Inkluzivní prostředí školní třídy na 1.stupni ZŠ s asistentem žáka s tělesným postižením / Inclusive environment of a primary school class including teachers assistant

This diploma thesis deals with the development of the school climate in a classroom with a seriously physically disabled child who requires permanent presence of an assistant. The theoretical part focuses on physical disabilities and their impact on the psyche of the child, the specifics of including a seriously disabled child in educational instructional contexts and the life of the classroom, and on the cooperation between a form teacher and an assistant whose support and help is required by the child during all lessons. The practical part uses a narrative of two girls and people who are closely related to them to offer answers to the inquiries into how have relationships within such a classroom and the attitude of classmates to a disabled child changed over the years; how can the presence of an assistant affect the climate of the classroom; and whether the external perception of the inclusion of a disabled child as a successful one corresponds with the feelings of the disabled child, of if the child sees the process otherwise. Hodnocení žáků na 1.stupni základní školy / Evaluation of pupils at a primary school

The presented thesis focuses on the problem of evaluation of pupils at primary school using teacher's action research. The target of the thesis is to determine the influence of analytical feed-back on the self-evaluation of pupils in the 1st to 4th grade. First part of the thesis contains the theory of problem of evaluation, feed-back and self-evaluation, as well as findings from evolutionary psychology. The second part summarizes results obtained from the action research that were aimed on capturing of the evolution of self-evaluation during the individual grades. Conclusions include confirmation that systematic performance of a proper analytical feed-back by the teacher leads to the development and improvement of the self- evaluation skill. Influence of the feedback on self-evaluation is also evaluated. Thesis confirms importance of partnership approach in education.

But the researches show that the universities nowadays come working of a very limited form in the education of the statistics, making that they leave classrooms as professionals with low preparation about this topic and how to work, therefore the majority of the mathematics professors had crystallized in their practical knows little on statistics and the proposals of the PCN for the education of this topic. The proposal of this work is applied in an inquiry that will involve professor and pupils of average education. Verify if this educator would teach its pupils to solve a list with elaborated problems to understand average; medium; mode; standard deviation; quartiles and graphs as it would proceed after some adjustments considered about the Technician, Mobilized and Available. After the preparation of the professor and the results of this preparation have been implemented in its classroom, as the pupils would answer the list proposal to the test, and in which level of conceitualization considered for Robert (1998), these pupils had surveyed / Os Parâmetros Curriculares Nacionais (1997) incluíram conteúdos de estatística no ensino Fundamental e Médio como parte do programa disciplinar de Matemática, que foi muito importante para que houvesse mudanças no ensino da Estatística, o fato levou as editoras a uma preocupação maior quanto ao ensino deste tópico, assim, passaram incluir a Estatística de uma forma um tanto mais elaborada em seus manuais e o professor de matemática vem refletindo sobre sua prática. Mas as pesquisas mostram que as universidades nos dias de hoje vêm trabalhando de forma muito limitada no ensino da estatística, fazendo que saiam para as salas de aulas profissionais pouco preparados a respeito desse tópico e como trabalhar, pois a maioria dos professores de matemática cristalizaram em sua prática conhecem muito pouco sobre estatística e as propostas dos PCN para o ensino deste tópico. Les contrôleurs du trafic aérien ou « aiguilleurs du ciel », dont l’activité consiste à assurer la sécurité de l’écoulement du trafic aérien, vont bientôt être confrontés à une évolution sans précédent de leur activité de travail. Pour pallier à une évolution de contexte, associée principalement à une augmentation significative du niveau de trafic aérien, la construction d’un nouvel environnement de contrôle induisant l’introduction de nouvelles technologies et de l’automatisation partielle de la tâche de contrôle est visée. Ces perspectives, qui ont pour objectif de diminuer les sollicitations des contrôleurs aériens afin d’augmenter le seuil capacitaire de gestion du trafic aérien, suscitent l’interrogation. Notamment, comment assurer la validation de ces évolutions en vue des objectifs visés ? Ce doctorat porte sur l’étude de la charge mentale de contrôleurs aériens dans différents contextes, afin d’évaluer les effets engendrés par de telles modifications apportées à leur environnement de travail quotidien. L’évaluation proposée repose sur une approche multidimensionnelle centrée sur l’analyse de paramètres oculaires enregistrés grâce à une technique d’eye-tracking dans des situations de contrôle écologiquement valides, en référence à la tâche de contrôle du trafic aérien. La première étude a tout d’abord permis de caractériser la gestion de la charge mentale effectuée par les contrôleurs aériens au cours de leur activité dans une situation nominale (reflétant la situation de contrôle du trafic aérien actuelle). La deuxième étude porte sur les effets générés par l’introduction de nouveaux systèmes informatisés d’aide à la décision induisant une automatisation partielle de la tâche de contrôle. Enfin, la dernière étude souligne l’effet du niveau de formation sur les modes de gestion des ressources cognitives employés par les contrôleurs aériens. / The air traffic controllers, whose job is to ensure the safety of air traffic flow, will soon be faced to an unprecedented change in their work activity. To compensate a change of context, mainly associated with a significant increase of the air traffic density, the elaboration of a new air traffic control environment is considered. In particular, the introduction of new technologies (all electronic devices) causing the partial automation of the control task, has been defined as prospects for the En-Route air traffic control work position. These perspectives aim at reducing the air traffic controllers’ requirements in order to increase the capability threshold of air traffic management associated with air traffic control service rendered. Such a change may however query. Indeed, how to ensure the validation of these developments to the objectives? This research aims to study the air traffic controllers’ mental workload in different contexts. The objective of this approach is to assess the effects caused by such changes in the air traffic controllers’ daily work environment. The proposed assessment is based on a multidimensional approach mainly focused on the analysis of ocular parameters recorded through an eye-tracking technique in air traffic control situations ecologically valid with reference to the features of air traffic control task. The results deduced from the empirical work of this research were first used to characterize the management of mental workload carried by air traffic controllers during their activity in the nominal situation (reflecting the current air traffic control situation). The results obtained through this research also focused on the effects generated by the introduction of new computerized systems inducing a partial automation of the control task, and those induced by the level of training dedicated to the use of such systems on the management methods of cognitive resources employed by air traffic controllers.

