This diploma thesis deals with the operation of radiators. It is divided into three parts. The first part describes the various types of radiators and heating surfaces, radiator control and heat measurement, the second part deals with the design of heating and hot water in an apartment building in Brno in two variants of the conceptual solution and the third part is processed in the form of experimental measurements issues of radiator operation during a real day in the heating season and operating conditions that may occur.

The goal of the diploma thesis was to describe critical moments for solving systems of linear equations at the primary school. First, various methods of solving systems of two linear equations with two unknowns are summarized, the history of systems of linear equations is briefly outlined and the theme is described from the point of view of curricular documents. Based on the review of literature, the critical moments and types of mistake made by pupils are described. My own research used the mixed research strategy, where the main strategy was qualitative and the secondary strategy was quantitative. The research consisted of semi-structured interviews with four mathematics teachers, the preparation and realization of a questionnaire for primary school pupils and the creation, realization and analysis of a didactic test. The main results of the thesis consists of the description of the most frequent pupils' problems when solving systems of linear equations, the didactic analysis of textbooks and teachers' views of the topic and its teaching. Determinants of circulatory system diseases among the Czech population Abstract The determinants of circulatory system diseases are very well known, modifiable risk factors and factors widely spread among populations are in focus for the public health research. The aim of this thesis is a quantification of main cardiovascular risk factors in the Czech population using the survival analysis and HAPIEE cohort data. The epidemiologic situation, trends in the Czech population health including "the cardiovascular revolution" is discussed in the first part of the thesis. Among the Czech population high prevalence of many risk factors were found. The education had the strongest impact on cardiovascular health from sociodemographic characteristics. The negative effect of smoking, prevalence of high blood pressure, prevalence of diabetes and physical inactivity was confirmed. On the other hand the impact of obesity, binge drinking and high blood cholesterol level was not significant among the Czech population. The population approach in cardiovascular epidemiology and cardiovascular health promotion as well are discussed in the last chapter. This diploma thesis deals with teaching of place-value systems in secondary school with use of created computer program. The theoretical part of the thesis deals, apart from other things, with some good reasons to teach non-base ten systems. The main part of the thesis deals with created computer program that contains teaching of binary number system and with created computer model of a counting device. These programs are also accessible from the internet. Results of experimental teaching that took place in two secondary schools are included in the thesis as well.

This dissertation deals with theme: Aggregate measures of companies´ financial positions and their utilization. This work is divided into five parts: importence of classification company´s financial position, systems of indexes in company´s practice, site and bankruptcy indexes - merits and deficiencies, indexes of financial health use in operational programme and concrete analyses of firm´s financial position by chosen models. First part deals with importance of financial position monitoring and gives description of financial analysis, it´s usage and user. Second part displays types of indexes system, which are used in practice. Third part characterizes site and bankruptcy index and apprise of chosen models in more details. Final part contains process financial position analyses of firm Zemědělské služby Dynín, a. s by concrete methods.

Thesis focuses on financial analysis and its possible application in daily practice. It presents a number of indicators that can be used as an instrument for financial management of comapny. These indicators, indexes and models are then applied in the analysis of the firm MOTOR JIKOV Strojírenská a.s., based in Tábor. Resulting values are simultaneously compared with rated optimal divide for engineering industry. Further is effected analysis some significant indicator on partial indices and rated their influence over total indicator. Last step those financially analyses is comparing resulting values behind year 2006 with occupational average for year 2006 in engineering industry. Last is there foreshadowed possibility exclusion or reducing some one of specific negative phenomenon, which would be able to significantly influence incoming development those companies in future. My master‘s thesis deals with the evaluation of the financial situation of the selected company during the years 2007-2011 which is accomplished by methods of the financial analysis. On the basis of established results, there are formed suggestions which will lead to better financial environment of the company in the following term.

The master’s thesis is concerned with the evaluation of financial situation of a company. The first part of the work is focused on the presentation of activities of the company as well as on the determination of its present-day state. The master’s thesis uses mainly financial analysis methods whose theoretical basis is introduced in the second part, being followed by the practical application on the situation in the company. Based on the achieved findings, some steps are put forward to help to improve the financial condition of the company.

This thesis examines the development of communication skills of children with developmental dysphasia, with the use of augmentative and alternative communication. The work is made up of theoretical and practical part. The research focuses on the influence of elements augmentative communication intervention in children with developmental dysphasia in preschool facilities. The research part is formed by empirical research based on a case study of a boy with developmental dysphasia, case reports describing the progress of special education intervention in preschool institutions, research part is completed by the conclusions of the investigation and recommendations for practice. The aim is to show the positive influence the course of education of children with developmental dysphasia support structured learning and noticeable advances in communication development of children with the support of the graphic expression.

This paper discusses the economic analysis, its purpose and financial instruments. The selected tools of economic analysis are then applied to the company Alpiq Generation (CZ) s.r.o. Methodological part of this paper is focused on a description of the economic analysis and description of the individual tools, techniques and models. The application part of this paper is focused on the evaluation of financial health of the selected company on the basis of selected methods of economic analysis. The conclusion consists of assessment of the company's economic situation and the analytical tools.
