Thesis prepares the project aimed on building the base in municipality Boskovštejn. Implementer of the project is non-government organization Neptun Znojmo. Main aim of the thesis is proposal of the most efficient form of the project funding. The financial analysis of the implementer, together with the analysis of national and European funding was used to achieve the objective. The cost benefit analysis of all proposed variants of funding was used to determine the ideal form of project funding. On the basis of previous findings was determined, that the implementer should use the subsidies form Znojmo together with the commercial loan to achieve efficient form of project funding. The results of the thesis can help Neptun determine if they want to implement the project or not.

The diploma thesis deals with project management in Business Intelligence, a relatively new area of information systems. The first part of the thesis describes basic background of project management in general and some specifics of information systems project management. As one of the fundamental concepts, thinking about a project within its lifecycle is accented. The practical part examines the challenges of managing BI projects in a real financial institution in the Czech Republic. The aim of this section is to fill gaps in the existing project methodology of the financial institution by creating a mapping between the project lifecycle and processes of world-renowned PMBOK methodology.

The goal of the disertation is valuation of economic effectiveness of the project of building and operation of data centre (telehouse centre). The theoretical part contains basic principles and methods of risk analysis of investment project (break event point, sensitivity analysis), the description of preparation and realisation of investment project, planning of cash flow, determination of discount rate, the possible ways of finance of investment project, the methods of valuation of effectiveness investments. The practical part contains the analysis of telecommunication market, Porters model of competitive powers in the sphere of telecommunication firm, specification of the costs of the project, price statement of Serverhousing, the plan of costs, plan of profit and lost statement, the determination of net present value.

In the fifth part of the thesis the author returns to mistakes at the level of project management, which negatively affected the time plan and financial plan of the project. The final part summarizes the results of analyzes, summarizes the objectives and identifies the expected benefits of the thesis.

The diploma thesis deals with the proposal of the future spin-off of the company, which will be managed by the project approach. The theoretical part presents the basic concepts of project management and legal regulation of spin-off. The analytical part focuses on the two previous spin-offs and the analyses needed for project management are made. Based on the analytical part, the design part contains the project proposal of the branch. The project identification and planning phases are made, the course of implementation and completion phases is indicated.

Main goal of this thesis is to provide information about project management quality and possibilities of quality improvement in project management by project postaudit. Other goals are to inform about best practice in project management and project postaudit and to provide manual for project postaudit implementation.

Diploma thesis is focused on the design of mobile application used in project management and projects portfolio management. The design was created based on the results of analysis of the mobile applications for PM and PPM. The analysis was developed in two steps and its parameters are based on the information provided in the theoretical part. Results of the analysis were used for creating a design of the mobile application, which consists of three basic parts - design functionality, user interface and technical background. The final design was verified by experts to confirm its practical benefits and uses.
