The work deals with the inclusion of photographs in tutorial project for elementary school. The theoretical part consists of detailed information and knowledge from the history and philosophy of photography, which determine the attitudes of the photograph itself. This information is required for a proper approach to creating a tutorial project. The practical part contains a specific form of educational project "Photography, and We? for pupils in fifth class at elementary school. The educational project is based on the Frame Educational Program for Elementary Schools, in the area of Arts and Culture in the educational field of Art Education. Project "Photographs and We" consists of seven teaching units. The project itself also shows some recommendations for educational practice.

The topic of this work is "Playing in Heterogeneous Classes - Comparative Study on Kindergartens of Common versus Waldorf Type". The theoretical part deals with the definition of the pre-school aged children's need of playing, the development of playing, the need of a playing partner and the function of toys. Then it focuses on playing in the General Educational Plan for Pre-School Education, playing integration into the daily routine of a kindergarten and benefit of playing for a child and a teacher. It describes the specific features of a heterogeneous group of children and their relationship to playing. It also discusses the characteristics of a Waldorf kindergarten. In the end of the part the School Educational Plan of the studied schools is shown. The practical part of this work is based on monitoring children during their free playing time in the chosen kindergartens. The time daily devoted to free playing, the ways the teachers react to free playing and which types of playing are most common were the objectives of the research. The work then names toys recommended for a heterogeneous class by the teachers, toys chosen by children, how younger children are integrated into the older children's playing and vice versa. Charakteristika odlišných pojetí výuky matematiky na příkladu dvou učitelů gymnázia / Characteristics of Different Teaching Styles on the Example of Two Secondary Mathematics Teachers

The goal of this thesis is to describe teaching styles of two secondary mathematics teachers with very different approaches. One of them represents traditional frontal instruction and one prefers students to be more actively involved in the learning process. Their styles are compared based on their teaching a concrete mathematical topic, namely plane analytic geometry of lines. Examined teaching styles (frontal instruction and so-called realistic education) and selected research with a similar focus are described in the theoretical part of the thesis. The research consisted of observations in lessons of both teachers and a final test for their students. The acquired data has been analyzed by qualitative and quantitative methods. The teacher representing traditional frontal instruction emphasizes practising and explaining the new topic. Problems are solved by herself or one chosen student on the blackboard. Questions, which she is asking, require mainly short answers and are focused on reproduction of the previously learnt knowledge. During the lessons of the teacher who is the creator and also an exponent of the so-called realistic education, students are solving problems independently. I deal with philosophy and with influences of most important people, atmosphere of 17th century, significant finding and inventions and his live on his work. Comenius was great thinker of education and pedagogue in praxis and metodology. This is another part of my work, I focused on education in praxis and of course his work in books. I mention ODO - Opera didactica omnia, huge work of pedagogic metodology and Obecná porada o nápravě věcí lidských - his masterpiece. This work have to unify his work in one big complex. Than I am trying to compare it with our today reality and find similar problems in our school and education proces.

The thesis Experience in teaching Czech language at lower-secondary school is focused on the implementation of experiential learning into the Czech language teaching. The thesis consists of two parts. The theoretical part describes the main principles and methods of experiential learning and their use in the context of the Czech language teaching. The practical part presents actual lesson plans, in which principles and methods are used. The lesson plans are focused on teaching communication and acquiring active knowledge of Czech syntax, lexicology and semantics. Based on the experience of implementing of activities in teaching Czech language at the 6th grade of lower-secondary school, the author of the thesis explains importance of the experience in Czech language teaching. The results show the experience could be used effectively in the Czech teaching methodology.

This diploma thesis presents monographic study that deals with the autonomy of schools in the context of the idea of the Waldorf School and philosophical convictions of its founder Rudolf Steiner. The content itself brings a particular identification, analysis and description of the basic principles of Steiner's ideas of Social Threefolding. For better grip and insights into this topic in the introductory chapters with the concept of autonomy as the general context, and given directly to the school autonomy. Further insight on school administration and local government and various school systems in the European area. The work also includes historical and political context of the time of different directions of reform pedagogy 19th and 20th century, which proved, among other things, as one of the key conditions for understanding the concept of free Waldorf school Rudolf Steiner and the conditions under which it was created. This thesis examines change of classroom climate in lower secondary school. In the theoretical part, issues of classroom climate, experiential pedagogy, adaptation courses and form teacher lessons are described from the perspective of different authors. The thesis introduces basic approaches for diagnosing classroom climate. It also gives instructions for management of form teacher lessons. B-3 questionnaire determines the current classroom climate and subsequent effects of the adaptation course among the respondents. Form teacher lessons are reported in this thesis, whose effect is also measured by the B-3 questionnaire in a longer period of the adaptation course. The results of the questionnaire investigation point to the need for regular form teacher lessons, in which the formation of a friendly climate in the classroom is realized.

This diploma thesis deals with primary school student's preconceptions of church influenced by experience. The theoretical part summarizes the findings connected to the issues of children's preconceptions and their importance in the process of learning. It describes recommended techniques of working with children's preconceptions and it informs about factors which influence children's understandings. The following chapter concentrates on the definition of outreach and its value in children's lives. Furthermore, the thesis shows the connection of the term church with the Framework Education Programme for Elementary Education, especially in the section of spiritual and social studies. The next chapter focuses on social studies in general and also on cultural universals as a possible resolution of the issues in social studies. The empirical part describes lectures in a church for primary school students which develop children's understandings of the term church. The diploma thesis suggests an improved design as an innovation of the lectures. Children's preconceptions of church are researched through individual interviews with pupils.
