This thesis named Cosdensing steam turbine in combi-cycle deals with the calculation of thermal balancing scheme and the design of turbine. This double body steam turbine with combined HP-IP part and double-flow LP part does not have any additional samples of technological steam. LP part has two side outputs to the water-cooled condensers. There is a basic calculation of force effects on the LP part at operation. The thesis also includes a drawing of a longitudinal cut of LP part and its layout, including positron of the condensers.

In the beginning chapters, there are theoretic information about ESFR's parameters and its' comparison with ohter types of heat exchangers in nuclear reactors with the same principal (sodium as a coolant). Then designing part follows, which contents of introduction of calculations, option of material and conception of heater. Computational part on its own includes thermal, hydraulic and stress calculations and comparison with aspects in nuclear safety and security.

Part of the work is also drawing documentation of boiler.

The aim of the work is to design a brown coal combustion boiler of 235 t/h output. The work is divided into several parts. First, stechiometric calculations and calculations enthalpy of air and flue gas are performed. It is calculated heat balance of the boiler, the boiler losses and the thermal efficiency of the boiler is determined. After designing the combustion chamber thermal calculation is made. Then, individual heating surfaces are proposed and at the end of the calculations are controlling the overall energy balance of the boiler. For calculation was design documentation added.

The purpose of this Diploma Thesis is the construction design of the steam boiler with natural circulation for the combustion of wood biomass according to the specified parameters. It is the boiler with the power of 12 tons per hour of superheated vapor output parameters of 3,3 Mpa at a temperature of 400 °C and a temperature of feed water 105 °C. For the specified parameters I first calculated the stoichiometric calculations, boiler efficiency, and followed by using geometrical parameters of the blocks and thermal calculations set design and the number of heat transfer surfaces, depending on the input parameters of the air and water and output parameters of vapor. The work also includes drawings of the boiler.

The diploma thesis deals with the design of a high-speed steam turbine at given parameters provided by G-Team a.s. in Velka Bíteš. The introductory part briefly focuses on historical development of steam turbines, their operational principle and process of energy transformation. In the main part the machinery analysis of high-speed turbines has been carried out. In addition, a preliminary design of the number of turbine stages has been done. Furthermore, a thermodynamic calculation of flow channel for given input and output paramaters has been done together with the conception of construction design and turbogenerator layout. The final part introduces technical comparison of a one-stage and multy-stage high-speed steam turbine.

The thesis is focused on designing of condensing steam turbine with reheating for combustion of biomass. The turbine is developed to be tandem compound-regenerative with five uncontrolled extraction points. Optimization of reheating pressure is made in the turbine's cycle. The turbine outlet is constructed to lead down to the water cooled condenser. Thesis includes the calculation of heat cycle with the draft of flow channel of high pressure and middle-low pressure turbine. Detailed calculation of middle-low pressure turbine, including stress-strength analysis, is performed. The thesis provides an evaluation of flow scheme of 100 % and 75 % of generator’s power output and the drawing of middle-low pressure turbine in longitudinal section.

The calculation (thermodynamic and strength) is computed for mentioned two parts. For thermodynamic calculation is used ca/u method. In closing the design of the seal system is made.