O aluno-problema e o governo da alma: uma abordagem foucaultiana / Problem pupil and the government of the soul: a Foucaultian approach

Nesse trabalho, o tema do fracasso escolar sofre uma abordagem foucaultiana. Ele é analisado a partir dos efeitos de poder que produz. O referencial teórico impõe à pesquisa a busca por enunciados proferidos por personagens sociais capazes de conduzir condutas de outrem. O corpo documental coletado refere-se a laudos de avaliações aplicadas por clínicas de atendimento psicopedagógico de viés notadamente psiquiátrico. Sobre essa base empírica, especula-se que as similitudes entre os diversos relatórios insinuam a instalação de um regime de verdade em torno de um sujeito, qual seja: o aluno transtornado. Destrinchando a lógica discursiva dessas avaliações diagnósticas, a dissertação sugere que o escolar deficitário produzido por essas testagens é uma recorrência do pregresso aluno-problema constituído pelas narrativas de Artur Ramos na década de trinta do século XX. Supõe-se que as aproximações entre o transtornado dos laudos e o problemático de Artur Ramos apontam para técnicas de governo aplicadas com fito a disciplinar educandos. Decorre dessa suposição a análise a respeito do mecanismo pelo qual opera a dita governamentalidade. Nesse percurso, aventa-se que ela instiga a práticas de auto-governo. Tais ações são escavadas em textos historiográficos dedicados a estudar a conexão entre as medidas estatais dirigidas à população e as intervenções públicas voltadas aos corpos dos indivíduos. A hipótese desse trabalho alega que os saberes psi tiveram suma importância para viabilizar a efetiva transferência dos ideais de normalidade chancelados pelo Estado nos comportamentos dos indivíduos. Considera-se, atualmente, que tais saberes tornaram-se fundamentais, pois permitem a sondagem da alma e, por conseguinte, a condução das interioridades com base na norma aferida nos exames aplicados pelos biotécnicos. Nesse grupo social detecta-se, com base nas pesquisas de Lucien Sfez sobre a biotecnologia na contemporaneidade, a imersão de muitos de seus agentes em uma nova utopia definida pelo autor como uma Utopia da Saúde Perfeita. Nela comparecem definições que apontam para a formação de bioidentidades. Estas operariam no sentido de atrelar cada qual a seu corpo. Assim fazendo, tais verdades produzidas no ambiente laboratorial viabilizariam a redução da vida a um fato biológico. A pesquisa que aqui se sintetiza visa, por fim, atrelar os saberes performativos do aluno-problema às estratégias da biopolítica. Assim, imagina-se a escola como espaço privilegiado para a disseminação de agentes biopolíticos, ou seja, atores competentes para aplicar técnicas de governo sobre todo o alunado por meio da promoção da livre busca pelas interioridades auto-governáveis. / In this work, the subject of school failure follows a Foucaultian approach. The school failure is analyzed from the power effects that it produces. The theoretical referential imposes the search for statements pronounced by social personages capable of driving the behavior of others. The documental corpus so gathered refers to the evaluation reports applied by psychopedagogic treatment clinics with a noticeable psychiatric bias. From this empirical basis, it is supposed that the similarities between the various reports suggest the setting of a system of truth around the individual, that is, the upset pupil. By explaining the discursive logic of these diagnostic evaluations, this essay suggests that the deficitary student coming up from these tests is, in fact, the return of the former problem pupil constituted by the narratives of Arthur Ramos in the thirties of the twentieth century. It is assumed that the approaches between the upset individual from the reports and the disturbed one of Arthur Ramos point out to the government techniques that were applied in order to correct pupils. Such a hypothesis leads to the analysis concerning the mechanism by which the so-called governamentability operates. Hence, it is supposed that it brings about auto-government practices. Such actions were investigated from historiographic texts committed to the study on the connection between the state procedures intended for the population and the public interventions intended for the bodies of the individuals. The hypothesis of this work asserts that the \"psy\"\' knowledges have had a great relevance in making possible the effective transference of the ideals of normality for the individuals behaviors, which was approved by the State. Presently, this kind of knowledge is considered essential, because it allows the assessment of the soul, therefore, the control of the interiorities on the basis of the standard estimated in the exams applied by the biotechnicians. In this social group, it was verified, based on the research by Lucien Sfez on biotechnology in the contemporaneity, the immersion of many of its agents in a new utopia, defined by the author as the Utopia of the Perfect Health. It brings definitions that point out to the development of bioidentities. These ones would operate in order to link each one to his/her own body. Thus, such truths, produced in the lab environment, would make possible to reduce life to a biological fact. Finally, the research, here summarize aims at linking performative knowledges of problem pupil to the strategies of the biopolitics. Therefore, school is seen as privileged place to propagate biopolitical agents, that is, competent actors capable of applying government techniques to the whole group of students, by means of promoting the free search for auto-governed interiorities.

