Master´s thesis analysed the financing of a development project Slunečný vrch, produced by ABILD s.r.o. company. On the basis of detailed analysis, the project includes proposals to support sales and optimize revenues.

This work is focused on supporting of processes of selected company. Ana-lyzes have identified processes that have been designed to change. These processes were designed and a project plan was developed to address their deployment. The project plan includes designing tests and risk analysis. The work also includes an economic evaluation of the project implementation.

This diploma thesis deals with use of the Project Implementation Profile (PIP) tool in managing training projects in the non-profit sector. Appropriate methodology for implementation of the PIP tool is described. The Project Implementation Profile tool is implemented in order to enhance quality of management of chosen training project. This training project is realized by non-profit children organization called Chameleon Brno. Furthemore, proper measures evaluating ten critical success factors are set. They are tracked and analyzed for a purpose of determination their impact on performance of training project. Two similar training projects are compared in order to find out improvements provided by use of the PIP tool. Finally, the proposed measures are discussed in relation to their suitability also for other training projects operated by organization Chameleon Brno. It results in desicion that they can be applied also to these training project in order to enhance quality of their management.

The topic of the diploma thesis is evaluation of the project "Don't get lost in old age". This project is focused on education and counseling in topics of aging. In theoretical part, I focus on description of current situation of old age and aging, summarize old age associated key problems to which the project tries to respond. I also describe the concept of dignity, clarify the needs of seniors and their families. I also mention the possibilities of social services that focus on the elderly or support the carers. The main topic of the work is to introduce and evaluate the consulting portal and all its activities. The project includes many professionals such as a lawyer, nutritionist, financial expert, psychologist and social worker. Range of areas of consultations is therefore wide. However, in order for the project to reach the public as much as possible, it is necessary to direct activities right, to promote the consulting portal and increase interest in the topic of old age and aging with it. In practical part, through interviews with experts and project participants, I evaluate the functionality of the project and I map where improvements would be appropriate. Diploma thesis deals with the problem of project management in a condition of company focused on the development of mobile and web applications. This work represents the current situation of project management and analyzes selected representatives of methodologies used in software development by describing their advantages, disadvantages and form of use. The work shows significant statistical findings about project successes and analyzes the current trend of used methodologies. Practical part of this work is focused on the description and analysis of company environment, for the appropriate setting of the methodology of software project management. The most suitable methodology is chosen in the work with respect to the company criteria, which is implemented on two real pilot projects. Finally, there is an evaluation of the results obtained according to the criteria

The aim of this work was to show on actual example the possibilities of financing projects in the education sphere.

This thesis describes the design and application of the methodology for project management of the Software Quality Assurance Competence Centre. In short theoretical introduction the thesis mentions the basic concepts associated with project management, including several examples of methodologies for project management. Then the thesis introduces the concept of Competence Centers at the University of Economics, Prague and identifies the specifics of the SQA Competence Centre's projects, or the specifics of managing these projects. Theses specific serve as a basis for design of the methodology for project management of the SQA Competence Centre, which consists of seven dimensions that cover various areas of project management. A crucial part of this methodology can be considered a project lifecycle model and process model of project management of the SQA Competence Centre. The methodology is then applied to the project management of the Integrated Testing Tools. Application of the designed methodology made this project and its management more transparent and efficient. This usage of the methodology also highlighted the importance of project manager's ability to motivate project team members. The main outcome of the thesis is designed and proven methodology for project management of the SQA Competence Centre with possible application in projects other Competence Centers operating at universities.

This thesis is focused on the project management methods within planning project of creation visual identity with photographing the products and creation of the web graphic for customer. Except the planning of project the thesis also analyzes current situation and decides whether the project is suitable for realisation. Thesis also includes teoretical background required for understanding this issue. The result of this thesis can be used as a basis for realization of the project.

This diploma thesis is focused on the analysis and description of the development market in the Czech Republic. The thesis describes the specific activities leading to the development project in all its phases, presents the project risks and defines the security and specifications of the development projects. The analysis is focused on commercial office projects and it is formed in three successive levels, at the level of the Czech Republic, at the level of the analysis of the Prague and Brno markets, to a specific analysis of the selected project.

The diploma thesis deals with the life cycle of the project, economic evaluation and risk analysis and its findings should help in deciding on the investment to take over the project and its further implementation. The introductory part of the work is used to get acquainted with the theoretical basis, methods of risk analysis and economic evaluation and design of a methodological procedure for the development of a case study. The case study uses economic indicators to assess the investment project and further defines and evaluates risks using the modified RIPRAN method. Some measures to reduce the risks of the project are also described and proposed.
