and independent movement. The final part consists of research - questionnaires and interviews with children who attend spatial orientation and independent movement courses. The dissertation thesis deals with the issue of registered partnership and with the attitudes of predominantly homosexual public to that institute, new from both social and legal perspective. The task of the delimitation of theoretical context is to state basic concepts related to the topic. That part deals further with registered partnership, its legal and social aspects in selected European Union countries. The research part includes processing and evaluation of data got by quantitative method of questioning, when opinions of homosexual, heterosexual and bisexual respondents on the current legal regulation of homosexual couples were ascertained with the help of anonymous questionnaire investigation. Also the method of qualitative research in form of group discussion was chosen for processing of the empirical part of the thesis. The goal of the thesis was to ascertain whether the legislation is convenient from the point of view of homosexual couples and whether there are not any forms of discrimination with regard to sexuality. The author deals marginally also the sphere of parenthood in the research part and ascertains whether more female or male couples live together. Last but not least she tries to outline the issue of discrimination. The thesis allows viewing the attitudes of heterosexual, bisexual and homosexual respondents to selected discrimination areas of this issue.

This thesis deals with the value orientation of students of the Faculty of Theology the University of South Bohemia in Budweis in their leisure time. Firstly, there are explained the basic concepts, which are followed by a detailed overview of particular value concepts to their philosophical, sociological, pedagogical and psychological perspective. Furthermore, the classification values of the selected authors, roles of values and their importance in human life and society are presented in this thesis. Last but not least is this thesis focused on the researches of value orientations in both Czech and foreign literature. There is a chapter elaborated about the leisure time, its concepts, definitions of selected authors, functions of leisure time and its role in socioscientific contexts at the conclusion of the theory part. The main aim of the research is to describe and analyze the value orientation of students of the Faculty of Theology the University of South Bohemia in Budweis in their leisure time. The data obtained from a non-standardized questionnaire will be compared by gender, the age of students and their years of study at the Theological Faculty. Eventually, will be the evaluation and recomendation made for the use in practise.

This thesis focuses on students´ activities related to social participation in leisure time and information sources where they get information about courses of events in society. These activities are associated with residence in two chosen boarding houses Boarding house belonging to grammar school, secondary school of economics and secondary training school in Kaplice and boarding house and school canteen in Holečkova street in České Budějovice. This thesis includes tutors´ opinions on students´ social involvement in their leisure time. Theoretical part of this thesis defines youth in current society, characterizes students´ leisure time culture, their attitude to social participation and it also describes the impact of value orientation on development of both their personality and environment. This part also describes youth´s lifestyle in information society and there are described basic characteristics of boarding houses, tutor´s personality and his part within the process of youth´s participation in society. The last chapter of theoretical part introduces chosen education approaches based on training leading to youth´s participation and there is stated their influence on individual lifelong and social impact. Experimental part defines research task, research questions and defines hypothesis. It is followed by question-forms assessment that were filled in by students and tutors and assessment of defined hypothesis. There are discussed results of the research in the end of this thesis.

Problem: The problems of values have been in the forefront of human interest since ancient philosophy. Due to the serious nature of this topic it is not a surprise that values are presently the focus of nearly all social sciences (psychology, economics, sociology, anthropology, ethnology etc.). However, value orientation in seniors still represents a relatively not very explored area. In this respect, the value orientation of seniors in relation to sport and the barriers inhibiting their participation in locomotion activities in particular is a topical issue in the light of the present-day demographical development in the developed countries. Hypothesis: We presume that we find relationships between the value orientation of a selected senior population and their degree of participation in locomotion activities, the type of locomotion activities and socio-demographic characteristics. We also presume that we find relationships between the value orientation of a selected senior population and their subjective perception of barriers limiting or inhibiting seniors' involvement in locomotion activities.
