The aim of this thesis is to probe the link between female sexual dysfunctions in the Czech Republic and physical activity and self-awareness (mindfulness) of women using specialised questionnaires. The goal was to engage women across the Czech Republic to gather large and diverse dataset. The questionnaires used were International Physical Activity Questionnaire (IPAQ) measuring physical activity, Female Sexual Function Index (FSFI) measuring sexual dysfunctions and Five Facet Mindfulness Questionnaire measuring mindfulness. Analysis of the data is used to provide a basis for therapy of female sexual dysfunctions.

The dissertation completes research that began in late 2007. It presents research findings concerning ways and methods of (re) construction of gender identities of Czech children placed in facilities for institutional and protective education. Based on ethnographic research in Diagnostic institute Ark there are examined practices and techniques shaping gender roles and contents, which are rooted in the so-called helping professions discourses. Psychology, special education, social work, pedagogy, education and health education are specializations that converge are under the roof of the institutes and create a discursive field for the exercise of power-colored procedures disciplining the children who are placed (cf. Laan, 1998). These procedures are directly linked to the concepts of socially desirable sex-gender order. The research objective was to capture the processes which have been neglected by the Czech professional community so far and which may become potential disciplination instruments in the hands of professionals in a wide range of helping professions, including social and special pedagogy.

This study is concerned with men's sexual fantasies content that appears either within partner's sexual lovemaking or during masturbation. Except fantasy description and classifying it also pays attention to the associations with sexual satisfaction. The study results have proved that they appear much more and in higher variety with masturbation. One of the most popular fantasies is lovemaking with the own partner. Most men state one deviant fantasy at least, homosexual fantasy is an ordinary phenomenon even with heterosexual men. From the point of sexual satisfaction some differences have been approved in the fantasy content in contrast with unsatisfied individuals. Sharing mutual fantasy with the own partner has been approved to be very important.

TITLE: The Motive of "Forbidden" Love in Work of Robert Musil SUMMARY: The thesis deals with the problems of adolescence of a young boarder in a boarding school. The objective of the thesis was to analyze the novel of Robert Musil "The Confusions of Young Törless" in context of behaviour models and the role of sensuality in the development of adolescent personality from the viewpoint of rational reasoning of own thinking processes. The analysis stresses the importance of the motive of young man's solitude, furthermore the motive of violence, the role of sensual cognition in adolescence as well as the role of these factors during determination of preferred relationships that might, however, come into contrast with the contemporary taboos and become "forbidden". "The Confusions" of the main character may so be structured and interpreted on several levels. The purpose of this thesis is to evaluate the shift of media picture of violent sexual techniques in years 1990-2011 in Czech Republic during the media and society liberalization of new liberal state. Theoretical part of the document is based on the theory of social construction based reality and the media messages construction (gatekeeping, agenda setting, news values). Analysis is based on the Newton Media Search data resource → electronic database collecting publishing material from major media in Czech. 937 articles published between 1998 and 2011 containing keywords were analysed. Quantitative analysis was based on the development of frequency of publication articles with the keywords from BDSM area. This thesis follows the process of transformation of children's idols of film and music industry into adult artists and sex-symbols of contemporary popular culture. It especially focuses on the transformation of child character in adult representatives of pop-culture industry: development, change and building an image of an adult performer in terms of the sociology of childhood and adulthood career shift (change in the nature of work and roles, any rise or decline). The aim of this work is to find any trends in transition from children's heroes / heroines adults representative of contemporary popular culture. The premise is that children's personalities of the entertainment industry are used in the process of growing element of sexuality to reforging the stigma of "child stars". In addition to the sexual themes and monitors the aspect of gender roles and stereotypes depending on the developmental stage.

In my diploma thesis I expressed the importance of sexuality for every human bein . Sexual health is part of general health conditions and is a necessary condition of a quality life. Every human has the guaranteed right to enjoy sexuality freely, on condition that no one is constrained. Sexual rights are guaranteed by Bill of Rights, international agreements and also by documents issued by Czech government. I have theoretically described the goals, basic assumptions and educational topics in the area of sexuality of people with mental disabilities. For practical reasons I have included the illustrative tools/techniques for social work with sexuality. I have described the personality of an expert, who is occupied with the sexuality of mentally disabled and ethical rules, to which he/she is obliged to follow. I have tried to compare Czech and foreign scholar literature. I have described the methods of working with sexuality in a concrete Sheltered Housing. As a research method I used the analysis of internal documents, especially Sexual report and recorded interviews. When describing social work with sexuality I have relied mainly on my own experiences. In my diploma thesis I have used my experience primarily for description of individual case study; I mentioned two most complicated examples of cooperation...

The purpose of this thesis is to examine how the turbulent changes within the Irish society affected the face of modern Irish drama. Ireland, originally a rural country bound by religious dogmas and its own colonial past, underwent a considerable amount of development in the latter half of the 20th century; it was predominantly manifested through an increased Celtic Tiger economic prosperity and decreasing influence of the Catholic Church. The central interest of Irish culture has always been the effort to define a unifying national metanarrative and identity. In the beginning of the 20th century this desire was motivated by a struggle to establish a vital opposition between Ireland and Great Britain and definitely renounce its depreciating status of a former colony. However, in the second half of the 20th century the discrepancy between the nationalist ideology driven idea of Irish identity (whose value has always been questionable to say the least) and its modern reality became unbridgeable. The introduction of this thesis is dedicated to summarizing the changes within the Irish society in the course of the 20th century. A brief characterization of this turbulent development should justify the urge of more recent artists to re-formulate the Irish national metanarrative to suit the 20th century...

(in English): The topic of this work is the characteristics of the short stories by Kono Taeko. At first I am presenting the methodology - psychoanalysis. Then, I'm describing her life for better understanding of the use of some typical features. Especially the war and the tuberculosis had influence on her work. Subsequently I present possible interpretation of her stories in term of Shintoism (effort to purify) and Buddhism (achievement of liberation). In interpersonal relations Kono Taeko deals mainly with man- woman relationships and her attitude can be considered feminist. In the most comprehensive chapter concerning masochism I am trying to prove with Freud's theory "The child is being beaten" that her work is masochistic. In the end I am generalizing my findings. This work contains Czech translations of examples of her work and contains 68 pages.

This Master's degree thesis evaluates the change in medial presentation of violet sexual acts in the period between 1996 and 2011. The change is inspected using newspaper articles gathered from the Newton Media Search database. Theoretical work is based on the Theory of Construction of Social Reality and the Mechanism of News Construction (gatekeeping, agenda setting, news values and framing). The analysis was performed on 937 articles published in the period from 1996 to 2011. The change of discourse was nalaysed using two-phase research method. This discourse was evaluated based on many criteria, among them periodicity of articles that focus on violent sexual pratcics.