This diploma thesis is about the pupils who have been victims of bullying during their studies at the primary or the secondary schools and who have been forced to transfer to another school because of this problem. The aim of this diploma thesis is to make a preview into the problematic of bullying related to the transfer of the pupil to another school, further off submit the overview of the factors, which can influence the success of this particular solution of the bullying issue. The first part of diploma thesis focus on explanation of the ground concepts related with bullying, as the personality of aggressor and victim, directions and forms of the bullying on the school, development of bullying and participators of it. The second part is about the consequence and the prevence of bullying. In the third part are mentioned previous researches related to repetition of bullying at the same actors and further off there is submitted comparison of individual case reports. The method of research was case study, in which was analyze and compare statements of respondents, who happend to be bullying during their schooling and transfer on the another school. The diploma thesis deals with the work of teaching assistant working with pupils with disabilities at the common primary school. Within the framework of the inclusive education the number of pupils with disabilities is increasing and in the result increase also the teaching assistent in the primary school. Work with teaching assistant is in the beginning for many schools but there are still various problems. This topic is relevant today and it is discussed in both academic field and general public. The aim of this diploma thesis is to define the work of the teaching assistants at the primary school and the partial aim is to find out how the teaching assistants perceive their profession or what they would change. To meet these goals, qualitative research methods were used, especially semi-structured interviews together with the information from the respondent's demographic survey. The interviews were processed using note- based coding and for obtained data analytical induction was used. The result of the research is an overview of the activities of the assistant teacher and teamwork of teachers and other professional staff. The obtained data show that teachers' assistants still work mainly with assigned pupils (pupils with SEN) and do not give the teacher enough space to work with these pupils...

The diploma thesis is focused on technical excursions in Sedlčany and their implementation in education at the first level of elementary schools. The theoretical part describes the learning and its life meaning, including the development of the child's thinking with the theory of learning process. It also deals with the technique in the life of contemporary person and his influence on the development of the personality of the child. It focuses on the place of work education at the first level and its aims. It deals with teaching methods, their classification and provides an overview of some activating teaching methods. It defines the excursion and analyzes it didactically. It deals with primary technical litteracy. It characterizes selected technical monuments and sites for excursion. The practical part consists of six suggestions of technical excursions, which can be realized in the teaching of pupils at the first level of elementary schools. The part is the evaluated questionnaire on the effectiveness of the excursions between the first grade teachers. In addition, more general recommendations for applying original excursions in the primary education.

JEZIK: A Cognitive Translation System Employing a Single, Visible Spectrum Tracking Detector

A link between eye movement mechanics and the mental processing associated with text reading has been established in the past. The pausing of an eye gaze on a specific word within a sentence reflects correctness or fluency of a translated text. A cognitive translation system has been built employing a single, inexpensive web camera without the use of infrared illumination. It was shown that the system translates the text, detects rarely occurring and out-of-context words from eye gaze information, and provides solutions in real time while the user is still reading. The solutions are in form of a translation, definition or synonym for the word in question. The only effort required is that of reading.
