The aim of the work is to design a plain wood combustion boiler of 88 t/h output. Fuelling component analysis has been added to the basic boiler parameters. For given fuel is prepared stechiometric calculations. After making the heat balance of boiler is determined the thermal efficiency. For given output of steam parametrs (temparature, pressure, volume) are designed individual convective surfaces and dimensons of the boiler. It is also made drawings.

Created methodology for calculating the potential deformation energy parts is described in this thesis. Calculation method uses the outputs of modal analysis, which is performed using computational modelling. The potential deformation energy parts are calculated for three cases. Two benchmark problems and one case of blade model. Blade geometry is received by 3D scanning and reconstruction of given specimen. Results of the potential deformation energy parts calculations are analyzed and conclusions are formulated.

Purpose of this thesis is wisdom accumulation from current area of energetic use of hydrogen and future systems. In overview is presented possible processes where dominate steam methane reforming. In main part of thesis, steam methane reforming will be analyzed and electrolysis also. Actual results will be discussed. Next part is about energetic use of hydrogen based on thermochemical properties and safety. Used of hydrogen will be divided to areas thermal generation as burner‘s section, electric generation as fuel cell‘s section, mechanical energy as combustion engine’s section and finally chemical transportation of energy. At the end will be made a promising energy systems using hydrogen as fuel which can be applied in a large scale.

The theme of the master’s thesis is to design a 60 MW single-casing steam turbine for the two-stage district water heating. The turbine is designed for cogeneration cycle, has four uncontrolled extractions and the outlet down to the heater. First, there is the thermodynamic calculation of the turbine operation with 100 % steam mass flow. Further, the detailed design of flow part with the strength calculation of blades and diaphragms is drawn. By the end of the thesis, the required operations are compared and corresponding heat balancing diagrams are listed. The thesis also includes a turbine longitudinal section.

Master’s thesis deals with design and calculation of one body condensing steam turbine of 25 MW with samples for paper-making industry. The thesis is focused on calculation of the turbine’s heat balance with two technological samples and regeneration which consists of two low pressure heaters and a deaerator with a power reservoir. The steam turbine is designed with a water cooling condenser with down output. The flow part is calculated with lengths of blades. There are basic strength and proportion calculations. In the end of the thesis the turbine’s heat balance is recalculated to 80% and 105% scheme according to an assignment. Another part of this thesis is a drawing of a longitudinal cut of the turbine including a connector with a gearbox.

This diploma work attends to presentation of steam grid boiler for wood and brown coal burning in scale (30/70-wood) in load 60t/h, with parametres of outgoing vapour p=7MPa, t=490°C. The work is splitted to several chapters. At the beginning I’m going to make stechiometric calculation and entalpic calculations of air and compustion gas. After that I’m going to calculate heat balance, losses of boiler and set heat efficiency of boiler. Then I’m going to suggest combustion chamber of boiler and make heat calculation. After suggestion of combustion chamber I’m going to set proportions of pulls and heat-delivery surface. In last chapter I’m giong to check heat balance. Inclosure of my work contains drawing documentation of steam boiler.

The aim of this master’s thesis is a retrofit of condensing three case steam turbine K300-170 with reheating. In the first part, the heat balance of the system is calculated for given parameters. The design of the flow section is focused on the combined intermediate pressure and low pressure turbine section and it consists of defining rotor and blading characteristics. In the stress control, the stress of the designed blading is checked and for the conclusion the shaft seal losses and their effect on the overall output power of the turbine are estimated. The drawing of axial section of combined intermediate pressure and low pressure turbine section is also included in the thesis.
