This diploma thesis is focusing on use of Botanical garden of Faculty of Science, Charles University in Prague by teachers as a destination for class field trips. Teachers use this garden with different objectives and different intensity. This diploma thesis provides a summary of this using by the processing of the survey, which took place in elementary school teachers and high school teachers. This work is testing the following hypotheses: 1. Teachers with length of practice above twenty years use the field trip less than teachers with length of practice under twenty years. 2. Men use guided tours more than women. 3. High school teachers use geopark for tour more than elementary school teachers. 4. Teachers with length of practice above twenty years visit gardens other than Faculty of Science, Charles University in Prague and the Botanical Garden in Prague Troja less than teachers with length of practice under twenty years. The thesis summarizes basic information about the field trip as an organizational form. The thesis also deals with the Botanical Garden of faculty of science Charles University in Prague, its collections, history, and possibilities of using in schools.

The main objective of this thesis is the description and evaluation of the position of germen speaking architects acting in Prague in the period of First Republic in Czechoslovakia. After defining the terminology and social context the thesis sorts out the broad group of German speaking architects into two circles according to their cultural surrounding. The thesis shows existing reasons for assorting the architects inclining to purely German culture and to the cultural environment influenced by German and Czech at the same time. The position of German speaking architects is constituted by the references in the press and literature, educational institutions, association activities and role of building owners. The thesis contribution is the reflexion of the German speaking architects in their remaining memories and periodicals.

Title of the thesis: Daniel Essertier from the Czech point of view This work is dedicated to the life and work of Daniel Essertier (1888-1931), French philosopher and sociologist, who was sent to Prague in 1920 by the French Government to become a professor at the newly established French Institute, at that time a major French cultural institution in former Czechoslovakia. The aim of this work is to research thoroughly as much detail as possible so as to reconstruct the life of this gifted thinker whose life was ended by a tragic accident. Therefore upon reporting his scientific activities, the thesis will then reconstruct the untreated fraction of the history of the French Institute in Prague and the Czech-French relations. In the introduction of theoretical part, a sport discipline In line skating is described. Legislative aspect together with use of cycle paths is considered.The second chapter describes system of cyclopaths in the cities. Following chapters are describing the concept of parks and cyclopaths development in the rural area until 2020. Next, the work establishes criteria for evaluation of locations discussed in charter 5. Theoretical part of this work discusses in chapter six general rules for cyclopaths and park use. In chapter seven traffic signalization and in line skaters' equipment are discussed. Further chapters focus on sport and safety equipment. In the end of theoretical part of chapter ten and eleven I comment on particularities of in line skating education for children 7- 10 years old. Practical part describes mapping and evaluation of 10 selected cyclopaths located on the left side of Vltava River and close surroundings in chapter 12-13. The aim of diploma thesis Teachers personality in the 21st century is to point out the importance of the human spiritual dimension, as well as the importance of personality development of every teacher. The thesis is trying to disclose which of the challenges are teachers facing nowadays and how the students and pupils themselves are affected by their lecturers. The paper describes the transformation of the teacher's role in present-day society. Two different approaches in teachers training are presented and compared - classical higher education and Waldorf education. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with the definition of the personality concept regarding a psychological point of view, as well as the definition of teacher education paradigm transformation relating to key competences and professional teachers standards. One section of the text is describing the basic principles of Waldorf pedagogy. The empirical part consists of an analysis of two different teacher education approaches, obtained through interviews with representatives of the Faculty of Education of Charles University in Prague and Freie Hochschule in Stuttgart. V Neposlední řadě se snažím zmapovat mladou českou scénu po roce 2000, kde poukazuji na fakt, že mladý český film je momentálně v nejlepší kondici.

The title of my master's thesis is Karel Pivoňka and Academy of Performing Arts in Prague and bassoon class from the beginning to the present. In the first chapter is the development of czech bassoon school and everything that preceded the bassoon class of Academy of Performing Arts. In the first chapter is subchapter where I mention the personality of Karel Bidlo, which also had an effect on the development of czech bassoon school. In the second chapter I discuss Academy of Performing Arts, the school and individual departments. In the third chapter describes the personality of Karel Pivoňka and in the subchapter are listed all the graduates of the Conservatory and the Academy of Performing Arts, which studied at prof. Karel Pivoňka. In the following chapter are the most significant graduates from the beginning to the present. The last chapter is an overview of most concerts and broadcasts for radio, which played Karel Pivoňka. Annex is scanned photo of Karel Pivoňka.
