Para tanto, especifico a Agremiação Junina Cariri, na cidade de Juazeiro do Norte-CE, como espaço de pesquisa empírica. O referido grupo é constituído por cerca de cinquenta jovens, entre os quais, trinta e dois são brincantes. Residentes em bairros diversos da cidade mencionada, o perfil etário dos sujeitos de pesquisa varia entre 15 e 30 anos de idade. Ofereço uma análise sobre a categoria juventude e a articulação juvenil para fazer com que a quadrilha junina promova suas apresentações e seja socialmente reconhecida. Discuto as festas juninas através dos festivais institucionalizados na cidade e como possibilidade de construção de espaços de visibilidades aos jovens a partir das apresentações. As quadrilhas, por sua vez, são lócus de extremo convívio entre os jovens, ultrapassando os momentos do ciclo junino entre os meses de junho e julho. A pesquisa de caráter qualitativo tem como base metodológica a etnografia, sobretudo, a observação participante, e ainda, entrevistas e questionários. O texto está estruturado em quatro capítulos, nos quais, problematizo os aspectos metodológicos, bem como tenciono as categorias festas juninas na cidade, jovens, juventudes, sujeitos juvenis, sociabilidades e protagonismos. / Taking as a case of watching the youthful experiences and practices experienced in the world of parties and bonfire gangs aim of this study develop an understanding of the sociability and protagonisms where young people are the central actors. It is also important to reflect on how such groups are appropriate for young people in terms of belonging modes and means of identification, but who do not constitute lifestyles they mediated in urban areas. To this end, specific to Agremiação Junina Cariri in the city of Juazeiro do Norte - CE, as empirical research space. This group consists of about fifty young people, including thirty-two are brincantes. Residents in several neighborhoods of that city, the age profile of research subjects varies between 15 and 30 years old. I offer an analysis on youth and juvenile joint to make the June gang promote their presentations and be socially recognized. Discuss the June festivals through the institutionalized festivals in the city and how the possibility of building visibility spaces for young people from the presentations. Gangs, in turn, are locus of extreme living among young people, surpassing the june cycle times between the months of June and July. The qualitative research is methodological basis ethnography, especially the participant observation, and also interviews and questionnaires. The square dance contests in Boa Vista began in 1980, but they gained greater visibility since 2001 when they began to receive funding from the state government and from City Hall. In general, it is observed that traditional cultural practices festive over the decade studied had changes in relation to a spectacularly dimension the event, which can be viewed in multiple ways, such as dance, music, dress and allegory. The methodology includes literature, field research and ethnographic records of multiple cultural aspects involved in the event, as well as semi-structured interviews, to provide data for understanding the transformation process of the groups participating in the contests. The analysis takes as reference three folk groups, with the purpose of revealing elements that influenced the changes and how they are associated with the cultural dynamics of square dances / O presente trabalho propõe-se a analisar as transformações culturais verificadas nas apresentações dos grupos folclóricos de quadrilhas juninas na cidade de Boa Vista, capital do Estado de Roraima, no período de 2001 a 2011. Os concursos de quadrilhas juninas em Boa Vista iniciaram em 1980, mas adquiriram maior visibilidade a partir de 2001 quando passaram a receber recursos financeiros do Governo Estadual e da Prefeitura Municipal. De modo geral, observa-se que práticas culturais tradicionais festivas ao longo da década estudada tiveram modificações no que se refere a uma dimensão espetacularizada do evento, que pode ser visualizada em múltiplos aspectos, como na dança, na música, na vestimenta e na alegoria. A metodologia inclui levantamento bibliográfico, pesquisa de campo e registros etnográficos dos múltiplos aspectos culturais envolvidos no evento, além de entrevistas semiestruturadas, visando fornecer subsídios para o entendimento do processo de transformação dos grupos que participam nos concursos de quadrilhas juninas. A análise toma como referência três grupos folclóricos de quadrilhas juninas, com o propósito de revelar elementos que influenciaram nas mudanças e de que forma estão associadas à dinâmica cultural das quadrilhas.

Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior / Neste trabalho traço considerações acerca do hibridismo e da semiótica usando como corpus as fotografias e as indumentárias da Quadrilha Eita Junino entre os anos de 2006 a 2012. A pesquisa apoia-se no referencial teórico sedimentado em Canclini (2003), Stuart Hall (2006), Peirce (2012), Merrel (2012) e outros autores que verificaram a cultura como algo em movimento e em construção. Finalmente, a abordagem semiótica tentará alcançar os diversos sentidos que os signos proporcionam dentro de um universo semiósico das quadrilhas juninas e, este, está em constante construção e movimento. / In this paper trace considerations about hybridity and semiotics as corpus using the photographs and costumes of Square Dancer Eita Junino the years 2006 to 2012. The research is based on the theoretical framework settled in Canclini (2003), Stuart Hall (2006 ), Peirce (2012), Merrell (2012) and others have found that culture as something moving and construction. Finally, the semiotic approach will bring about the many ways that signs provide within a semiosic universe, and this is under constant construction and movement.

A inser??o das manifesta??es culturais populares no campo midi?tico traz ? tona antagonismos entre tradi??o e modernidade e a constru??o de nossas representa??es identit?rias. Neste estudo problematiza-se a rela??o da visibilidade midi?tica com nossa identidade cultural e regional. Objetiva-se, de modo geral, analisar as representa??es da cultura popular nordestina ao ser colocado como produto midi?tico, econ?mico e tur?stico. Especificamente, demonstramos as pr?ticas sociais e comunicativas que se manifestam nas quadrilhas juninas ao serem introduzidas no cen?rio televisivo. Com a utiliza??o do m?todo etnogr?fico buscamos evidenciar que tais processos s?o mecanismos para a constru??o da identidade cultural da regi?o Nordeste. Embasados em autores como Marques de Melo, Benjamin, Lima, Chianca e Albuquerque Junior abordamos o cen?rio das festas populares do Nordeste e suas constantes reconfigura??es nos espa?os urbanos e de m?dia. / Throughout the last century the media have advanced in different social spheres, flourishing diverse phenomena. The insertion of popular cultural manifestations in the media field brings to the fore antagonisms between tradition and modernity and the construction of our identity representations. In this study the relationship of media visibility with our cultural and regional identity is problematized. In general, the objective is to analyze the representations of the popular culture of the Northeast when it is placed as a media, economic and tourist product. Specifically, we demonstrate the social and communicative practices that are manifested in the Juninas gangs when they are introduced to the television scene. With the use of the ethnographic method we seek to show that these processes are mechanisms for the construction of the cultural identity of the Northeast region. In this sense, we question the appropriation of the popular manifestations by the media, analyzing how the Junino groups remain within a scenario increasingly restricted to consumption and spectacle. Based on authors such as Marques de Melo, Benjamin, Lima, Chianca and Albuquerque Junior, we approach the scene of popular festivals in the Northeast and their constant reconfigurations in urban and media spaces.

This work is a study about the youth and the June square-dance of Aracaju, in Sergipe, and it aims to understand how the social construction of the idea of youth in the cultural event of the square-dance is built, through the analyses of identity processes, of lifestyles, of sociabilities among the members of the June square-dance in a context of cultural consumption. Within such context, it is necessary to analyze, by means of interviews, questionnaire and direct observation, the identity processes, how people consume and produce the local culture, how they give meaning to their expressiveness and sociability. It is also intended to check if the generational issue has importance in this social construction and to identify how gender issue and its relation to the notion of youth and its own generation are treated. And, as a result, knowing the universe of the square-dance members and their motivations to organize and participate in competitions of the June square-dance in Aracaju, Sergipe. / O presente trabalho é um estudo sobre as juventudes e as quadrilhas juninas de Aracaju/SE e tem por objetivo compreender como ocorre a construção social da ideia de juventude no seio da manifestação cultural quadrilha junina a partir da análise dos processos identitários, dos estilos de vida, das sociabilidades existentes entre os quadrilheiros incluídos em um contexto de consumo cultural. Dentro deste contexto, torna-se necessário analisar, a partir de entrevistas, questionário e observação direta, quais são os processos de identificação aí presentes, como eles consomem e produzem a cultura local, como dão sentido às suas expressividades e sociabilidades. Pretende-se ainda verificar se a questão geracional tem importância nessa construção social e identificar como são tratadas as questões sobre o gênero e sua relação com a noção de juventude e com a própria geração. E, desta forma, conhecer o universo do quadrilheiro e quais as motivações que mobilizam os participantes a se organizarem e se articularem dentro do processo de competições das quadrilhas juninas em Aracaju/SE.
