Systém pro podporu výuky dynamických datových struktur / System for Support of Dynamic Data Structures Learning

Trávníček, Jiří Unknown Date (has links)
The main objective of this work is to design and implement an application that can be used as an aid for the education of programming essentials. Particularly, the attention focuses on the domain of dynamic data structures. The target application will be implemented with the use of web technologies so that it can be run in an ordinary WWW browser. First of all, a brief introduction recapitulates the data structures to be covered. Then the work summarizes the usable technologies available within the web browsers with the focus on the particular technology (which is DHTML) that will become the target platform. The most significant part of this work then discusses the design of the final application. This rather theoretical part is then followed by the description of the practical implementation. A short user manual is also included.

Vliv pěstování jehličnatých monokultur na diverzitu rostlin / Effect of coniferous monoculture plantation on plant species dversity

Němeček, Jakub January 2012 (has links)
A structure and a function of a monoculture woodland is diferent from the natural woodland condition. This is an influence of a herb layer diversity. The change of the herb layer are mainly distinguishable in the case of tree coniferous monoculture. They are the poorest at all of them viewpoint diverzity. The diversity of the woodland was analysed with an insuffiently consequence. This study get the knowledge about the species composition and the diversity of these monoculture. At the same time get the knowlege about next factores, which change diversity and species composition of stand. As a confirmation of this, coniferous monoculture are numerously and species-compositionally diferent from broadleave monoculture. And more, coniferous trees change the enviroment's condition and the whole biotopes. There are not depend any species of the herb layer at the coniferous monoculture on this studied site of Křivoklátsko.

Indexování databází: SP-GiST pro PostGIS / Database Indexing: SP-GiST for PostGIS

Matula, Lukáš January 2016 (has links)
The goal of the master ́s thesis is to study index methods, spatial data type objects in PostgreSQL database systems and to create SP-GiST index by quadtree in the PostGIS. The PostGIS is spatial database, which extends of PostgreSQL. PostGIS adds support for geographic and spatial objects. It is a big benefit. PostGIS has its own data types, methods and GiST index too, but there is SP-GiST index missing, therefore master's thesis was created.

Indexování pohybujících se objektů / Moving Objects Indexing

Vetešník, Jiří January 2008 (has links)
This work is aimed for proposing acceptable indexing of moving objects. With the enlargement of mobile computing it is needed to manage large sets of spatiotemporal data. We introduce the problem of spatiotemporal data and basic general approaches of indexing these data. Further, we show support of spatial data in Oracle. The movement is typically represented as trajectory in two dimensional space with temporal component in third dimension. The thesis contains experiments performed in database Oracle on artificially generate data.

Metrické indexování, Multimediální explorace, PM-Strom, Cut-region / Using Metric Indexes For Effective and Efficient Multimedia Exploration

Čech, Přemysl January 2014 (has links)
The exponential growth of multimedia data challenges effectiveness and efficiency of the state-of-the- art retrieval techniques. In this thesis, we focus on browsing of large datasets using exploration approaches where query cannot be particularly expressed or where the need of some general notion of the dataset is required. More specifically, we study exploration scenarios utilizing the metric access method PM-Tree which natively creates a hierarchy of nested metric regions. We enhance the PM- Tree for the exploration purposes and define different traversing and querying strategies. Further, we investigate range multi-query (range query defined by multiple objects) approaches. We propose new effective and efficient cut-region range query and compare the new query with other approaches for efficient multi-query processing. Finally, we implemented all new methods and strategies for the PM- Tree into multimedia exploration framework and tested browsing algorithms on a game-like demo application.

Investiční možnosti obyvatel v ČR / Investing posibilities of citizen in the Czech Republic

Nocar, Jan January 2010 (has links)
This thesis discusses the options households have when it comes to investing in capital markets in the Czech Republic. The issue of investing and capital market options is analyzed. Following this analysis comes the description of financial instruments, their characteristics, and the usability of these instruments by small investors. On the basis of the theory presented, a study was conducted to examine the usage of individual financial products. The collected data was processed using modern software tools, which helped in drawing several conclusions, results, and recommendations for investors and financial instrument providers alike.

Suffix tree construction with minimized branching / Suffix tree construction with minimized branching

Bašista, Peter January 2012 (has links)
Suffix tree is a data structure which enables the performing of fast search-like operations on the text. In order to be used efficiently, it must be created quickly. In this thesis, we focus on the new kind of suffix link simulation called "minimized branching", which aims to increase the speed of suffix tree construction by reducing the number of branching operations. Our main goal is to present a comparison of the currently used methods for the suffix tree construction and to point out some advantages and disadvantages of the individual approaches. We introduce, implement and practically evaluate multiple variations of the standard McCreight's and Ukkonen's algorithms, as well as Partition and Write Only Top Down (PWOTD) algorithm, originally developed for disk-based construction. Our main result is the integrated description and implementation of these algorithms, which are both well-suited to be further built upon. We also present a simple recommendations on when it is advisable to use a particular algorithm's variation and why.

Modellierung von Preisbildungsmechanismen im liberalisierten Strommarkt

Kramer, Nikolaus 11 July 2009 (has links) (PDF)

Linne, Eva Marie 07 December 2005 (has links) (PDF)
This diploma thesis deals with un-controlled mini cogeneration plants in medium voltage grids. The aim of the thesis is to evaluate and to explain the correlation between small decentralized power generation, transportation losses and load-flow inversion. Several scenarios are developed and evaluated via life cycle assessment. In the optimum scenario, transportation losses are 85 % lower compared to the original scenario without decentralized generation. Disadvantages of the optimised scenario are load-flow inversion and relatively high costs.
