That all children today receive the opportunity to explore all of their capabilities is not certain at all preschools. Today there are preschools that are not able to work actively to explore the children's abilities because the large number of children and not enough teachers. Therefore I want to find out with my research how the educators would react when there is a crisis with the youngest children, the toddlers. I also want to find out different ways of acting in everyday situations at the preschool and why the teachers act in that way. I have relied on qualitative methods and I have used the critical incident method in my study. In the interviews the teachers was given three different situations that could appear at a preschool and they have then told me how they would have reacted. The results demonstrate that the educators have acted with the best interest of the children in mind and that they look at toddlers as competent at an early age. How the teachers have acted demonstrates their view of the toddlers and the awareness of how competent the toddlers are. Keywords: Toddlers, small children, teacher and preschool.

Inledning I detta examensarbete vill vi undersöka betydelsen av undervisning inom kunskapsområdet bildskapande i förskolan. På vilket sätt pedagogerna resonerar om dess betydelse och förhållningssätt utifrån deras kompetenser. Samt om och hur detta kan påverka barns utveckling och lärande i verksamheterna.   Syfte Studiens syfte är att belysa den dagliga verksamheten när barn skapar i bild i förskolan. På vilket sätt pedagoger undervisar, utvecklar och inkluderar barnen i bildskapande utifrån pedagogers förhållningssätt och kunskaper Därav har vi valt att utgå ifrån följande frågeställningar.   Metod Vi utgick utifrån studiens syfte och frågeställning där vi valde att intervjua fem pedagoger med varierande utbildningar som arbetar på olika förskolor. För att få ta del av respondenternas tankar och syn på arbetet med bildskapande som undervisning använde vi oss utav öppna intervjufrågor och får då en kvalitativ ansats.   Resultat Pedagogerna beskriver bild som en varierande undervisning i förskolan där behovet av pedagogers samsyn och kunskap gynnar barns delaktighet och lärande processer. Även miljöns påverkan lyfts i studien.
