Evaluating the effect of exercise program DNS FIT KID in sportive older school-age children Abstract The diploma thesis evaluates of the effect of an exercise program called DNS FIT KID based on children older school-age who play sports. The theoretical part of the diploma thesis contains general knowledge about Dynamic neuromuscular stabilization. It describes the basic, such as developmental kinesiology, postural function and the stabilization system of the spine. Furthermore, the study also characterizes the DNS FIT KID exercise program, its key principles and exercise position. In the last section of the theoretical part of the diploma thesis, it approaches the specifics of the period of a child older school-age in sports. Methods: The research involved 15 sports participants (athletes and kayakers) aged 13 to 15 years. All participants attended 12 lessons of the DNS FIT KID exercise program. Once a week, the lessons took place under the guidance of a trained physiotherapist by the DNS method. Before and after the exercise program, the participants were examined using DNS FIT KID tests, gross motor tests and balance tests from the MABC-2 battery. - v anglickém jazyce This diploma thesis called 'Differentiation in English language teaching at the elementary school' deals with employing differentiated instruction in a fifth-grade class at an elementary school in order to make learning more effective by balancing the stronger and the weaker students' needs. The theoretical part focuses on topics of learning and effective learning with an emphasis on English language teaching, mixed ability classes, learner differences and differentiated instruction. The final chapter of this part proposes a set of example activities and ideas that might be used in mixed-ability classes. The practical part uses action research to determine whether differentiate instruction was employed successfully. The outcomes of the research are discussed at the end of this part. The assumption is that after the research is finished, the situation in the class will improve since all students will feel adequately engaged in the lessons.

The theoretical part of the diploma thesis deals with possible adjustments to the education of pupils with specific learning disabilities (SLD) throughout primary school of the main educational system. The theoretical part defines specific learning disabilities, their aetiology, and psychological impacts of SLD on the pupils, their school performance and family. Attention is paid to the counselling system, intervention services in schools, and the most frequently used approaches. The empirical part of the work combines the quantitative and qualitative research. It was determined, using a questionnaire survey, what forms and methods of teaching and intervention approaches are provided to pupils. The questionnaire was also concerned with the number of pupils with special educational needs in classes, and the representation of special counsellor and psychologists in school counselling. The piece of the research part is an example of good practice in primary school. The results of this work demonstrate the extent of interventional approaches, and adjustments of education, that can help students with SLD to meet their educational goals, as well as they demonstrate the representation of these experts in school counselling centres in more than in half of the schools surveyed. This dissertation is based on specific areas of learning and disabilities that are related to gross and fine motor skills and the main focus is on the manifestations of dysgraphia. The aim is to affect the peculiarity of these disorders depending on the drawing and artistic abilities of students which requires Rey-Osterrieth's complex figure and additional tasks that are compared with this figure. Rey-Osterrieth's complex figure is a well-known and used diagnostic tool in the field of learning disabilities and it is used to compare the performance of students. The student's artistic ability, perception of perspectives, spatial composition, and work with lines are very important. The performance of each student is described in detail in this dissertation, both through quantification and through a written description. In the dissertation, there can found a case study and a comparison of students that differ from the average data.

Title: Swimming level of pupils of urban basic schools and village basic schools Objectives: The aim of this work is to ewaluate the records of the monitored records of input and output values of the swimming level of children of younger school age in compulsory swimming lessons at primary school. The basic criterion for the assessment will be whether the children will complete swimming lessons as part of their education at a city school or a village school. The results will be monitored in children of different classes and boys and girls. Methods: In this work, I used a mixed type of research, in which I used both qualitative and quantitative research of this problem. The qualitative part of the work is based on the study of available literature, respectively the study of printed and electronic sources. The qualitative part is based on the examination of the material, teaching records from teachers at the swimming school Aquasvět Chomutov. Data obtained from these materials were analyzed using descriptions, graphs and tables. The researched data were collected during the school year 2018/2019. PaedDr. Jiřina Klenková, Ph.D. Abstract: The submitted thesis is focused on evaluation of lexical - semantic levels of language in children in late pre-school age, it specifically follows up their achievement in parts of receptive and expressive vocabulary. The measurement is implemented through the diagnostic test method which was compiled on the basis of foreign inspiration drawn especially from anglophone linguistic ambience. The lexicon is measured in intact population and in children with specific language impairment with the aim to compare obtained data. Developed findings should help to increase efficiency of logopedic intervention in content part of the speech. The project is based on the fact that currently there are no useful update tests available in the Czech Republic for global evaluation of lexicon. This thesis deals with the health promotion policy of school-age children in the area of nutrition and physical activities, and identifies the most serious problems related to this field of health policy. It also focuses on the main problems associated with the lifestyle of school-age children in the Czech Republic. Proper eating habits and good relationship to physical activities are formed from an early age, so it is necessary in the terms of health promotion to focus mainly on children and their education to a healthy lifestyle. This creates possibilities to achieve an overall improvement in the health status of population. To fulfill the goals of this thesis, secondary data from documents that are related to the observed problem were used together with primary data from qualitative research, which was conducted by expert interviews. School-age children in the Czech Republic do not comply with the dietary guidelines or recommendations for physical activity proccesed by WHO. A related problem is obesity, which is caused by these factors. Health promotion policy responds to these problems by projects and health promotion programmes. This diploma thesis deals with the topic of informing children about the composition of selected confectionery and contains a theoretical and practical part. The theoretical section is focused on information about confectionery and its composition, the health risks associated with the consumption of confectionery and a healthy lifestyle in children of older school age. In practical terms, the chapters are focused on a questionnaire investigation, information gathering and visualisation leading to clear conclusions of the objective of this work. A research investigation of this graduate work confirmed that pupils of older school age from Dubí 1 Primary School are informed about the composition and content of additives in confectionery and are informed about the health risks that may be associated with their consumption in the case of 48% of the boys and girls interviewed. The research investigation was concluded with the results of the correct responses of the older school aged pupils from Dubí 1 Primary School. The data obtained provided information that: Items of older school age monitor the composition of confectionery on their packaging from producers in an average of 41% of the pupils interviewed.
