Realita a literární fikce socializace české vesnice v letech 1948 - 1960 / REALITY AND LITERARY FICTION OF SOCIALISATION OF THE CZECH VILLAGE OVER THE YEARS 1948-1960

VALENTOVÁ, Klára January 2011 (has links)
The submitted diploma thesis concerns itself with the reality and literary fiction of socialisation of the Czech village over the years 1948?1960, attempting to capture their features and mutual reflexions. Based on analysis of various sources (chronicles, personal effects, period press material) and period fiction, it follows the events and happenings which were typical of the time. The thesis is divided into three parts. The first part is devoted to actual events and the political and social development which affected the village. Space is given here to a micro-historical study of the life of a real farmer compared with that of a selected literary character from a socialism-building novel set in a village. The second part deals with developments in literature, introduces the socialism-building novel, analyses the selected work and reconstructs literary images. The third part compares the preceding chapters, looks for mutual likenesses and differences, touching upon the issue of deformation due to ideology.

XX a. V-VI dešimtmečių lietuvių romanas: rašymo normatyvai / Lithuanian Novel of 40’s–50’s of the 20th Century: Norms of Writing

Liulytė, Jurgita 07 June 2006 (has links)
Lithuanian literature of early socialistic realism is called normative literature: literary works were written according to certain set rules in order to meet the requirements of Soviet ideology. Comparisons of edits of the novel Po audros – Dideli įvykiai Naujamiestyje (1947-1948) by J. Dovydaitis, the novel Puodžiūnkiemis (1952) by A. Vienuolis and the novella Pikčiurnienė (1953) by I. Simonaitytė reveal the main norms of writing a Lithuanian novel of that period. In early socialistic realism period, literary works describing the past predominate. The ground of such pieces is based on a class conflict. In order to depict class fights scenes of highlighted clashes between antagonists and protagonists are created. Negative characters are kulaks, enemies of Soviet authorities – who serve for condemning the past. Positive characters are representatives of the new order, fighters for welfare of workers. A group of passive, politically inactive, characters comprise the intelligentsia whose depiction peculiarities were borrowed from Russian literature. The contrast of the past and the future becomes the base of composition of a literary work of early socialistic realism. The past is depicted in dark colours, turned into a legend, while the future is depicted in bright colours, often idealised. Literary works by A. Vienuolis, I. Simonaitytė and J. Dovydaitis are full of pathos, celebrating the new authorities, the role of communists as well as working individuals... [to full text]

LIAZ - historie podniku a život v závodě 02 Mnichovo Hradiště očima aktérů / LIAZ - the history of the company and life in the plant 02 Mnichovo Hradiště from the actors' perspective

Bukovská, Laura January 2020 (has links)
In this thesis, I present the now non-existent company Liberecké automobilové závody. Based on available sources, I describe the circumstances surrounding its creation, gradual development into one of the most important enterprises in socialist Czechoslovakia, and the reasons for its unsuccessful adaptation to the transformation of a centrally planned economy in a market economy, which gradually led to its eventual demise. By combining the method of oral history and the study of written sources, I capture the daily working life of witnesses - the former employees of the plant in Mnichovo Hradiště, and find out how, from today's perspective, they remember this period of their lives. Key words: LIAZ, oral history, enterprise, plant, socialistic competiton

Zdeněk Mlynář a jeho působení na Československé akademii věd / Zdenek Mlynar and his performance at the Czechoslovak Academy of Sciences

Dufková, Kateřina January 2014 (has links)
This thesis deals with the personality of prominent lawyer and a political scientist Zdenek Mlynar during his tenure at the Institute of State and Law of the Czechoslovak Academy of Sciences. Mlynar was one of the leading figures and ideologues of the Prague Spring; in the first half of 1968 he was a member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party and later he became its secretary. He was also one of the authors of the 'Action Programme' of the Communist Party, precisely of its political part. Nevertheless his ideological development was not straightforward; he started as a devoted ideologue and dogmatist in the 1950s to become a reformer in the second half of the 1960s. And during that whole time period Mlynar had been employed as a scientist at the Academy of Sciences in the field of the legal theory. For the purpose of this thesis was Mlynar's more than twelve-year long tenure at the Academy of Sciences is divided into three periods: a research assistantship between 1957 and 1959, his tenure as a head of the Department of Theory of State and Law between 1960 and 1966 and then the time of his work on the political reform in 1968, with a special attention being paid to the interdisciplinary team "Development of the political system in the socialistic society" which was initiated and...

Das kompositorische Schaffen von Manfred Weiss im Spannungsfeld von Tradition und Avantgarde, von Sozialistischem Realismus und christlicher Identität

Kneppe, Julia 09 February 2015 (has links) (PDF)

Zahraniční studenti v Československu v 60. a 70. letech: vzájemné soužití a vztah k českolsovenskému obyvatelstvu / Foreign Students in Czechoslovakia from 1960s and 1970s: Social Life and Relations to the Czechoslovak Population

Medvecová, Mária January 2015 (has links)
This work focuses on foreign college students in former Czechoslovakia, coming from so-called developing countries. It portrays the students' daily life, their relationships and conflicts, as well as their coexistence alongside the Czechoslovak population. Firstly, it will be necessary for us to pinpoint the subjects the foreigners studied, and then identify university archives used as research sources (tentatively, sources are available from Charles University and the Universita 17. listopadu university in Prague). Besides their studies, this work focuses on the students' life at the dormitories, their conflicts, and their cultural and social life. The research will, naturally, have to be put into context of Czechoslovakia's strategies and ambitions in the international politics, especially in relation to the so- called developing countries.
