Mediální reflexe negativní předvolební kampaně do PSČR v letech 2002,2006 a 2010 / Media reflection of negative parliamentary election campaign in 2002,2006 and 2010

Pistulková, Petra January 2011 (has links)
Diploma thesis focuses on media reflection of negative Czech parliamentary election campaign in 2002, 2006 and 2010. The main goal of this thesis is to find out, whether media did reflect at the time the use of negative political marketing by Czech political parties in the way Czech political scientists describe it. Theoretical part explains the principles of political marketing and characterises parliamentary election campaign in 2002, 2006 and 2010. Empirical part gathers results of quantitative content analysis that were made for each pre- election period 13 weeks before elections in Hospodářské noviny, Lidové noviny and Mladá fronta DNES. The results of quantitative analysis did not confirm the hypothesis that those researched newspapers would in the period of 13 weeks before election reflect higher use of negative political marketing.

Převod prvků jazykové expresivity při simultánním tlumočení / Linguistic Elements of Expressivity in French to Czech Simultaneous

Herák, Jakub January 2015 (has links)
The central focus of this Master's thesis is to describe the ways the elements of linguistic expressivity used in political speeches are transformed in French-to-Czech simultaneous interpreting. In the introductory part of the present thesis, we provide a summary of previous research on the means of expressivity in political speeches, which is completed by a description of the process of simultaneous interpreting. In this way, we intend to define possibilities of transfer of expressive elements in the French-to-Czech language combination. The second part consists of an in-depth contrastive analysis of original French and Czech political speeches followed by a comparison of the former with their interpreted versions. In the third step, we compared the original Czech speeches with interpretations. Using our own methodology, we assessed collected data and came to the conclusion that in French-to- Czech simultaneous interpreting, expressivity rate decreases. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)

Rabitsch Adamčíková, Jitka January 2015 (has links)
. Jitka Rabitsch Aamčíková The aim of this thesis is the critical analysis of political influence of Andrej Babis through his ownership of the Czech daily Mlada Fronta DNES. The purpose of the work is the display of political content in the Czech media, especially in relation to elections. This reflection is viewed through the lens of political parallelism complemented by an introduction to political communication. The methodological outline is followed by the analytical part using a quantitative content analysis which focuses on the presentation of four political parties in the Czech daily Mlada Fronta. This thesis tests the hypothesis whether the media picture of competing political parties during the Czech local elections 2014 was influenced by the fact that the entrepreneur and politician Andrej Babis is the owner of the Mlada Fronta.

Rétorické figury v překladech politických projevů (70. a 80. léta 20. století) / Rhetorical Figures in the Translation of Political Speeches (the 1970s and 1980s)

Tihelková, Martina January 2011 (has links)
The diploma work is divided into two parts - theoretical and practical. The first part is further divided into the theoretical linguistic subsection and theoretical political science subsection. The theoretical linguistic part comprises information on metaphors, metonymies and synecdoches taken from Czech and Spanish linguistic handbooks and is focused on a phenomenon of levelling and it also deals with the function of the aforementioned rhetorical figures. In the first part there is also a chapter on the rhetorical style and translation of rhetorical figures. The second, practical part deals with the analysis of the rhetorical figures in selected political speeches, their function, frequency and possible levelling when translating them into the target language. The analysis is carried out on the basis of a comparable sample of political speeches in the Czech and Spanish languages. They are the speeches of two important personalities of the 1970s, President Ludvík Svoboda's speeches in the Czech language and in terms of the Spanish linguistic background - the speeches of his Chilean counterpart - President Salvador Allende, and their Czech translation. Key words: levelling, metaphor, metonymy, synecdoche, translation, political speech

Politický proces s Dagmar Šimkovou a spol. / The political process with Dagmar Šimková and others

Blažek, Lukáš January 2011 (has links)
The theme of this dissertation is the "Political trial with Dagmar Šimková and others". The aim of my work was to deal with this case of a young condemned in a political trial, to observe it in a larger context and to describe in general an important period of Czechoslovakia history, the fifties and sixties of 20th century on this concrete example. In my work I dealt with four hypothesis. The first one was that the case of Dagmar Šimková as a part of a larger action called "Deserters" was provocated by States security. Second hypothesis was that there was no statewide organised spy group lead by Bohumil Klíma or anyone else whose Dagmar Šimková had been a member and that there were only many people who - in some cases - only knew each other and with no other intention helped two deserters to hide. The third hypothesis I set in my work was that the trial was a political one which fulfiled the main characteristics of a political trial. And the last hypothesis I worked with was that althoug Dagmar Šimková was sentenced in a political trial, she intentionally did an illegal activity she was sentenced for. However, her social dangerousness was not as big as it was described in the sentence. The disertation is divided into three main parts. In the first part, I tried to focus in general on the basis which...

Parlamentní systémy / Parliamentary systems

Brablecová, Martina January 2012 (has links)
The topic of my thesis are parliamentary systems. For this topic I have decided mainly on the grounds that the Czech Republic ranks among countries with a parliamentary form of government, like most of European countries. The work is divided into seven chapters, which are subsequently divided into different subsections or other parts. At the beginning of my work I have engaged in the general concept of political systems. The view of this chapter is mainly to introduce readers to the topic and to acquaint them with the basic types of democratic political systems, which includes particular the parliamentary, presidential and semi-presidential systems. The second chapter is engaged in parliamentary systems and their basic definitions. This chapter contains the theoretical foundation for the whole work and especially introduces readers with the basic principles upon which these systems work. Among these principles is included especially the principle separation of powers which is not too strictly interpreted, the sovereignty of Parliament and the specific relationships between the executive and legislature. In the third chapter I have dealt with the relationships between the supreme constitutional organs, as well as their position in the constitutional system. This issue is very important, just as relations...

Obraz českých politických stran / The image of Czech political parties

Havelková, Markéta January 2015 (has links)
In this thesis I compare two images of political parties, the image that the parties themselves trying to create through the contents of their election programs, with the image of the political parties perceived by the public. This research topic is a reaction to theories questioning the importance of the electoral programs of the political struggle in recent years. I also take into account the electoral preferences of individual respondents during the analysis. I will use data from public opinion polls for my research on secondary data analysis and other research method will be content analysis.
