This thesis focuses on balancing work and family as a crucial aspect of family policies of European countries that are in this area considered to be successful regard to higher levels of fertility. Its aim is to identify real possibilities how to modernize specific parameter of the family policy in the Czech Republic in response to the ongoing shift in attitudes of young generation who choose alternative family and reproductive strategies than the previous generation. The work summarizes the findings of population economics, demography, sociology and gender studies, which supports to compile a more comprehensive analysis. The thesis used a comparative analysis method to assess the selected key instruments to balance work and family in the Czech Republic and selected European countries - France, Austria and Sweden. The thesis evaluates the rate and manner of their use and also an optimality of the institutional environment in terms of creating appropriate conditions for the reconciliation of family and gender roles.

Harmonizace osobního a pracovního života / Harmonization of the personal life and working life

The thesis deals with the combination of the personal life and working life. The target of the thesis is the analysis of necessity to bring in harmony both roles of young people in the age of 20-35 years; the question is if they try to combine the personal life with the professional life and also if they consider the female and male role in present society as equal from the viewpoint of opportunities for the development of work carrier. The analysis of combination of the personal life with working life consists of three stages. The first stage, analysis of conflict of ideas with reality, was elaborated based on the results of investigation having the form of a questionnaire. The output of the second stage, analysis of personal experience of the interrogated persons, are results of individual personal talks deepening the quantitative research which. The last stage is the analysis of strengths and weaknesses. Based on them and based on the theoretical principles acquired from the professional literature, the recommendations were formulated which should result in a more effective harmonization of the personal life and working life.

This diploma thesis deals with employee benefits. The main target is to propose a system of employee benefits for new companies entering the region of Hodonín. Employee satisfaction was analysed by using questionnaires in three selected companies running their business in region of Hodonín. The results obtained from the selected companies were compared and a proposal of benefits for new companies in the region was created based on them. An additional target of the thesis is to confirm or refute hypothesis about employment change when employees are not supplied with employee benefits depending on the age of respondents.

In this diploma thesis the effects of selected physical quantity of the working environment on human health are summarized. For each factor is given possible way how to protect workers from its negative effects. Limit values that must be followed are determined in the applicable legislation. The aim of this work is to compare and evaluate values measured at the site of the University Campus of Masaryk University in Brno with these limits and conclude if the health of workers is not threatened and to determine the category of work employee is assigned in terms of Decree no. 432/2003 Sb. which determines the conditions for job categories, these employees are within. Based on these findings, subsequently identify possible corrective measures.

Master thesis is focused on identifying factors that influence employers in the selection of a suitable candidate for the word position, and the factors that influence students as jobseekers. It is divided into literary review and results. The literary review deals with the position of university graduates, labor market and human resource management. A partial aim is to identify differences in the factors that influence students in the bachelor and master´s degree as jobseekers. The second partial aim is to compare the factors, that are important for student with factors, that are in the selection of a suitable candidate for work position important for empoyers. In the results part there are evaluated the questionnaires, which were completed by 301 students of final semesters Faculty of Business and Economics, Mendel University in Brno and 354 employers registered in the Portal of Practical Training Faculty of Business and Economics, Mendel University. The questionnaire research was conducted in the period June to September 2016.

Studied area is located in the vicinity of the Old Brno Mendel Square, which currently operates as a transport hub. This is the area of the former factory Krass and a connected area towards the Brno Exhibition Centre. My intention was to create a pleasant site for a comfortable accommodation with facilities, services and shops. Public spaces for recreation with plenty of green for a harmonious environment where people like to spend time after coming home from work. The proposal is the most appropriate combination function, so that the streets were never empty. When I came out of formation conditions of the existing building traditions from the surrounding construction. Most buildings in the locality has a business parter, the courtyard is then oriented recreational facilities to their residents. The whole area is lined with a barrier of higher buildings. As the starting area of the square Mendlovo and exhibition is considered a shopping center with arcade. Below the center is also located car park. In the middle of the square is located, is easily identifiable by high-rise landmark - the chimney heat. Floors territory ranges from 4 to 12 floors with a gradation towards the center. The location is surrounded by traffic and be served a few strokes, so I tried to do not let in a lot of cars.

Závislá práce v oblasti modelingu / Dependent work in the area of modeling

This diploma thesis concerns legal relations in the modeling sector, particularly between models and their agencies. Its aim is to analyze present contracts, rights and duties and to discuss them from the perspective of labor law. A hypothesis is presented which assumes that those relations are de facto relations between workers and their employers despite the form and name of the agreement between contract parties, which refers to it as a business deal. The thesis consists of two main chapters. The first of them introduces the concept of "dependent work," which is used by the Czech legislation to determine which relations should be regulated by the labor law. It covers the reasons for such a concept, argues with the present legal criteria of dependent work and offers other approaches for identifying it. The second chapter deals with the practical problems present in the professional modeling branch. It shows the display of standard modeling work in the Czech Republic and the poor legal standing of models. By exploring the contracts and content of practical modeling work and judging whether they meet the criteria of dependent work, the thesis proves its hypothesis, namely that modeling in the context of the Czech legal system should be considered an employer-employee relationship.
