This diploma thesis is focused on possibilities of civil and social/scientific basis education along with use of activities of the Jewish museum in Prague and its action. Theoretical part of the thesis compares three different perspectives of the museum as an institution and represents museological, pedagogical and museum- pedagogical knowledge. Furthermore, this part describes the relation between the museum and school as well as the museum and society. This part also contains characteristics of the Jewish museum activities and its history. Last passage of theoretical part includes a presentation of project education as a form of teaching. Practical part involves education project on human rights subject for students of secondary school. Theoretical part of the diploma thesis is based on study of technical literature, practical part comes out from Framework Education Programme for Secondary General Education. My diploma thesis on the Using board games in the Czech language lesson in primary school is divided into two parts. The first part deals with theoretical starting points based on experiential and constructivist pedagogy. It focuses on the game from several points of view - as a free activity and joy during life and as a didactic method in which pupils' education is realized, a class climate is formed and a board game is applied. Further there are described places where you can play board games outside the school environment. The second part is devoted to the production of my own board games and their subsequent use in the teaching of the Czech language in the fourth year of primary school. In conclusion, I reflect on their suitability for teaching, highlight their advantages, possible pitfalls and suitable variations and forms of gradation. Adaptace absolventů sociální pedagogiky na trhu práce / Adaptation of Social Pedagogy Graduates to the Labor Market

This diploma thesis focused on the situation of Social pedagogy graduates in the labor market. It has a theoretical-empirical character. The theoretical part focus on Social pedagogy as a science and its contemporary position within the Czech legislation. Further it lists study possibilities of Social pedagogy in the Czech Republic, defines the possible scope of social educators and deals with the topic of graduates' adaptation to the labor market in general. The empirical part is devoted to research with seven respondents. The method used in this thesis is in-depth interviews. The research identifies challenges the graduates were facing while finding a job and while performing their profession, what made the adaptation proces easier and vice versa more difficult. The research showed that despite no legal definition of social pedagogy as a profession, graduates had no problems to find a job. However, the perceived difficulty for them, for example, was an inaccurate idea of using the gained experience. Respondents also made recommendations to current social pedagogy students. Most often mentioned was a recommendation to find own specialization in the social pedagogy while still studying.

In the third chapter we deal with context of time and history and their importance for man and human society. The fourth chapter tries to capture the meaning of human existence and follows another chapter that tries to find out possible causes that can lead to a loss of meaning of life. The last part, devoted to free time a leisure education, aimed to show the possibilities and limits of a free time educator in helping to meaningfully live.

The thesis deals with the topic of psychological aspects which are essential for the work of social pedagogue in the area of social work. It deals with individual psychological aspects selected by comparison of the specific literature and researches in that area. Chosen terms consist of social interaction, social communication, social intelligence and empathy. Social communication emphasizes social pedagogical communication which is used by the social pedagogue during the communication process with clients. Further, it specifies the problematics of social interaction as a basis of the creation of interpersonal relationships. The thesis defines basic paradigms in the area of social intelligence and social competence, especially it deals with the term of social skill. Specifically, it shows the skill of active listening, which is classified as a basis of dialogue with clients. At the end the thesis emphasizes the significance of empathy among helping professions, it defines models and theories of empathy. The aim of the thesis concerns the definition of individual psychological aspects in the work of social pedagogue in the area of social work and classify them to the context of helping profession.

This thesis examines how can Montessori teaching aids be used for educating persons with Down syndrome. It describes Down syndrome and mental disability that is associated with it, listing also the options for educating persons with Down syndrome by development stage. It provides an overview of Montessori pedagogics, its history, concepts and principles, and its status in the Czech Republic. It classifies Montessori pedagogics in terms of general didactics theory, and introduces Montessori therapy. The author connects Montessori to other human- centric didactic and pedagogical systems, such as structured teaching, global reading approach, Reuven Feuerstein's Instrumental Enrichment, sensory activation, basal stimulation, and psychobiography. She explains the role of teaching aids in the Montessori system and describes the materials she is using in her lessons for persons with Down syndrome. The aim and structure of such lessons are described, together with how to work with clients and their families. The author emphasizes the importance of entry diagnostics, and presents three case studies of her clients. Teaching Aids Book is attached to the thesis, presenting 92 aids. The diploma thesis deals with the educational influence of the subject of creative drama on psychosocial development of pupils with special learning difficulties (SLD) on 1st grade of Waldorf school. The work is focused mainly on the development of communication skills, respecting the boundaries, instructions and cooperation in the classroom using methods and techniques of drama education with pupils with SLD in 2nd half of 2nd grade and 1st half of 3rd class. The theoretical part defines the four basic parts of this diploma thesis psychosocial development of children of younger school age, special learning difficulties (SLD), accompanying phenomena and their influence on the psychosocial development of the child, characteristics of Waldorf school, methods and techniques of drama education. The practical part deals with the development of communication, cooperation, observance of rules, understanding of the topic and the ability of its interpretation of individuals and the whole group in the lessons of creative drama. In the lessons, we experienced key themes of the Waldorf School. The whole process is recorded and evaluated using record sheets from each lesson.

Lenka Volfová DEPARTMENT: Department of Biology and Enviromnental Studies (Katedra biologie a enviromnentálních studií) SUPERVISOR: PhDr. Kateřina Jančaříková, Ph.D. ABSTRACT: This thesis explores interspecies communication and, specifically, natural communication between the man and the horse. Through comparative research based on a programme developed by Ing. Josef Liška (Liška Solutions) for the assessment of the participant's personality, employing several exercises with a horse from the ground, the thesis aims at introducing ways in which horses can be used for the purposes of personal growth. For the purposes of this thesis, volunteers from three groups were assessed under this programme using the method of direct observation: teachers, business executives and people who work with animals. The assessment was carried out by marking down points and comments. On the basis of the results obtained, the above three groups were subsequently compared among one another. The research shows that teachers excelled in six out of seven observed personal competencies while, compared to business executives, there is still space for improvement in terms of their energy. children's lifestyle řešen problém pedagogiky volného času především z hovného. Záměrem této studie je zkoumat vlivy volnočasových aktivit na dítě. Její hlavní otázka směřuje k volnočasovým aktivitám dětí a budoucí životní styl, přístup dalšímu vzdělávání či výběru profesní dráhy. Klade si oblastech působí pravidelná sportovní činnost na rozdělena na část teoretickou a teoretické části se autorka věnuje popisu středisek volného času z různých pohledů, dále oblasti pedagogiky volného času, různým činnostem, mapuje oblast životního stylu dětí a sportovní aktivity. Součástí teorie jsou také profesní orientaci. Empirická část obsahuje kvalitativní výzkum. Výzkumné šetření bylo provedeno pomocí polostrukturovaných rozhovorů a dotazníků, výsledky byly následně analyzovány. Empirická část zjišťuje, v jakých oblastech působí pravidelná sportovní činnost na životě dětí, které byly sportovními aktivitami nejvíce ovlivněny.
