ABSTRACT Nowadays, more and more often we hear about children who are attacked by dogs. The media constantly inform us about fighting breeds and their attacks on humans. Number of dogs in the household significantly increases and posibility of injury of the child by our four-legged partner is increasing too. This situation requires a solution. Media accused of assaulting an animal, unfortunately very often the culprit is not even a dog or child. Thesis on ?The awareness of pupils of first and second class ofthe first level of basic schools on the ethology of dogs ? is based on the author's practical experience with objective reality. The author herself, which is devoted to dogs more than 15 years, also tried to capture the degree of knowledge of school age children on the natural behavior of our four-legged domestic ?pets?. Through her own research, conducted by standardized questionnaires at selected basic schools in the South Bohemia region (in total 284 respondents) reveals the primary mistakes committed by these children in contact with their own or strange dog. The theoretical part is devoted to common cohabitation of children (or people) and dogs. Various chapters are focused on the historical evolution of domestic dog, the coexistence of humans and dogs, and communication sinals, which they use to interact among themselvest, but also on the impact of a dog on the psyche of the child. The research revealed significant gaps in knowledge regarding children's innate behavior of the dog. For this reason children can not adequately respond to a signal that is sent by a dog, so there can arise a hazardous situation between them. At the end of thesis the author proposes a practical solution that could serve as a basic for a new educational program aimed at preventiv injuries caused by dogs attack the children.

The theoretical part of the thesis scrutinizes the principles of awareness raising and noticing in language teaching. Furthermore, it focuses on their implementation in pronunciation teaching and examines the possible limitations to these approaches imposed by learners' age and level of cognitive development. The practical part presents a research which consists of designing a battery of pronunciation activities promoting noticing and awareness raising, followed by their pilotage in five different groups of elementary school pupils. The aim of the research is to determine whether the piloted activities result in young learners noticing the target pronunciation features. The results of the research suggest positive impact of the noticing and awareness raising activities even among the pupils at lower stage of cognitive development. The goal of this thesis is to introduce readers with the current state of the market of social networks in the Czech Republic with major focus on evolution of user perception of market rookie -- Google+ -- and with focus on success evaluation of marketing activities led to support this service. All this evaluation is done thanks to a research. The master thesis is split into 3 units, which gradually describe current perception of social networks, their definition and also the situation on the Czech market. After deeper description of Google+, the research is described. This research is led in order to allow obtaining data that would allow for comparison of situation before and after execution of above mentioned marketing activities executed during summer of 2012. Final unit of this paper focuses on the research data analysis in order to extract the evolution of awareness and of usage of compared social network and of course to offer very detailed look on Google+ itself and to offer the evaluation of efficiency of the marketing activities.

Povědomí studentů sociální práce a práva o rodinné mediaci / Awareness of the students of social work and law about family mediation

The theoretical part describes mediation, especially its specifics, the mediator and their education. Furthermore, I focus on the family and the child in context of family conflict, social work, law related to mediation and awareness do mediation as an alternative way of solving problems. The empirical part is a quantitative research on awareness of the family mediation among students of social work and law. Firstly, I compared the educational plans of particular programs. Secondly, I created online questionnaires and examined their results. As the additional method I used a structured interview with chief executive officer of Český mediátor company. The survey obtained 100 respondents, 47 student of law, 53 students of social work and one important for the interview. It was found that both students of social work and law have no mandatory subjects on mediation. They can only have it optionally. Based on the questionary survey it was proven that students of social work knew family mediation in terms of its process better than students of law. Surprisingly, students of social work are often interested in family mediation in their future profession. When it comes to the overview of frequency of the usage of the family mediation the results are almost identical for both groups. Both students knew that...

The diploma thesis deals with the issue of phonological abilities of children with dyslalia in preschool age. The main goal of the thesis lies therefore in the analysis of the phonological abilities of the stated target group. Based on the main goal, partial objectives and research questions were defined. A method of qualitative research strategy - a case study was used to fulfil the objectives of the thesis. To gather the data, test methods and analysis of the available documents were used. To create a comprehensive picture of the monitored children, the methods mentioned above were supplemented with an interview with a clinical speech therapist. The thesis is divided into two parts, the theoretical part and the empirical part. The theoretical part consists of three chapters. The first chapter deals with the definition of key terms such as communication, communication skills, as well as the development of speech, language and communication. In this chapter, attention is paid also to a preschool child. The second chapter describes the issue of phonological abilities, which are presented in the context of the phonetic- phonological language level. The last chapter looks into the issue of dyslalia. This diploma thesis shows regional branding, especially regional brands associated in the Association of Regional Brands (ARZ), which is given to products. The marked products guarantee their extraordinary quality, tradition, specificity, proportion of manual work and respect for the environment. The author chose one of all brands in ARZ - i. e. Kraj blanických rytířů - regionální produkt(registered mark). In the theoretical part, there are issue of regional branding and key words connected with regional branding explained. The practical part deals with marketing research, in particular a qualitative and a quantitative method such as structured interviews and questionnaire survey. These methods will assure conduct of research essential for the objectives of the thesis. As for the main aim of the thesis, it is to find out consumers´ brand awareness and their attitude to the regional brand Kraj blanických rytířů - regionální produkt(registered mark). Findings of producers´ views on current system of the regional branding and regional co-ordinator´s activities are other aims of the thesis. This part also contains all results of the research including an assessment of established hypotheses. In conclusion, the proposals to the improvement of consumers´ brand awareness come.
