The main objective of this diploma work is the application of various methods and indicators for fundamental and technical analysis on the data of H + S bussi, Ltd. company in the years 2006 - 2010 and based on the results obtained to evaluate the financial situation of the company. The first part of this work provides information problems of fundamental and technical analysis. The second part focuses on the characteristics of the enterprise itself and the methods of evaluation of financial health.

The diploma thesis deals with evaluation of the financial situation of a chosen company, which produces packaging materials. In the theoretical part, there are explained the general findings, procedures and formulas related to the financial analysis. In the analytical part, there are used methods of financial analysis determining the financial situation during years 2010 - 2015 and on the basis of established facts are further proposed steps for improvement of company´s financial health.

This work is focused on the study of perovskite ferroelectric materials group and monitoring changes their dielectric parameters in temperature and frequency dependence Is described scrystallographic systems of barium titanate and their influence on material properties. The measured values are mathematically interpreted using the Curie – Weiss law and discussed about the influence of strontium titanite on important dielectric parameters.

This thesis evaluates the financial and economic situation of the company TESCAN, s. r. o. in the time period of 2001 –2006 by way of prime financial analysis methods. It provides suggestions and recomendations for an improvement of the company´s current position with regards to com- pany opportunities and strategy areas of its future enterprise.

To increase efficiency and reduce demands on working capital, it was recommended narrowing the range offered by trees and introduction of new technologies for bonding wood slats in the surface layer. The topic of this thesis is the convex hull property for systems of partial differential equations, which is a natural generalisation of the maximum principle for scalar equations. The main result of this thesis is a theorem asserting the convex hull property for the solutions of a certain class of parabolic systems of nonlinear partial differential equations. It also investigates the coefficients of linear systems. The respective results are sharp which is demonstrated by counterexamples to the convex hull property for solutions of linear elliptic and parabolic systems. The general theme is that the coupling of the system is what breaks the convex hull property, not necessarily the non-linearity.

Diseases of the circulatory system have long been the most frequent cause of death in the developed world. The aim of this study is to describe and analyze the evolution of mortality from selected diseases of the circulatory system in the Czech Republic, Italy and Sweden from the 1980th to the present with the emphasis on the regional aspects. Its main part consists of analysis of regional differentiation, including international comparisons. Mortality from ischemic heart disease, cerebral vascular disease and atherosclerosis decreased during the reporting period, while mortality from hypertensive diseases increased. Despite the gradual convergence, mortality rates remain distinctly different in selected countries.

Erik Jurjen Duintjer Tebbens, Ph.D. Title of diploma thesis: Matrix computations for mixtures and solutions In this work, we determined drug concentrations from mixtures using multicompo- nent analysis without separating them. The condition was the knowledge of the molar absorption coefficients of individual drugs for certain wavelenghts. To do this, we used tools from matrix calculations, especially the Moore-Penrose inverse, and we were in- terested in whether we would achieve more accurate results using standard, square systems or overdetermined systems of linear equations. Based on the results, we came to the conclusion that there is no dependence between the accuracy of the results and the number of wavelengths used. Only in some cases did the results appear to be more accurate when using overdetermined systems with a higher number of wavelengths.
