Modelling and Simulation of Pull Production Systems / Modelování a simulace výrobných systémů založených na principu tahu

Kraus, Vladimír January 2006 (has links)
Práce se zabývá modelováním a simulací výrobních systémů řízených principem tahu (kanban, CONWIP). Analyzuje vzájemný vztah průtoku, operačních zásob a doby výroby. Zohledňuje stochastické vlivy a variabilitu procesů. Teoretické základy jsou aplikovány na příkladu výrobní linky CP1H ve společnosti Bosch Diesel.

Simulační model (reálná situace) / Simulation model (real situation)

Černohous, Roman January 2009 (has links)
The aim of this thesis is to analyze and optimize production processes in a company which produces plastic components for the automotive industry. The theoretical part of this thesis summarizes basic knowledge of business process simulation and addresses the reasons for making use of dynamic simulation as a tool for eliminating dissipation and supporting decision making. The main focus is an analysis of the current situation and identifies the problems in the company. For the purpose of optimization, a simulation model was created using Simul8, by the Simul8 Corporation. The model was made in accordance with the methodology described in the theoretical part of this thesis. It was used to examine the efficiency of proposed versions of the production schedule, in light of its impact on storage capacity and service level.

Modelování a analýza víceúrovňových odměňovacích systémů / Modeling and analysis of multi-level reward systems

Berit, Jaroslav January 2014 (has links)
This thesis is solving the issue of modeling and analysis of multi-level reward systems. The main goal is to design a solution that allows the development and testing of multi-level reward systems. The solution is based on the simulation of a dynamics reward system and the subsequent statistical analysis. The solution uses quantitative tools for simulation modeling and statistical analysis. The proposed solution eliminates the shortcomings of existing approaches, which are based strictly on methods of mathematical analysis. This invention makes possible the capture of not only the characteristics and functioning of the reward system, but also its stability and security. The output data are suitable for control and management decisions in firms that uses complex reward systems.

Využití simulačního modelu pro konstrukci odhadu tržeb aukční síně / Use of simulation model for the estimates of auction house’s revenues

Ondráčková, Kristýna January 2014 (has links)
The auction is a form of trading, which is becoming more popular in recent years. For English auction the typical object intended for trading is art or antique etc. Auction houses require the most accurate estimates of total sales for each auction because of their economic activity. These estimates are constructed, but the only information that is available is starting price of auctioned objects (paintings). Two methods have been proposed for purpose of this estimation. They are conducted in the application Crystal Ball. Selling prices of the objects are generated in the first method and total sales are estimated with the help of application assignment problem. The second method consists in the simple sum of generated selling prices. The cornerstone of these methods is the distribution from which a coefficient is generated that sets increase of the starting prices to selling prices. The first part of practical application is dedicated to estimating parameters of this distribution. In the second part, total revenues are estimated using both methods. In conclusion there is the assessment of the suitability for both methods and estimated distributions. Method that provides the most accurate estimate of total sales for auction house is determined there also.

Kombinace reálných opcí, simulace a rozhodovacích stromů pro investiční rozhodování / A combination of real options, simulation and decision trees for investment decisions

Pavlovská, Tereza January 2015 (has links)
This thesis is concerned with the evaluation of real options whose value represents a certain flexibility of the firm to decide about company´s assets in the future. In addition to classic models which were developed for option rating, such as binomial and Black-Scholes model, which have advantages and disadvantages, there is introduced a possible combination of decision trees and simulation Monte Carlo which runs directly inside the tree. This combination can erase the disadvantages which these methods have when they are used separately for option evaluation. In this thesis there can be found an application example inspired by a real situation and there are described different possibilities of usage of the mentioned combination and there is also demonstrated an unambiguous advantage of this method and that is a bigger amount of information which is provided in comparison with standard models. It allows the company to access much more complex image of the investment. The result is also various option values according to the used technique.

Výnosové ocenění podniku založené na využití simulací / Business Valuation Using Simulation

Gavrylyuk, Zinayida January 2013 (has links)
The following thesis is focused on the use of Monte Carlo simulation in business valuation. It examines the theoretical context of the valuation process and simulation techniques and subsequently applies these to the valuation of Plzeňský Prazdroj, a. s. as of 31.3.2008. The aim was to explore the potential of application of Monte Carlo simulation and to interpret obtained information. There was created the valuation model and performed sensitivity analysis based on which there were identified factors which have significant impact on the value. These were further investigated and characterized in terms of probability. Following the extension of the model to include uncertainty factors there was simulated business value in relation to the variability of uncertainty factors and the result was subsequently interpreted. It was concluded that Monte Carlo simulation may be useful predominantly in search for subjective value for investor due to additional information obtained.

Výuková simulace v úkolové situaci ( Šetření zaměřené na hledisko akceptace, interaktivity a autenticity) / Educational Simulation in Task Situations (A survey focusing on the aspects of acceptance, interactivity, and authenticity)

Hannemann, Tereza January 2017 (has links)
The dissertation 'Educational Simulation in Task Situations' is focused on a new medium - educational simulation, which is starting to establish itself in the field of education. This work is examining educational simulations from three different points of view: 1) the acceptance of educational simulations in the school environment, 2) the interactivity of learning material, and 3) the authenticity of learning material. The experimental results are divided into three separate chapters according to the respective viewpoint. The investigation focused on acceptance in the first chapter draws from the evaluation of 34 Czech teachers and more than 1000 students, who both evaluated the benefits and shortcomings of particular educational simulations that were used by the teachers and their students. The experiment on interactivity (N = 152) in the second chapter is focused on the experimental comparison of learning material with activated interactive features and learning material with deactivated features. The third experiment on authenticity (N = 48) compares teaching material using authentic media sequences and the same material converted into an animated form. All three main chapters contain a theoretical review of the respective topic and our own experimental research. The methodology is based on the...

Návrh nástroje pro zalisování plachtových kroužků / Tool design for pressing of the tarp grommets

Hudeček, Marek January 2017 (has links)
The thesis solves the design of tools for pressing round eyelet 10 mm diameter from steel sheet of DX51 0,5 mm thick. The ring is produced on the press LENA 25 C. Based on a literary study of shearing, expanding and neck drawing, a tool was developed that combines the hole punching of the sail and expanding of the ring end. The study of the circle edge appearance on SSM 3-E stereo microscope and the measurement of wall thickness using the ATOS Core 80 was performed. A simulation of the strain on the press was performed. The proposed tool was experimentally verified as working.

Přenosová technologie G.fast / G.fast transmission technology

Zvařič, Filip January 2018 (has links)
This diploma thesis focuses on G.fast and VDSL2 technologies and their comparison. G.fast has the prerequisites for replacing VDSL2 for short distances. This work describes in detail the modulation techniques of both DSL technologies - DMT modulation used by both technologies. The aim of this work is to create a software for comparing the transfer rates of all profiles of both technologies, including the effects of far-end crosstalk. This is performed in the Matlab environment. This work describes how the program works and how to run the simulations. The results of selected simulations and their charts are enclosed in this work.
