The thesis consists of several parts discussing the issue of the supplying of aristocratic homes in the Baroque period. Everything was done on the example of the Schwarzenberg households between the years 1656 and 1683, during the reign of Jan Adolf I. of Schwarzenberg. The first part involves the organization of the servants in his household. The second part deals with looking at the residence of his wife Marie Justine from Schwarzenberg, born in Starhemberg, Prague, around 1658. On the basis of their personal accounts, the authors presented this reconstruction supplying her household in Prague and a wider analysis of potential internal view of the expenditures in the category of alms. The following chapter deals with food supplies for Jan Adolf I's wife's household at Trebon. The last part relates to the analysis of transport of food to Schwarzenberg households in Vienna in the third quarter of the 17th century, part of which is closer to the probe focused on local supply and consumption of alcohol.

Des 'Amts Schwarzenberg Mühlenverzeichnis von 1724' bietet einen tabellarischen Überblick über die im Kreisamt Schwarzenberg mit Crottendorf bestehenden Getreidemühlen, deren Besitzer und betriebene Mahlgänge. Insgesamt listet das Verzeichnis 104 Mahlmühlen, denen in Summe 154 Mahlgänge konzediert waren.

The presented diploma thesis on the topic Direct election of the President in the Czech media environment aims to clarify how the selected internet news portals (iDnes.cz, iRozhlas.cz, Novinky.cz, Blesk.cz) reported on the second rounds of the direct election of the head of state in years 2013 and 2018. The theoretical part of this work focuses on the definition of theoretical concepts, such as media image, media product or representation. It also deals with the factors of the enactment of the direct election of the president and the resulting impact on society. In the analytical part, articles from selected servers in a specific period will be examined with the help of quantitative content analysis, which should, among other things, clarify how the media decided to approach this new institution.

(česky) Hlavním předmětem diplomové práce je nástin a charakteristika hudebního života a analýzy hudebních aktivit na dvoře Josefa Adama knížete ze Schwarzenbergu s teritoriálním zaměřením na oblast Českého Krumlova v období 2. poloviny 18. století jako příslušníka vyšších vrstev společnosti. Osvíceného knížete s hlubokým zájmem o společenský a umělecký život, štědrého mecenáše umění a především hudebního znalce a vynikajícího organizátora hudebního programu na svých panstvích. Jedním z úkolů je rovněž zachytit drobný příspěvek do problematiky studia šlechtické hudební kultury (období baroka a klasicismu) a socioekonomického okruhu s touto kulturou související či vzájemně se ovlivňující na konkrétním příkladě schwarzenberského dvora v souboru označovaném jako dechová harmonie. Společně s vývojem souboru dechové harmonie dojde ke stručné charakteristice divadelních aktivit a schwarzenberské hudební sbírky, úzce provázaných s hudebním provozem na dvoře Josefa Adama knížete ze Schwarzenbergu. Master's thesis Photographs of Presidential Candidates in Czech Newspapers ahead of Elections of 2013 compares the visual coverage of nine presidential candidates in the photographs published in three national broadsheet newspapers Lidové noviny, Právo and Hospodářské noviny during the period of four weeks before the first Czech direct presidential elections in January 2013. The theoretical part of the thesis summarizes literature probing the visual framing of politics and the influence of photographic images in media on audiences and their decisions in elections. The quantitative content analysis compares the number of each candidate's pictures in the Czech press in order to determine whether the visual coverage was balanced or not and whether this could have affected the election results. It also verifies the hypothesis that newspapers tend to publish more pictures of the candidates with similar political orientation. Besides that, the thesis also compares how each of the journals uses photography illustration by examining the size, placement, type, caption length and authorship of the pictures.

This diploma thesis focuses on relations between a candidate and a political party and how these relations are influenced by political marketing and media. Political party TOP 09 and its leader Karel Schwarzenberg are studied during the political campaign preceding Czech legislative election in May 2010. The study is based on TOP 09's documents and interviews of Karel Schwarzenberg in Czech media. Theoretical part of this thesis is dedicated to concepts of political marketing, influence of media and models of communication. Content analysis compares themes and ways to speak about them used by the party and by Schwarzenberg. Qualitative analysis asks if the party can make use of Schwrazenberg for its own campaign and how strength and what sort of are relations between TOP 09 and its leader.
