The main topic of this master thesis is instruments of the EU external representation specifically in case of the European Neighborhood Policy. As the theoretical part this thesis uses forming the external united position of the European countries after the World War II through the key documents adopted in the framework of the European integration, ending with the adoption of the Lisbon Treaty that creates the contemporary instruments for the external representation of the EU. The research question of this thesis is whether in the context of the European Neighborhood Policy is the united position of the EU Member States. The case study of the European Neighborhood Policy combines elements of both quantitative and qualitative research.

External policy of the European Union as it is defined by the Lisbon Treaty incorporates, among others, the development cooperation policy and the Common foreign and security policy. Development assistance, as a shared policy, represents a traditional form of cooperation between the Union and the developing countries and as such works as a mean to promote the objectives of its external policy. On the other hand the Common foreign and security policy was established by the Maastricht Treaty and until today the decisions made depend on the will of the Member states. The aim of this thesis is to analyze how the European Union uses the development cooperation to achieve the objectives of its external policy and to demonstrate, that using the means of the Common foreign and security policy is essential as well. To do this, the thesis will study the African Great Lakes region in particular.

The master’s thesis focuses on GAP analysis of information security management system. The thesis consists of theoretical, analytical and practical part. The first part discusses the theoretical background of the issue of information and cyber security. The analytical part describes the current condition of the researched company. The thesis’s output is the draft of risk register and draft of security countermeasures implementation. The draft targets on countermeasures leading to increase information security in company.

This master's thesis describes the problems of SELinux, and the methods of creation of a proper security policy with a focus on the SELinux reference policy and its mechanisms. It designs the methodics of formulation of specific security rules, supplemented with the practical example of its application. Furthermore, it describes the available security rules commonly used for http, ftp and ssh services securing, their modification and practical utilization. According to the proposed methodology, these services are protected with their own security rules and both security methods are mutually compared and evaluated.

Master's thesis "Innovation processes personal data for the state organization," deals with the protection of personal data for processing, both in paper, as well as electronic form. The main topic is security policy, the assessment of security risks resulting proposals for the introduction of innovative processes aimed to prevent possible leakage and misuse of personal data.

This diploma thesis deals with methods of management of information security in the small company. The thesis is divided into two main parts. The first part of this thesis is focused on theoretical aspects of information security and contains description of standards ČSN ISO/IEC 27000:2006. The practical part of this work is about the project of implementation of the information security management system in the small company. The implementation is divided into three separate parts with the first part of implementation being described in detail.

The work deals with the analysis of security management in company selling goods trought the stone shop and the electronic commerce. The assets and threats affecting them were identified and an analysis of risks and selected measures was evaluated. The work is based on the theoretical background from series of standards ISO/IEC 27000 given in the first part of it.

This master thesis deals with the implementation of information security management system in the company. It summarizes the theoretical background in this field and uses it to analyze the current state of information security, as well as analysis and risk management and not least the actual implementation of ISMS in the particular company. This work also contains three groups of measures that reduce the impact of identified risks and which also implements an essential parts of ISMS.

This diploma thesis applies the theoretical concept of Europeanization on a research of the Czech foreign policy and its changes in relation to the presidency of the EU Council. As a case study, it analyses different Czech and EU's positions towards the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and then by comparison of both levels it determines the misfit between Czech and the EU's policies in the mentioned agenda. From historical point of view and from contemporary perspective as well, the Czech Republic is famous for very pro-Israeli attitudes. On the other hand, the EU is significantly focused on supporting of the Palestinians and building the Palestinian state. The research is divided into three periods: before the Czech Presidency of the EU in the years 2004-2008, during the Czech Presidency and then after the presidency until the end of 2010. The aim of the research is to evaluate changes of the misfit between the Czech domestic attitudes and the EU's positions by the example of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict's issues and then to find out whether the Czech foreign policy has been europeanized during the studied period. The subject of this diploma thesis is the topic of Poland-United States bilateral relations, the form of which results, among other things, from the geographical location and historical experience of Poland. This bilateral cooperation has a major impact on events in the region, making it a very relevant topic to explore in the light of current developments on the international scene. The work is conducted in the form of a case study and its purpose is to analyse the dynamics of Poland-United States cooperation, while the basic premise of the research is the asymmetric form of Polish-U.S. bilateral relations. The aim is to point out that relations between Warsaw and Washington are, by their development and current form, based on consensus rather than coercion from the position of a stronger partner. Glenn H. Snyder's alliance security dilemma is used in this work to analyse the dynamics, too. Due to the conceptualization of strategic culture as a context of strategic behaviour, the work also provides a relatively detailed insight into Polish strategic culture, which serves as a tool for better understanding of Polish foreign policy, security priorities and thus motivation to maintain significant relations with the United States.
