In this thesis will be studied the modern political parties and their media presentation. The thesis focuses on the relations between political parties, business sector and journalism. The author tries to answer the question, what do the political parties do to create positive image in the media, especially in the media of public servis. The studies of this thesis wil be done on the basic principles of text analysis using the lingvistical classification of illocutionary and perlocutionary acts. The thesis also focuses on the journalistic ethics, the new theories of the media studies and new types of political parties, especially the libertarian parties (according to Herbert Kitschelt) and business political parties as are defined the first of all by Jonathan Hopkin a Caterina Paolucci. The practical part discusses the elections to the Parliament of the Czech Republic held in 2013 or in 2017. Only those parties which have crossed the electoral clause are being examined in the thesis.

What is the rationale behind immigration policies? Do developed countries really want to restrict immigration?

Diplomová práce se zabývá hospodářskou spoluprácí mezi Německem a Sovětským svazem v letech 1939-1941. Nejprve analyzuje vzájemné vztahy po nástupu A. Hitlera k moci, posléze rozebírá uzavření hlavní smlouvy -Paktu Ribbentrop-Molotov a následně popisuje hospodářskou spolupráci z této smlouvy vyplývající.

This work analyses the development of Russian Federation during the presidency of V. Putin in years 2000-2008. It is especially concentrated on the internal development. It starts by summarizing of the Yeltsin period to understand the background, V. Putin was entering into, and to compare both systems in their continuity or difference. Concerning internal affairs, the work focuses on political consolidation, economic stabilization and the evolution of the Russian society. In foreign affairs, it analyses Russia's attitudes towards great powers like EU, USA or China. It mentions also the relations with the post-Soviet countries. Last but not least, the work brings a conclusion about the Russian identity and success of the reforms.

The topic of the final thesis is the impact of oil on economic and political stability of petro-states. The first chapter summarizes basic data about oil, its reserves, production and consumption, as well as about oil trade and oil prices. Basic information about OPEC is included in this chapter.The second chapter includes different theories about effects of oil wealth on economic, political and social development in petro-states. The third chapter is an attempt to apply theories from chapter two on OPEC countries. The aim of the thesis is to present impacts of oil on OPEC countries.

The aim of this thesis is to answer the question of how to influence the votes promises of the votes results of selected political parties.. Investigated periods are covering the years 1992-2010. Work first clarifies the votes issue as such, it focuses on the theoretical basis for creating a decision-making model. The analytical part is focused primarily on specific promises, their measurement and evaluation of occurrence. To confirm or refute the fact that they have had election promises to influence the election model is used multicriteria analysis. Finally, the promises are evaluated along with their performance and the model is enhanced of their performance.

This thesis is focused on analyzing the reforms of the electoral system in Ukraine, during the period from gaining independence to the present. The main goal is to determine the reasons of the electoral reforms, and which political entities have become initiators of those changes in case of (non) existence inherent factors. The hypothesis of the thesis is whether political entities sought to maintain or strengthen its position in the Parliament, rather than contribute to the improvement of the electoral process.

This master thesis aims to analyze the facts concerning the political communication of Silvio Berlusconi and Andrej Babis and their political and business careers. The works tries to define the basic concepts of political communication and subsequently analyze them in the comparison with those politicians. Among the other things, the effect of the media which could enabled their entrance to the politics and influence the meanings of the public opinion as well as their political history and used communication techniques has been taken into consideration.

The thesis deals with marginally explored area of expert capacities of the Czech political parties with respect to the different organizational types of selected political parties and movements. The work aims to find out what expert capacities work for these types of political parties, how these experts are recruited in their position, whether it corresponds to their educational background and professional experiences with function, which are they holding in the expert authority. Work is elaborated in the form of case study, which focuses on the activities of defense policy expert commissions. The text is divided into two theoretical and one empirical chapters. The first chapter deals with the process of policy-making, its actors and activities associated with this process. The second chapter defines the various types of political parties first from the mainstream perspective (cadre, mass, catch-all parties), which complements the modern concept of business party and finally there is a typology of S. Wolinetz (office-seeking, vote-seeking, policy-seeking parties). The last empirical chapter presents the case study focused on four Czech political parties (TOP 09, KSČM, ČSSD and political movement ANO 2011) and their access to party expertise. The result of this work is to compare the level of analytical capacity across selected political parties/movements and testing of hypotheses formulated in the introduction of the thesis.

The Slovak political party system was shaken by new political parties, that emerged just recently and strongly influenced the political scene. The aim of the paper was to find out, what was the key of success of the the new political parties, which made it to the parliament in the parliamentary elections in June 2010 and in march 2012. In order to reach this goal I research the circumstances which lead to the establishment of these parties, their election program, the governmental period, the campaign and the role of the party leader. The paper is divided into four chapters, out of which the chapter one is dedicated to the teoretical background and definitions, the second chapter is putting light on the Slovak party and election system, the chapter three and four are the analytical core of the paper, in which I analyze the the political parties SaS, Most-Híd and OĽaNO in the above mentioned areas. I conclude the analytical part by the anlysis of the election results do the Slovak parliament in year 2010 and the preliminary election in the year 2012.
